Nurmi and her legal team are abusing the legal system. This is a mockery of the US judicial system. Nurmi is wasting all of our time. He is even wasting JA's time on the stand. These lawyers need to be sanctioned and then de-barred.

I cannot imagine what is in Nurmi's sick mind that allows him to think this current line of questioning is serving his client well. Nurmi's conduct is bordering on the ABSURD.

He isn't just struggling to work with his client and her being awful. He's a bad lawyer, at least on this case!!! I swear, sometimes I've wondered who's side he is on! Like with the sex tape! How was that helpful? Did she demand it be played? I hope this won't give her a chance to appeal.

I keep waiting for a juor to send a note to the judge asking to be excused, their mind is made up and nothing will change it.

I was wondering if JM could go to the judge and complain. Could he ask her to have the DT speed this torture up and move on. I remember in CA trial wasn't there some sort of time limint that they had to be through by a certain date? This is ridiculous. What has any of this to do with premeditated or self-defense. I have seen nothing to indicate self defense or even laying a foundation for it. jmo

I have a friend who is bi-polar and can stay up for DAYS! Thankfully, she's under good medical care and is back on a normal sleeping pattern, but wow.

Not saying Jodi is BP, but there are some mental problems that can cause one to stay up for days.

All this says to me is that Jodi was trying to latch on to Travis, he didn't want to be associated romantically with someone who is as classless as herself so she plotted out a plan to murder him.

Is it just me or is she coming across like a stalker even to the general public? I'm biased because I believe she's guilty, but still. She's sending poetry and lamenting romantically, extensively about a relationship from such a distance, that was no longer formal and had not been so in a while.

I am really beginning to wonder if this girl secretly took drugs. Who stays up that late and has the kind of energy she has? What was with her comment on the phone sex tape about her having "renewable" energy? I am serious. I wish they would have done a forensic drug test on her hair when she was arrested. 3:00am again!

I'm a drug-free night owl. Always have been. And, when I was her age, I could have handled the same hours, in fact I did. Went out most nights, or stayed up until at least 2 a.m. and had a physically demanding job. It just seemed like my energy was endless. I still say up way too late.
