Ok so the really angry message Travis sent to Jodi where he's telling her off for invading his privacy was on May 26. Jodi says it was in response to a message meant for Steve Carroll that she accidentally sent to Travis.

This was after they had several other ongoing fights that day about Jodi acting like a tramp. No doubt Jodi was trying to piss Travis off and make him jealous. There's no chance in hell she sent that message to Travis by mistake.

Anyway - May 26 was a BIG day, and this is apparently the day he told her to get lost and stay lost.

May 28 the .25 cal pistol is reported missing from Jodi's residence. Just saying' ....

Who is Steve Carroll? I keep forgetting to ask about him.

What was the day of the sex tape? Wasn't the message he sent to her (text or email?) about not respecting his privacy on the same day?

Steve Carroll is just some Internet guy Jodi was talking to - probably doesn't really exist.

Sex tape was May 10. We thought angry message from Travis was also May 10, but that wasn't verified.

I just listened to Jodi's testimony about the angry message, and it was Travis' response to the message for Steve Carroll that she "accidentally" sent to Travis. This was on May 26 -- it's time stamped and Jodi was looking at it and testifying about it.

Juan objected because the email was addressed to Travis and SHE had told Nurmi that it was sent to Abe. Turned out the copy they had was the copy of the letter she sent to Abe that had been Fwd to Travis. She had BCC Blind carbon copy which is sent to another email address without the actual email address showing up in the sent to field when the email is received. Hope this isn't too confusing...

Except that Abe claims he never got this email......

According to me, Bryan Carr is not being honest. He may very well be talking about everything but the trial with JA. He has all the trial material available to him just like everyone else - more than most because he's in the gallery every day. So he's getting all her testimony even if she never says a peep to him directly.

He's also getting something no one else has, and that's frequent direct contact with the defendant - and they talk about all sorts of things - which many people would pay money to read about... all the little things. Things that happen in jail. Stories, memories, etc. that on one in the media or public knows about...

...except Mr. Bryan Carr.

Heck if I didn't despise her so much, I might have done it given my circumstances at this time. Actually I might have done what he's doing even though I do despise her - but he thought of it first - but only if I had the full agreement/blessings of Travis' family and if JA would talk to me knowing I'm not on her side, but would like to just shoot the breeze because I have the time, location and I am fascinated by her (like a bug under a microscope type fascination).

This man will probably make serious bank with what he's compiling and with his unique access. If he's smart, that is. I guarantee he's being sought out by publishers right now.

I bet he'll recognize her for her work on the book (writing, editing). Especially, after the trial when she'll need to hide her earnings.

There are 2 things about this case that bug me.

1) I have a very low opinion of people who sell multi-level marketed anything.
After meeting and working with dozens of people doing so over 3 decades, never met one making a living at it who did not have the ability to lie through their teeth and/or to themselves. Both Travis and JA met at a cultish convention(in my view all MLM conventions are cultish) for their multi-level marketed service.

2) Travis seems to have severely underestimated JA, but I have a hard time seeing him as being totally naive. My view of people who wind up in dysfunctional relationships of this type, are not so one-sided. While JA may be psycho, there is something missing with the Travis side of the equation.
When looking at dysfunctional relationships of many people of both sexes, and hearing judges and psychologists remark about the same thing, you will find that "likes", not "opposites" attract, whether it be co-dependents or other bizarre mutual attractions. So, while JA's depiction of Travis may be a calculated strategy with exaggerations and fabrications... even without her saying a word, I just don't buy that Travis had no clue about JA. In other words, I think he knew he was playing with fire, he just never expected to get burned. Not that anyone should deserve such a fate! Most of us have a boundary system that raises red flags, and keeps people like JA out of our lives. Dysfunctional relationships usually occur when this boundary system is broken, and people allow dangerous people intimately into their lives. Point being that there was more going on here than JA being a nut.

All I can really say is that being in a relationship with a psychopath is unlike any other experience one can possibly draw reference from. As loving, compassionate human beings expecting the same we give it is almost impossible not to underestimate an evil, soulless entity bent on power, intimidation, control and possession. An entity capable of leaving lives around them in utter ruin just for having known them.

It is beyond illness, dysfunction, depravity, chaos, and destruction. You spend the majority of the relationship under a spell woven through manipulation and other psychological abuse - some designed to invoke fear while others to make you feel incapable of a life without them (and still so much more). They learn your worst fears, your biggest dreams, your deepest secrets and will stop at nothing in their manipulation to use all of their ill-gained knowledge against you as a weapon to have you comply.

By the time you 'know' whom you're involved with you're usually in so deep you can't even see a way out. If you are fortunate enough to escape the relationship, it unleashes a level of rage and revenge that literally defies words. In my case I then spent the better part of two years just reeling and struggling to figure out what the hell happened. Words really cannot do it justice.

But it was never "forwarded" technically. Forward means I send you an email and then I go into my sent emails and then enter send to someone else on the email I originally sent to you. She clearly did not forward it to Travis - she BCC'd him. It's just semantics, but imo it just showed JA that JM ain't going to be messing with her and her semantics.

So basically the jury discussions will boil to one thing, right?

If Jodi Arias killed Travis in self-defense then why the almost 30 stab wounds? And how did she have the knife and gun with her so conveniently? That is all they need to ask themselves. That's it.

I hope that for the seemingly never-ending torture we're being subjected to by the defense that the jury will have a verdict within a few hours.

So, I'm rewatching some testimony, JA's testimony just after the phone call tape was played and here is the testimony:

Begins with talking about TA grabbing JA's rear end in public when TA perceived that other men may be showing an interest in her....

Nurmi: And the t-shirt he gave you, that was for the times when he wasn't around, is that what your belief was? (Juan objects in the middle, judge overrules)
JA:No, it was a joke (my note...now it is a joke, previously abusive) he wanted me to wear it in public in Huntington Beach, he wanted me to wear it into the lobby and there were other associates there but I refused, it was embarrassing so I just wore it kind of as pajamas.

So, she had enough backbone to refuse to follow TA's command to wear this t-shirt in public but didn't have enough backbone to refuse all of the 'rape' type incidents she describes and in any other area of their relationship. A good cross question with this statement would be "Did Travis beat you for not wearing the t-shirt in Huntington Beach?" and "Did Travis yell at you for not wearing the t-shirt in Huntington Beach?" "Did Travis threaten to kill you because you betrayed his command when you didn't wear the t-shirt in Huntington Beach?" If the answer to any of those question is "yes" then ask "Why did you not testify to this on direct when you've consistently testified to every other act of abuse by Travis?"

Or...something like that...of course I don't know what kinds of questions are objectionable but I'm quite confident that the Juan would be able to word those types of questions properly.

Her lies are really getting under my skin and her inconsistencies are piling up. This may be my perception but it almost seems as if Juan has stopped taking notes, I wonder if he's working around the clock with the transcripts after court recesses for the evening.

I also wonder if he checks this amazing website for things he may not have caught on to or didn't think of in the same way...just to get a different perspective.
