I think she is a succubus and she lured him in and tried to poison him and did for
quite awhile. A nursery mouth talking all the nasty things she thought could
keep him tied to her, thru sex.
And the poor young man who was struggling with a difficult history, didn't have a chance while under her spell.
My intuition says he woke up eventually and was trying to break free...but she was to fast for him.
My heart goes out to his family for having to go thru this...and I hope she never
gets out...if she does, I'll have to sleep with garlic under my pillow...and DH
would not appreciate that!

One of the Carnival ships is floating in the Gulf for a few days. No power, no fresh water, no toilet facilities. Sailed out of Galveston. Had massive fire in engine room. Shut down all services.

Last I heard, they were trying to get tugs to it to take to Alabama.

I don't know why they can't sail another vessel with helicopters to airlift the passengers.

OT I know....but the Coast Guard determined that it would be too dangerous to transfer passengers under the current conditions. It is sort of scary when you use a "tender" to get into a port......when you get off the ship out in the ocean into a smaller boat, and are ferried to your port. But this ship has no way to keep itself in place, no engines or thrusters, and the waves have been 6+ feet, making it difficult to be stable enough to get people off. I know it's probably disgusting on there but safer to stay onboard till they get to port.

What JM pointed out was that the "To" section of the email (that was said to have been an email *TO* Abe Abdehadi) showed it was "To" Travis and not Abe at all. JM mentioned something about a "BCC" (blind copy), but never expanded on that.
I think it's all very fishy because she was breaking into his email. who is to say she wrote emails, sent them to Travis, broke into his account, printed them, then deleted them??

Thank you. I hope during the cross that JM can expand on that. I believe that is exactly what she did.

I don't post often, so bear with me here but...hearing about the cookies makes me think of the airplane scene in "Bridesmaids" when Kristen Wiig has a big old buzz and "says you dooooooooooooo"...when little demeur Helen (who I think is how Jodi pictures herself) tells her something that sounds sweet, but has horns on top! Please tell me you've seen it (or you should). I wouldn't touch one of her skanky, left out cookies. Nor would Travis...he was better at baking anyway!

I bet that she (Arias) does (have horns). Afterall, her pathologically lying, socio/psycho pathic identical twin from Orange County (Orlando) Florida sure as heck had some very pronounced horns protruding from both sides of the top of her gravedigger forehead all throughout her child-murdering trial. lol Wish I still had the screen grabs/shots as I would SO post those very realistic devil horns that she had kicking.

Your comments about the “staged sex phone call” interested me. You suggest that JA motive for surreptitiously recording this call was to obtain “blackmail” material on TA. JA would “punish” TA by threatening to forward the call to his other girlfriends. Such a call would be explosive and in the “wrong” hands the recording would most probably immediately torpedo any headway TA could make with other women. JA could also threaten to forward the recording to his Bishop which would put his standing within the Mormon Church in peril. Thus, the “recorded sex call” would be a very effective weapon against TA. Indeed she could use it to gain or “regain” control over TA. This makes complete sense and is very plausible.

I originally thought that the recorded call was part of the premeditation phase to the murder. The sex call would show police authorities how utterly intimate JA and TA were and that the relationship was on “firm grounds”. The recording would militate against “mens rea”

Me too, originally I thought the same about the motivation to stage the recording. Had Jodi initially made her self-defense/battered woman claim in those first few weeks during interrogation, my suspicion would have been justified. The fact that she never once breathed the words self-defense, control, or abuse for TWO whole years while behind bars tells me that battered woman/self-defense was not even a blip on her radar on May 10th. She aimed to maim and humiliate at that moment - not to set up a self-defense murder alibi - because if that were the case she would have whipped that out of her pocket eons ago.

Because Jodi focused so intently on documenting their "wild" sex life - to me that shows that her intent was to blackmail or sabotage him with what would do most damage - sex. If her motive had been to show police that they were a happy couple, then I truly believe she would have goaded more of te conversation into topics that proved how "happy" they were together, and I saw lack of evidence of that - at least not in the obvious repeated pattern of sex topics Jodi made a point to keep perpetuating even after TA seemed bored of it. The theme was most definitely S.E.X. And that served a different purpose than a murder alibi.

I was joking. Apparently pretty lamely. I just was trying to point out the unbelievable charge of Travis being a pedophile when everything about his social/dating life screams heterosexual, adult male.

I know Jodi tried to backtrack on the witness stand and say the picture Travis was masturbating to wasn't pornographic but rather just a pic of a young boy but it means the same thing. She remained locked in on her charge of pedophilia. It sickens me.

Well, if its true that it was June 4th then I hope Mesa PD is listening. Can't he be charged with something like accessory after the fact or something? Knowledge of a murder/death not reported?
