WHAT THE HECK? Gus said Jodi called him 3:30 a.m the night she killed Travis and phone records will prove it. She was crying and told Gus Travis had died but she didn't know how. So then Gus, who works with Travis, never mentions the death of a very well-known member of his company to a soul. In fact, he skips to his lou to the same Cancun trip Travis was supposed to be on, again never discussing with any of Travis' work colleagues his sad untimely death and no curiosity about why no one else knew Travis was dead. And when Travis never shows up on the trip he still never mentions what a shame Travis can't be here because he's dead? No curiosity at all? Maybe I'm missing something and if I am please let me know, but I think that's a crock. I bet he knew JA killed him. That's the only reason he would never mention it to the police until a month later! Probably when he realized the phone records would show she called and he better say something before the police question him and it looks fishy.

Huh. :waitasec:

I am still friends with most every man I ever dated. I guess in most cases, if I liked them enough to date them and/ or sleep with them, then they'd have to pull some pretty big jerk moves for me to just cut off all contact. Usually it was more of a "I like you but more as a pal" kinda thing.

In fact I have some really wonderful friends that are actually now the spouses of old BF's! We all share pics of our kids, etc. :what:

And of course, I am still very close with my first husband. We have a daughter and are committed to parenting her and are always getting comments from other parents at the school about how nice it is that we are ALWAYS there together for our DD.

I guess to each their own, but I have found something precious and valuable in MOST every personal relationship I have ever had. I don't like throwing out the baby with the bath water I suppose!

I can honestly say, though, that I have had a few "player" types in my life but they usually don't last long enough to even count as a relationship. No offense to all who think TA was a super guy, but he would have set off my "no thank you" meter right away. In a dating sense.

The Mormon thing would have turned me off. I dont care for salesmen of any kind. I like to sample before I commit. He seems like he was a nice guy, just not my kinda guy.

I've remained good friends with a few exes too.

Jean Cecarus [ sp?] is a commentator on HLN and on Nancy Grace show. NG runs her name together and calls her ' Jinnxacaurus.'

The judge has to state no parole cause after 25 years here goes the parole hearings. I know, have to do with it with my brothers killer. His killer will prolly be paroled within the next 5 years. His sentence was life, but had the the little stickie on end with a max 25 years. :furious:

I dont get it at all!

That's horrible! It's life, but not really????? :furious:

btw... i had no idea so many people on here had suffered so much. thank you so much for the perspective. you guys are brave and have my admiration!

((((hugs to all))))

What I found even more remarkable is that a stalker like JA wouldn't know to change her own password/security questions.

Remember that she was whining to a Steve Carroll back in 2008 that TA had her gmail password...

Don't kid yourself - JA is as tech-savvy as they come ... I wouldn't be surprised if she admitted to knowing internet proxy servers, email spoofing, keystroke logging, etc.

She is much more intelligent than she claims ...

My cats do it while awake kneading the blanket they both like to suck while purring away... Adorable!

I have one cat that gets in my lap, curls herself into a ball so she can suckle on herself. I interpret it as she loves me like a mommy.:heartluv:

I actually think that is the time she is talking about. I dont think he ever woke her up by being on top of her (wishful thinking on her part.) SHE is the one that straddled him and was on top of him imo.

I have felt throughout her testimony she flips the roles and what was her role she makes it into Travis.'

imo

IMO Travis wasn't even a selfish lover! They talk about his performing 45 minutes of oral...

She makes me sick! She enjoyed every minute of everything they did. No doubt about it.

I saw this post by "Chad Perkins" on TA's Myspace. I wonder if JA set up a dummy account with that name so she could post and embarrass TA. TA might have added "Chad" even if he did not "know" him. He could have thought it was somebody he had met in passing at a PPL convention. I remember in the early days of MS and FB people were adding "friends" left and right even if they had not seen them since grammar school. If "Chad Perkins" is a real friend he is warped. IMO

"Chad Perkins
Twas two nights before Christmas, and all through the greater Phoenix area, Travis was cruising for underage boys to make his Christmas more cozy. Have fun, just don't violate the terms of your probation!"

No; Chad and Heather Davies Perkins were friends in the Pacific Northwest.

Chad was simply yanking Travis's chain.

Keep reading and you'll see the other post where he congratulates Travis for "coming out" and how it will inspire others to do likewise.

Guys needle each other that way with insults all the time, especially on the Internet.

Why would they have to check on him? He wasn't supposed to be in cancun until june 10th. How does that make them not as good of friends to travis.

Weeeeelllll, he missed a conference call with Gus and Chris Hughes the night he was murdered, had allegedly told friends that he thought Jodi was going to kill him (so he slept with her some more), and the Hugheses and Mimi were all going to Cancun together with TA so they, at least, knew he wasn't already there.

And yet Mimi was the only one concerned enough to head over there and find out. And she smelled the death immediately! WTH? I really think it's some hinky BS that NOBODY else missed him or smelled him for FIVE days! :waitasec:

The camera seems to fly in the face of what you're saying moo

That was my point, precisely -- albeit too smart by half.

I've recovered more deleted files -- from hard drives and removable storage media -- than you can shake a Tootsie Pop at.

The SD card was a classic rookie error...

I thought she testified he'd said it in a previous text message. One that mysteriously went missing, dontcha know? ;)

Yes, that is what highly ticks me off. What 'he said' supposedly cant be verified. Out of all the thousands of texts they just happen to lose that one ya know.:furious:

She is pure evil. Does she really think the jury will be that stupid that they are going to take her word for what he said? After all the bs lies they have seen her spew?

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh she makes me furious how she thinks everyone is so damn dumb.:furious:

Let her think she is so smart..........Juan is going to show what a stupid liar she is. I think the jury already knows it but he is going to make it crystal clear.

Poor Jodi...(not). But still, her defenders have to know it's over. Gosh forbid she meet the same fate as Travis. :)

Agree. I think that's why she can speak in such detail. There is some truth in her lies.

he claims she told him in the middle of the night Travis "had died", then went to Cancun on the very trip Travis was supposed to be on with him.

And we are to believe that NO ONE on that trip discussed this 30 year old's mysterious death and the late night phone call he received while on this trip.

This guy is just making all of this up as he goes along to stay relevant andd being able to show up with his brooch on national TV as much as possible.

I wish he'd just come right out and admit he lured Jodi to his "motor home" for his own nefarious reasons. Now that I might believe.

Just read your opinion about Gus and this makes sense too. He is soooo trying to stay relevant. We can all agree there is NO WAY he wouldn't have been putting Travis' death on blast to everyone. We are supposed to believe he would never mention it to a soul? RIIIIIIIGHT. DID she call him though? He keeps saying phone records prove it.

Really? "Guys" just call each other pedophiles on the Internet for fun?

The hilarity ensues. I am really having to struggle to find many redeeming qualities in this PPL/TA circle of friends. They, IMHO, seem like a bunch of frat boys ( not a compliment and I am a sorority girl from away back) with entitlement issues.

To a certain extent.

Gus Searcy was on In Session today and they played the clip of him refusing to give the name of the car passenger. The judge asked him if he had an attorney he wanted to consult. He said he doesn't have one available at the moment.

Quite the shining endorsement for Prepaid Legal!

I can't proclaim to know what the Hughes or Travis' other friends knew for certain. Some believed he was already in Cancun and weren't concerned. Others thought he was busy. Mimi knew their trip was imminent.

Chris recounts on facebook how he was woken in the middle of the night, in Cancun, when Travis was found.

Here's an important thing to remember though. They all believed Jodi was in another state. I haven't read a single account online by anyone who knew Travis that also knew of Jodi's travel plans. As far as anyone who knew Travis was concerned - I think they all believed Jodi was out of his life at that point, or awfully close to it, because she'd moved back to Cali and he was openly pursuing other women. JMO

ETA: I also have to add that it isn't, ime, a 'normal' response to jump straight to homicide when you can't get a hold of someone or even when someone goes missing. You put yourself through all the 'reasonable' scenarios until you find out differently, the hard way. At least that's the way it was for me.
