Who really thinks someone is going to shoot and stab them to death right after they have sex and nude photo sessions? He was taken completely by surprise with the first attack (whether stab or gunshot) IMO, and that's exactly how Jodi planned it.

I have had a hard time following this case.

I've sleuthed some truly heinous crimes both on WS and off, including crimes against children, but there's just something about this one that makes me physically ill, so I haven't really joined in the threads..

I did watch Jodi's testimony though. I listened to her words and speech patterns. I watched her face for micro-expressions, her body language. And by the end of it, I thought to myself: "She is enjoying reliving the crime and her control over the victim, every moment she's on the stand."

Her demeanour also gives away that she is enjoying the cat and mouse of the trial. I think she is convinced she can outwit the prosecution, that she is somehow one step ahead even though her lies are being exposed one by one. Pure sociopathy.

I have no doubt in my mind she was capable of this murder, both physically and mentally.

:seeya: I am anticipating WS server overload again tomorrow once we are back in court...would it be possible to attach the *usual* court day schedule to the beginning reminder posts, so we avoid repeated posts asking what time certain things happen? Despite the past 'delays', ive noticed the schedule is pretty consistent:

10:30 MDT: START
12:00 MDT: LUNCH RECESS
1:30 MDT: START AFTERNOON SESSION
3:00 MDT: AFTERNOON RECESS
3:20 MDT: START LATE AFTERNOON SESSION
4:30 MDT: END OF DAY

Just a thought to help cut down on a hundred repeated posts

Actually that's what she would love. It's part of her mental illness, she would love the drama and attention. It would be a much better option to have her face death because that is the end of her Drama.

That is what it would be like for her on DR...23 hours alone, 1 hour in the yard alone. now in gen pop it would be different.

Just tried to figure out the shower scenario while my husband was showering. He thinks I have officially lost it. Especially when I asked him if he could squat down for me. He already knew what I was doing.. He just likes to give me a hard time about how wrapped up I get in the cases. Well I always have you guys!!

We have the same type shower as TA's, but my DH won't even let me approach him on the subject - LOL. He thinks I'm loopy enough about this case as it it -- especially when he comes home from work and asks "how was your day" and I go into a complete synopsis of the testimony of the day.

He went through the same thing with the Westerfield, Peterson, Anthony, Gabrial Johnson cases as well. And now this one. He no dummy!

Speaking of which - did all you WS'ers get all your chores done for tomorrow? I have one load of laundry left, did all the shopping, cleaned the house. All I have to do tomorrow is shower, make beds - but dinner is sorted

I would like to know what you think is in the picture of Travis at this link. It's the last picture of him in the shower, he has his head bent forward with eyes closed. What is the object in the bottom center of the picture.

I believe that's a just reflection off the glossy print.

BBM - I agree 100%. When I go back and look at direct, I clearly see her looking through her hair curtain to look at autopsy/murder photos. She tries to pretend she's not looking, but she just can't help herself. Just like when the Detective was interviewing her she desperately wanted to see the photos out of "morbid curiousity".

For lack of a better term, it's not often we get to see this kind of psychiopath in real time. I hope if she gets the DP someone can take a look at her brain when she's executed!

I think the forged letters and the dp qualification are old news. The only new thing I know of was the magazine in court on Thursday.
