The ME said it would have been at least a distance of 3ft or so away which most likely could mean he was laying on the floor, possibly on his side and then she has shot him before dragging him into the shower.

IIRC, investigators recovered a box of .25 cal ammo from her mother's house ...

I agree. I think she showered before putting him in there and then used the cup.

I also think she had blood on her hands when "waking up from her black out BS" was because the cut on her finger (which was the real cause of her deformity) was still bleeding.

But wouldn't she get blood all over herself again while dragging the body?

She would have had blood ALL OVER her. She mentioned she didn't even know if he was dead with all the blank spots in her memory of the stabbing.
Where did she think all the blood came from when she "woke"?
She mentioned he wasn't bleeding from her gunshot story.

She only said she had blood on her hands and that she didn't know where her shoes were. Obviously she would've had blood all over but I think she cleaned herself and changed her clothes before leaving. I just meant that she'd have blood on her hands again later because her finger would've still been bleeding.

I was a gun-shot-first theorist, until I heard her testify to this:

Or, perhaps she was behind him, standing over him dragging him down the hall, back of his head resting against her shins. When she got to where the hall meets with the bathroom, she reached over and picked up the gun (or, grabbed it out of her purse - or picked it up off the sink counter) and gave one last death blow shot, before shoving him into the shower stall.


This is the first thread EVER! That I have caught up with, in real time :great: (okay, so it is only a page long, but you all are super fast!). Heck, I'm just lucky to get a post in before thread closure.

Was she dragging head first or feet first because head first would be the wrong side of the head. Also the slashing of the throat, face up or face down.

Think she would get blood on herself moving the body. Shower had to come after she got him back into the stall. Also believe she was fully clothed while murdering him and removed/discarded her clothing.

I think she simply shot him after she dragged him back to the bathroom right before she stuffed him in the shower. I think the purpose was to throw LE off in an attempt to make it appear there were two perps.

I think she came prepared with a hefty bag, stripped down, showered standing over his dead body, packed up, switched the laundry around, deleted the pics she purposely took and tossed it in the washer.... Wiped down the banister and washer/dryer.

I think any blood on her hands was from retrieving items from the bag to toss them in the desert.

I sure wish we had the sunshine law like in CA's case so we could see that, and everything else.
He did find out about the visitation for the magazines, though. Is there a later minute date dealing with the motion?

Does anyone know if the magazines actually made it out of the building (to AC)? JM kept saying "attempted", so I'm wondering if the magazines were confiscated before reaching Campbell. Or, did AC give them to the prosecution?

They know the brand and type of bullet used to shoot Travis (per the ballistics expert's testimony).

You'd think they'd have asked the grandfather what type/brand (if any) ammo he had for his stolen .25 to see if it was the same - and if any ammo was stolen along with the gun. Especially since they can't test fire the gun. It wouldn't be conclusive, but it would add more circumstantial linkage between JA/Grandpa's .25/Travis' gunshot wound and casing found.

ETA: Also - does the brand/type found at the murder scene AND what Grandpa had, if stolen - match the box of .25 ammo found at JA's mum's house.

I've never seen info on any of this, other than the casing being Winchester brand (iIrc) - I'd love to know about any connections, too!

When JA was arrested for murder, the court set her bail at $2 Million secured. When they arrested her she was packing. Did they not think she was a flight risk? What factors would have gone into setting bail? TIA

Flight risk and the strength of the evidence would be factors that would be considered for setting bail amount. Also, the severity of the crime and the fact that Jodi has been rather transient with her residence and employment.

Because she would have been bloody....blood would be outside his master suite. There wasn't a drop.
