Where's the sheet? I see a shadow covering the lower part of his back (in the darker photo/no foot). The blood isn't covered in any way, doesn't pool or disperse (as if meeting fabric), and you can clearly see the blood pattern continues smoothly down into the darker, lower area... I don't see any fabric or sheet, just shadow...

I think the entire picture is a white sheet (well, not the entire picture but I don't know how else to explain it). All of that blood is on a sheet with his body on it that she is dragging.

What do you all think of this woman who has been making the rounds of every single one of HLN's and TruTV's broadcasts, who says she was a friend of Travis from PPL and because she is an "intuitive" she sensed a negative aura around him.

She has been on with Nancy Grace, JVM, Dr Drew, Jinkasaurus, and maybe other shows as well, saying exactly the same thing on each show. Slightly accented English.

She hasn't contributed a single worthwhile insight to anything. I don't understand why they are all booking her. All she's said is that she sensed a weird negative vibe about Travis like something terrible was about to happen, and then also a weird positive vibe, like everything was okay and he was going to be at peace. She sounds like a Saturday Night Live caricature of a psychic.

I think they all view her as the female Brian Carr: whacky, irrelevant, but funny to watch.

OK...I think THIS is the photo most of us have been asking for - based on what I have posted and some others have been along the same line of questioning, without me knowing it since the thread moves so fast. LOL!!

The glass shower door IS IN FACT completely clear! And I think her lack of using a flash is because she wanted to remain unnoticed. If she was in fact taking these pictures with his knowledge, they would be completely clear using a flash to enhance the water droplets.

Right? Wouldn't the water reflect better...hence showing up better, with the contrast? Or have I got that completely backwards? She IS the photographer, so if I am right then it makes no sense she wouldn't be taking the "Calvin Kleinesque" photoshoot without flash to really enhance the water droplets she is so intent on getting.

If I did not know for sure she DID indeed accomplish it by herself, Arias getting Travis' dead body IN the shower would have made me question if she accomplished this alone.
That was quite a feat - but she DID do it, so there we are.

The position of the body indicates to me that she was in the back of the shower and pulled him in there. Wet tile is slippery, could be done.

Plus in that kind of murderous rage the adreneline must be exploding, the kind of boost that enables people to lift cars when someone is trapped, etc...

I think he's going to ask her if she wrote those secret codes in the magazine, and she will of course lie and say no. It seemed like she was already going for the classic jodi excuse, blaming it on someone else (her cell mate, in this case.) The notes weren't in the same cursive-style writing as her diaries, (which I think was deliberate on her part) but they'll try to show that she didn't write them.

OT: Does anyone remember if the jury was instructed to consider lesser charges in the FCA trial? IIRC, it was a DP case. Was that the only option? TIA

IIRC - the lesser charges in FCA trial included the lying charges and also child endangerment charges.

I had another thought about the linebacker attack that Jodi demonstrated.

When she first gave her description on direct of Travis attacking her, there were immediate responses from the talking heads that this wouldn't work. Travis was shot from the right side. A frontal attack would cause him to be shot from the front. Travis was shot from above. He was taller than Jodi so she would be shooting him from below in a frontal attack. Travis was shot from a distance of about 2 feet due to no residue or stippling. Jodi was describing a contact shot.

We know her attys watch the talking heads and I think she felt she had to clear these problems up. So she goaded JM into asking her to demonstrate. Hence the birth of the linebacker pose. I do not believe she even mentioned this linebacker thing on direct, which means she hadn't thought it up, yet.

JM also goaded her with his superman pose with one foot in the shower--was it like this?

I also don't believe she thought it up on her own. A linebacker is crouched low, so now she can shoot him from above. He gets into this pose from 4 feet away as he comes through the closet, so now she can shoot him at a distance. When she turned her head to the side, I just about spit. She was setting it up so she could now shoot him from the side even though he is coming directly at her. But, she turned her head to the wrong side. Finally, she puts her arms out to the side like the flying nun. He was going to fly across the bathroom towards her, low and head to the side, and she was going to shoot him in mid air from a distance, problems solved.

I don't watch football, but my understanding is that linebackers keep their hands low and directly in front of them, elbows bent. I've never seen a linebacker look like the flying nun. Jodi did her rendition of a girly linebacker, but Travis didn't. She didn't know what it looked like because she never saw it happen. And, I think the male Jurors will know that.

I thought odd response to this -During afternoon testimony yesterday, Juan reminded Jodi that conveniently there were no witnesses with regard to her stay or visit to Arizona/Mesa, and she quickly disagreed. IIRC, or close anyway, she replied -- Yes, there would have been surveillance cameras, or footage-- or something like that. My point, she was so quick to indicate surveillance cameras. I am wondering if this could be because this is something she had given aforethought to, so more reason to color hair. Or, she was fishing to see if Juan might take the bait and agree. I am wondering if she is wondering if there is possibly surveillance footage the State may have, or maybe it was entered into evidence and she was reminding Juan.

The surveillance reference stuck with me as well. The other time she mentioned it was during the July 15, 2008 interrogation video. When Flores doubts her claims that she was not in Arizona on June 4th she suggests he look at the cameras from the Mesa traffic lights. This is all I could come up with

Scary huh? lol But I pretend I'm JA. I don't give a rat's a$$ about anyone in this world. I want to do nothing but travel when I want, eat what and when I want and drive around in a fancy car. I have no conscience and can lie all day long. I'm very clever and can talk circles around people. If people (the jury) hear from me they will see how Travis brought this all on himself. The Prosecutor is a pit bull. I have to hide my grin because I picture me kicking and knocking the wind out of him with a knife. Everyone would see how determined he is to question me then. This is all Travis's fault. If he hadn't fought so hard to live I wouldn't have freaked and cleaned up a lot better and be over at Ryan's with my lollipops and braids. Travis shouldn't have dared threaten me with the public airing of the Gold Digger blog. No one gets away with that crap. That taught him.

in my opinion, she could not care less about how those photos looked.. she just wanted an excuse to be in the bathroom, where he was the most vulnerable, naked, trapped, and easy to clean up after..

i think the whole 'calvin klein' thing was just b.s. to the cops... probably never came up at all while she was there with Travis.

Is Premeditation the only verdict that can get her DP. Or can the degree of violence get her the same verdict. I am trying to figure out if it makes a difference which came first gun shot or stabbings. jmo

Not a lawyer but I beleive that 1st Degree Murder is based on premeditation, and 2nd doesn't carry the DP, so I'd say yes.

lol, you should come in here at 2 am as we discussed within the last 2 nights that woman who killed her hubby, and dragged him to the yard. (Can't remember the name. anyone remember?..she stabbed him over 100 times, and the lady prosecutor actually brought the marital bed into court to do a demonstration of the stabbing!! She was convicted) Anyway..... the way she did it was tying a rope (hmmm, like the one used in their sexcapades) around his hands to better pull/drag the body around. and yep, his head facing bedroom and feet towards hall when neck was sliced, as you can see the spot with the blood. Jaun also pointed out all those very very many footprints next to the right of the main pool. Probably Jody turning him around/rolling him over etc. :moo: That's the reason I strongly consider that the whole sex/tying up scenario was in there, and Jodi KNEW through discovery that the filaments of the rope was found.....and so two birds with one stone. Reason to have knife, and explanation on what the rope evidence was used for other than her using to drag the body.
