If indeed the hairless legs in the sex photos are genuine, it wouldn't be a stretch to believe that Arias brought an SD card with images from a previous sexual encounter, altered the time stamps with a tool like this :

and then loaded the SD card into Travis' camera. I'm not sure why she would do that though ? I also don't buy the fact that she didn't know how to use his camera with all of her photographic experience.

This is very interesting! He has hair on his legs in the autopsy pictures but his legs definitely look hairless in the bed photos. I think what you're suggesting might be possible. Or alternatively, the 1:30 time stamp, could it be when she loaded the pics onto the card from her own camera? I don't know enough about these things technically???

She could have transferred the "older" pics from her own camera at around 1:30 and she could have genuinely taken the shower pics at 5:30? Is that possible?

There has been lots of discussion here today about flash on camera. - so here I go.

IMO, I thought earlier it was agreed that probably all were done without a flash, it was 5:30 in june and bathroom had natural light - enough so that the photos could be taken - and the reason some were darker/blurier was due to the fact that those were the DELETED ones that were only thumbnail recoveries by the police.

OK...I think THIS is the photo most of us have been asking for - based on what I have posted and some others have been along the same line of questioning, without me knowing it since the thread moves so fast. LOL!!

The glass shower door IS IN FACT completely clear! And I think her lack of using a flash is because she wanted to remain unnoticed. If she was in fact taking these pictures with his knowledge, they would be completely clear using a flash to enhance the water droplets.

Right? Wouldn't the water reflect better...hence showing up better, with the contrast? Or have I got that completely backwards? She IS the photographer, so if I am right then it makes no sense she wouldn't be taking the "Calvin Kleinesque" photoshoot without flash to really enhance the water droplets she is so intent on getting.

Sure Jodi would be "relieved" to get away with murdering Travis and have no one suspecting she was his killer for the rest of her life.

It was Jodi's goal to avoid detection or connection to the crime. She says goal. Calling the detective, leaving the messages to Travis after he was dead, going to see Ryan is all part of her goal. That must include killing Travis as part of her goal which means it was premeditated, IMO.

I want to hear/see something on rebuttal regarding her story about stepping on a shelf, an adjustable shelf at that, that sits loosely on 4 pins (I have these closet shelves myself), and without using her hands at all, she was able to grab a gun from the back corner on the top shelf and not disturb anything on the shelves or hanging clothes. IMPOSSIBLE. You could get a couple of Cirque Du Soleil performers in there and they wouldn't be able to do it. If one attempted to do this, they'd end up on their a$$ along with upended shelves and strewn clothes.

Absolutely possible and it's also possible that she altered the date / time on Travis' camera. Was it really 5:30 PM when the shower pics were taken ? The timestamps on the pics are only as good as the date/time on the camera.

Those aren't keyboard wpm, they are court reporter machine wpm's. It is a complicated form of phonetic "typing" with special keys. I've never truly understood how they do it, but it is truly an art. The first deposition I ever took, the court reporter took it with a steno pad and pen! Ditto for my first jury trial. And I am not even THAT old!!!

I briefly was in a court reporting course before deciding upon another major in college (many, many moons ago) You are correct. Words or even phrases are written kind of phonetically - and if I recall correctly uses diphthongs. There are only 21 keys on the keyboard. Sounds like "tion" or "ch" and so on are all written a certain way. To form a word or even a phrase keys are depressed all at once instead of clicking out one letter at a time. It's really quite fascinating to learn. It takes a LOT of hard work and dedication to become a successful court reporter!

If there was, it wasn't mentioned in testimony - nor did I see it in any reports... but this isn't FL. You'd think it would have been mentioned at trial though, so I don't think there was any found anywhere other than what was described by CSIs in their testimony.

My mom just had a really good point--I haven't seen it discussed here before, forgive me if it has, but you know when Jodi was talking about "the laws of attraction" and how she would never write anything negative in her journal about Travis? I wonder if they looked through the journal to see if she wrote negative things about anyone else! That would prove her a liar (again) if there was.

Why won't JA just admit that she cut her finger on June 4 during the murder? I mean, she's already said she was there...she's already said she was the one that stabbed him...she's already admitted that she's lied about a lot of things, so why not admit that she lied about that too? Is it b/c she needed to use that finger to substantiate the lie about Travis abusing her?

She testified on cross that she stepped on the edge of one shelf without touching anything with her free hand and grabbed the gun from the top. She did not disturb one thing on the shelves. Good catch of another of her lies!

Along the same lines, she also said Travis angrily stormed after her into the closet with the mad look in his eyes but yet that bench which is in the middle of the closet is not disturbed. Not even askew, It remains perfectly parallel to the wall. Incredible!!!!

Your mistake here is the first two words "Jodi testified". LOL

IIRC there were black socks in the washer. She took them off at the carpet where his throat was slashed. My guess is that she balled them up, slipped on TA's slippers, walked downstairs and threw them in the wash with the other stuff, brought the slippers back up and placed them on the clean carpet. I believe investigators think so too, which is why they have a nice pic of the slippers and why there would be a nice little fiber on the stairs.

I dont think Jodi left the house in bloody clothes. When she was questioned if she showered that day she paused. (creeped me out!) Still think she showered over him. Maybe not.. but there is no dispute that Travis was washed off. There was no blood in any other part of the house because Jodi thought of it as "her house" too. She even said in the email she sent him on June 6th that "Your house has always been my second home" (I wasnt sure if it was ok to post a picture of that email so Im just including a link) She even tried to clean up in the bathroom. His friend said she may have cleaned up downstairs. The floor cleaner was in the middle of the room in the crime scene picture. She really is sick and twisted beyond words!

Jodi cannot even piece together a lie that is in any way believable. Her story about the attack by Travis as he got out of the shower is nonsensical. Juan is truly gifted & brilliant as he got her to break the supposed attack down into small increments. Her story totally fell apart.

.....and I love the way Juan never hesitated once repeating some of the graphic sexual comments. That can't be easy in front of millions of people. I think Jodi was even surprised, thus some of the smirking. I do not think she thought he would be so direct---like he heard it a million times before:blushing:

The closet definitely has adjustable shelving. That's what all those holes are running up the inside walls of the shelves are. Each shelf is held into place by 4 pins, one in each corner. Her story is hilarious.

Hey Shelby. Juan made a point of locking JA into the facts of her story. During his rebuttal will be when he points out all the facts that prove her a liar and prove the facts to be otherwise. jmo

Forgive me if this has been asked already, but I've been busy today.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but on direct, didn't JA say she got the gun by using a foot stool which was kept in the closet? If so, why didn't JM catch that on cross when she said she "high jumped" up there?

I seem to remember her saying that she used a stool as well??? Maybe she was referring to another time? I will have to go back and listen now!
