Except my brain was scrambled and I was having trouble keeping Jodi's lies straight - as others pointed out, Jodi's story was that she shot him after she ran through the closet

If she shot him first, anywhere other than the shower, wouldn't there have been blood spray somewhere on a wall or floor or something?

Wouldn't be surprised to hear JM use Fognesia. Since this trial BYW, I've come to detest Friday's and weekends.

I think Casey and Scott Peterson are more similar...they both desperately wanted out of a confining situation and in their sociopathic minds without a conscience, murder was as viable an option at any other and they could easily live with it. It was a simple step by step decision without emotion to free themselves to a future they preferred. The killing was merely a means to an end.

This chick is way more evil, diabolical. She enjoyed the murder, enjoys the stand, the attention, the deceiving the infliction of pain, the hurting other people like Travis' family including his sweet innocent grandmother. She enjoyed the killing of Travis making it as INhumane as possible. It was far from an extermination...it was a sadistic violent bloodbath that she enjoyed every second of (and probably relives it daily with pleasure). To me, she's as demonic as anything I've ever seen.
I totally agree. Nail on the head. She has the makings of a serial killer, while SP and CA were situational, means to an end murderers. Both extremely deviant but not as purely evil as JA.

What really makes no sense in her cover up is the washing machine. From the crime scene photos it's obvious she never turned it on so what was the point? Like she thought no one would find that bloody mess in there?

I believe she did turn it on and ran the camera and the bloody clothes through a wash cycle.

There was blood spatter from floor to ceiling in the bathroom according to the forensic witness.

They still looked awful bloody is she did and if she did, she forgot to add the Clorox.

She washed everything with bleach. The camera didn't work, but they were still able to pull the images off the SD card. THAT wasn't destroyed. Her big mistake was leaving that card in the camera.

Sorry, Hopeful One. I answered on the other thread right before they closed it.

And, about her clothing...It's June, late afternoon in AZ (Hot, Hot, Hot) and what does she choose to wear?...Sweats and black socks! Really?? The scene I would have been interested in hearing about is the one in which Ryan Burns opens the door to greet Jodi. I can't imagine what she must have looked like

I think the zipper on those jogging pants is on the back at the bottom of the leg. Is that right? I've never seen that done on jogging pants.

I missed that one, do tell, someone...

Its a reference to the way that Jodie holds her hands in front of her and stands straight and stiff....Von Trapps did that in the Sound of Music.

Very true, I agree. I just meant that Ashton didn't get to grill Casey like JM gets to drill JA.

I THINK that splotchy towel was due to bleach...a dark towel. Someone correct me, I still have to watch the early days of the Prosecution case.

That may have been Melanie. There was a wonderful picture of Jodi all dressed up for the sound of music in her Jury pose.

And all this time I thought it was Sally Field:

I watched Dateline (courtesy of WS member luv on the last thread. The newsflash moment for me was hearing that Travis did, indeed, go to his bishop to repent and get back on track. I hadn't seen that confirmed anywhere.

When I look at the photos from the day he died, I do not see any pleasure. Travis looks strange, distorted, void of the life force you see in other photos. As far as I know there were no other photos or videos of Arias and Travis' sexual activities. Please let me know if I'm mistaken (I didn't follow this from 08-present).

My *sense* of that day in June is that TA wasn't expecting her, and he wasn't exactly a willing participant in any of the photos. I don't quite know how she pulled it off, but I'm not a bunny boiler psycho-which is probably blinding me to the possibilities.

She had ditched those clothes in her murder garbage bag, tidied herself up in his home , maybe even in the shower with him before she left. I'm sure she showed up at Ryan's fresh as a daisy and ready to grind.

I do think she came prepared for a "costume change" and had her ninja outfit on when she went after him. Sans mask because she wanted Travis to see exactly who was inflicting this anguish on him as he drew his last breaths. She enjoyed it. Evil demon.

I think so too..a once dark towel blotchy from LOTS of bleach.

I have missed a significant part of yesterday's testimony and have still not had time to gp back and watch it. I am really wondering about that photo of Travis in the shower, the one where he looks out and has a very startled expression on his face. It's time stamp is 5:27:18.

Did Juan address this particular photo, and if he did, what was JA's explanation for it? TIA:wave:

Yes and I've turned it in to a verb. As in "she's VonTrapping".
