I am convinced now that the shot was last. Someone posted earlier (not sure who, I've been on here all dang day) that if the bullet casing had bounced or moved, it would have blood on it proving it has rolled or bounced. It didn't. It was on top of a pool of blood. Proof to me that he was shot last because there was already blood on the floor.

never have understood this, the whole act from start to finish took a minute and a half give or take a few seconds, hardly enough time for a pool of blood to dry.

I think Jodi masqueraded as someone who was "cool" with a "friends with benefits" arrangement, but she was actually trading sex for accessibility(to Travis). She could tell sex was his weakness, so she played to that weakness for her benefit. (That discussion during the phone sex call is so disengenuous -- where she says she worried she won't find a returning missionary that's as freaky as she is. Right there she was fishing for compliments and trying to get to imagine a boring sex life without Jodi.

I think she was trying to plant a seed into his head that if he did not chose her to marry, he would be limited to vanilla missionary position sex the rest of his life. She hoped to sway his interest into seeing her as the perfect package for long-term. She was desperately trying to win him over in an insidious way.

But I bet she sure would enjoy sending LE on a hunt for the fictitious spot where she dumped the gun.

I think it was in the first phonecall with Flores that she said "did you find the weapon." The only reason she would ask that is if she knew it was gone never to be found. And the knife went with it. No way did she leave it behind.

Had a question about the weapons. Didn't she make phone calls when she stopped in the desert? Wouldn't they have a ping location from those?

And was there a knife in the dishwasher and did it match the stab wounds?

TIA

When JM brought that up JA denied that happened and was going to say something but JA cut her off and changed the subject. I'm still wanting to know what she was going to say. Anyone have a guess?

It doesn't need to dry. If the shot comes last and the casing lands on a pool of blood, bingo. If it had been kicked, there would be blood all over it.

A lie?

I'm surprised about that too. Why not take the camera with her and dispose of it? She's an idiot to the enth degree.

I think it got mixed in with the bloody laundry when she gathered it up by mistake.

Act of God.

Would someone be so kind as to point me to where I can see/watch the emails/texts from Travis that tell her she's nuts? :please: TIA
Have had internet problems & am trying to catch up.

Awe thanks! I wasn't looking for sympathy but I was feeling a little sorry for myself. So many questions and few to be acknowledged. But that's what happens on fast moving threads. I should know that after being here for 1300 years.

And thanks a lot, jerk, for proving me wrong on that picture. ;)

You don't look that old. :floorlaugh:

Except for the fact that she poured 4 inches of water all over the bathroom floor.

Perhaps there were "pings", but you are putting a Lot of faith in the word of a pernicious liar. "If Jodi is telling the truth, we can look here?"

I don't know what they found. She "might" have put it in or it could have been another time (she thinks).

She took the knife with her. She was hoping it would look like a 2-man job, so since the gun had to go, the knife went with it. ( But Jodi DOES have a history of using household appliances to cover her tracks and destroy evidence.

Thanks. The angle of the wound and him sitting in the bathtub at the beginning of the photo sequence ... seems like she shot him in the head first. The wound was not fatal and wouldn't have incapacitated him, but he would have gotten out of the shower. While standing over the sink, spitting/choking blood, it would be easy for her to stab him in the back and in the back of the head. That probably landed him on his knees while spinning around to stop her ... so they both landed on the floor. At that point it becomes a blur, not a fog. He starts crawling down the hallway to get away from her and she continues to stab him until she almost cuts off his head at the end of the hallway. There is no way that this was self defense. Then she drags him down the hallway to run the shower over his bloody body.

The prosecutor asked if she cried when she slit his throat. I think we can be confident that she did not. She should be housed with Austin Sigg. They deserve each other ... looking at each other from the other side of bars and separated from the public by plexiglass.

This is pretty much how I see it happening too otto.

Can you imagine how ticked she was he also got a brand new expensive camera to use with Mimi in one of their 1000 places. I am sure she lusted after the camera too.

Think the theory is that if she shot first, casing is ejected and then she butchers him the casing would gotten cast off spatter- esp if you consider that she splashed water to clean up. The casing is clean and sitting on top of blood bc it was the last thing.

Could be wrong, but with so much blood loss it would unlikely. The pool was all dried up after so many days.

All of the stolen items were what I would call big ticket items for pawning. She could have pawned them in the areas where she made those deposits.

Why would she go and make a paper trail, for a dvd player, how much is that worth, mahybe 20 dollars. That is not a big ticket item.
