I thought the pants she was wearing in court when she had to stand up were strange if not ugly as sin. Couldn't decide if they were pajama pants or what they were.

Is it me or does anyone else think it's odd that JA arrived, TA was up, he talked about or wanted sex, she tells him she's tired and he says

Okie dokey we will just go to sleep????

Just does not seem to fit with all the other sex stuff we have heard about.

I wonder if she even arrived when she says she did. can't remember if there is any evidence she in fact did arrive around 4 am, or he was already in bed and it was she who was on his computer.

I think when she got there she parked her rental car in the cul-de-sac where she parked her U-Haul previously rather than in the driveway. I do think she arrived there at 4am and managed to enter his house undetected and saw what he was watching on the computer. She mentioned that his dog did not bark when she arrived which makes me think she never entered his office. I do not think they watched the videos together either. On the computer analysts report the videos in question were somehow connected to Deanna Hall's you-tube account in some way so I doubt that TA would have been sharing them with the green-eyed monster of jealousy, Jodi.

I think she left and then waited until his roommate left and she was sure TA was asleep before she re-entered the house. I read something (can't remember where now) that made reference to TA saying that JA would break into his house and wake him up by performing sex acts on him. I think that is what happened the day of the murder. I am not 100% convinced that they had sex beyond that initial awaking. In the only two photos of TA naked that we have seen he looks asleep in one, and surprised in the other which makes me think that he may not have realized that JA was taking pictures of him. I would have to see photos of them in an actual sex act to believe that he was a totally willing and eager partner. I'll explain a little more further down why I think that.

I absolutely doubt her story of having sex on his desk in his office because if you look at the crime scene photos there is nothing disturbed on the desk and nothing has been pushed aside or out of the way to allow enough room for what she said happened. It also appears that TA's computer or laptop may have been removed from the desk before the pictures were taken which would mean there was even less room on the desk at the time of the supposed sex act.

I think she went there to murder TA and get revenge because he was cutting her out of his life completely.. If you read TA's blog post for May 18th it is quite clear that he had a serious change of heart about what he wants out of life and what type of person he was trying to be and was going back to honoring the teachings of his religion. It was clear to me after reading it that there was no place or desire to have JA in his life any longer even over the phone. IIRC remember that is around the time that JA sent him that rambling email about realizing that they shouldn't be together (another lie) and was all sweet and understanding about it. It was the one where she started out upset that TA had not given JA credit for her supposed work on his blog/book like he did with another girl. I think JA did something shortly after that to get back at TA which is evident in their texts on May 26th. He was definitely very upset with her and told her she sociopath and other things. I believe these things are what finally sent JA over the edge and on the path to take TA life. JMO

Not exactly. She drops the camera, he body slams her, she miraculously rolls away, gets past him, goes down the hall, turn into the closet, slams door, runs to shelf/gun as Travis enters closet, she backs into bathroom and he does the flying nun leap into her causing the gun to go off...

Oh, yeah...I bad! ha! She has my brain scrambled!! :floorlaugh:

Back to the closet scenario...I already discussed how the shelf would have tipped had she stepped on the edge of it but also, Travis was supposedly shot and then chased her into the closet. Where was the blood in the closet? Neat and tidy closet. No blood, meticulous shelves. Hopefully Juan will go step by step through all of this in his closing.

Shot was after running through the closet BACK to the bathroom. therefore, no blood there.

As to the shower shots...the lighting in the photos to me tells more. The light is good for the posed ones and dim for the others which looks to prove that he didn't know she was taking them. She took them without the flash which would alert him to her being there and the noise of the water kept him from hearing the shutter.

Bloody watermark on the boxes. I'm sure someone has pics handy. :)

Lizard, that is due to "wicking" up the cardboard. If you have a flooded area with just 1/8" of water, it can wick up like that. That diesn't imply the water was that deep in the least on that bloody box in the linen closet :moo:

Of many guns, only the 25mm was stolen, a DVD player, 30-40 dollars from JAs room. There may be more that I've forgotten. It was a really lame robbery.

IIRC, the investigating officer considered it suspicious and possibly staged at the time he took the report. What I'm not clear about is who exactly made the report and who gave statements to police?

I've read there are quite a few questions from the jury in the basket for JA.
I'm already imagining the laborious, convoluted, mess of answers JA will try to reply to that poor jury with.

The jury has sat there listening to how near impossible it is to get a straight answer to EVERY question that Juan has asked this evil creature.
How JA twists & turns the questions ... Never able to give a straight-up yes/no answer to even the most basic question.

She pulls this baloney with the jury questions ... They're going to realize even more than than do already - just what a huge evasive liar that JA is.

Wonder if JA will say to a juror question (like she's said to Juan) ... "my brain
gets scrambled when people like you ask me questions"
Yeah, this should be interesting.

Nurmi's been able to in part prepare JA ahead of time for the line of questioning that
Juan would likely ask. Not so for the jury questions though - she's really gonna have to think on the fly (or go directly to her "I don't know, it's all a fog for me").
Wonder what the process is ... Can Nurmi sit over there picking his nose and yelling "arguementative" or "defendants already answered that question".

Be afraid Jodi ... Be very afraid.

Hi All
I am new here and had to sign up because of this case. If you listen to the sex call when she is talking about finding somebody freaky - just before that she says well someday we will both re-marry! She did not say marry that I can tell. I have not seen anybody mention this but I am sure they have or I am just crazy!! It is located at 27.20 on the youtube for the sex call. I would link it if I knew how. I will learn and get better. Just another very strange little tidbit regarding this case.

:welcome: TexasLady! :seeya: (and isn't Hi Y'all in Texas?) :floorlaugh:

Welcome Texas Lady! :Welcome1: :greetings:

I would like to listen to that again if you can link to it. The way I link in Youtube is to click on my browser address bar and copy the address, then I just paste it into my post. It always works well for me.

Stop that! I already feel guilty for changing your mind earlier... I think my post was left behind (threads changed quickly this time!)... but your avatar makes me feel like apologizing for anything. hehe...

I didn't answer yet because I don't know exactly without looking it up. I know the .25 was stolen, $30 on JA's desk or dresser, some sort of portable stereo or DVD player... that's all I remember.

There were signs of forced entry iIrc, and while the small pistol was stolen, LE considered the burglary 'suspect' because it was the ONLY gun stolen, yet there were 3-4 other (better) guns in the cabinet right next to the .25. On top of that cabinet was a huge pile of quarters - and they weren't touched (covered with dust).

JA arrived at the house when the police were there, and told 2 stories about her laptop. One: (this one the responding officer testified to early on in the trial - you can look it up and watch it if you want to!) - that she cleverly and conveniently 'hid' her laptop under clothes in a hamper on her floor... 'just in case' someone decided to break in and rob the house. Two: (she testified to herself 2 days ago) that she had her laptop with her - and *always* had her laptop with her, basically dismissing the prior story and what she apparently told to police.

IIrc, I think the policeman testified that she showed him the hidden laptop under clothes. I seem to recall seeing a photo, too, but keep forgetting to try to find it. We did see police photos of the house and 'crime scenes' (gun case, etc.) in various rooms... but I'm not sure where they would be - except in the video of the trial during that testimony. It was one of the first few days of trial, I *think*. I'm not sure...

That's all I can give you off the top of my head.

HTH! :)

The police officer testified that there were no signs of forced entry which was another reason he did not believe that it was a burglary.

Good point about no significant blood in the closet, although i think there were sock prints leading into the closet. I guess Travis did not bleed from being shot in the head?

She sure did put an emphasis on the head turn in her reenactment of his linebacker attack. I got a good chuckle. She just couldn't shut her trap and get on with it. Standing there in her baggy pants. Thought she would take a stumble on them. What a horrible actress. Truly a pathetic moment.

Every head wound I've ever seen even very small ones bleed a lot so I don't buy that it didn't bleed unless he was dead already.

I was going to say perhaps worth a happy meal.

Speaking of happy meals, remember during the FCA trial, every morning without fail Beach (a biggie here person for you new members!) would put out a morning buffet for us all. We need to do that, then again, might be changes these days where that is discouraged.

Anyhoo, I again think that the defense did a good job for the prosecution this week with Jodie on the stand as the defense pretty much proved more towards not being self defense. BRING IN THE EXPERTS.......yawn.....I hate hate listening to defense experts.......and we'll have our own grief lady for this trial, or their version of Spitz. :banghead:

The .25 gun, $30, a DVD player and a stereo of some sort were the only things reported missing. They left 3 rifles in the gun case and other valuables and money too. I guess it was a very selective burglar. :floorlaugh:

I'm surprised about that too. Why not take the camera with her and dispose of it? She's an idiot to the enth degree.

She wanted to dis-associate herself from the murder ... how better than to stage the scene to appear like a lunatic attack (and cover the camera evidence by deleting photos, pouring chlorox on the camera, and running the wash cycle) - a la Hitchcock shower scene. It sounds like she more or less broke into the house in the middle of the night, surprised Travis - who was agreeable to crazy sex, then she murdered Travis, and vanished into the night with all sorts of cover-ups in evidence. I keep thinking of Little Red Riding Hood with the idea that she expects people to believe that she acted in self defense ... how big your mouth is, grandma.

"No, I don't believe that is my blood. My finger was not bleeding."

Um, yes, it was.

No I think if he was selective he would have selected another house from appearance.
