I wish that when she said the closet was bigger than the cell she lived in that JM would have asked her if her cell was bigger than Travis' casket.

Not sure if this has been discussed (I try to catch up at night from all the day's discussions but I miss stuff)....

The hearing after trial on Thursday about the closed door session on 2/20. I thought I heard the judge state the court may decide at a later date when to unseal them and then she (or Nurmi?) said something about IF they are ever unsealed as they are so prejudicial? What could it possibly be? Any speculation here?

AFAIK it has to do with the forged letters.

Her chasing him into the closet makes much more sense when it comes to why in her scenario she didn't just run out of the bedroom to get away from him. Bet she jumped on his back, stabbed those nine (?) times and then slit his neck.

I would imagine that one of the hardest parts for her would have been getting him back into the shower.

I don't see how she did it! Limp dead weight... but she really barely got him in there.
If she had been smart she would have just used the fetal position.
But as we have said she washed him and that position wouldn't have removed her DNA .

Frankly, this is getting even more horrifying for Travis as if it could be more horrifying. Makes me want to drive to Arizona and stab her myself. What a wicked wicked wench.

IMO she would have had a much better chance at pleading not guilty by reason of insanity (not that I believe it, but it's a lot more believable than the story she's going with).

After the murder ...

How did JA get all of the bloody+drenched items from the master bedroom
to the washing machine without a single drip of blood on the carpet? TIA

Now you know what it feels like sitting in the courtroom....holding a straight face.

I totally agree...because she looks insane even though she's not in a legal sense.

ITA! I bet she's back to having the little side ponytail going on again Monday! It's going to be plainly obvious to the jury when she goes right back to being cooperative and responsive to Nurmi. I bet her memory improves by Monday too!

I personally wish she would show up in braids one day! :floorlaugh:

I agree though, her demeanor and appearance will be competely different on Monday. I've been watching Dateline and Anderson Cooper and other video clips from the trial and it is fascinating (in a very sick way) how she pulls off so many different demeanors - I was just watching the first day she was called to the stand with Nurmi - her teeny little voice, side pony, and short sleeved black shirt, looking as young and innocent and abused as she possibly could, saying "yes I killed Travis" ...."the simple reason is he attacked me". Her acting skills leave a lot to be desired, she is pathetically fake.

It never ceases to amaze me how she can change demeanor in a manner of minutes - from embarrassed to cocky to sad to abused victim to snarky to argumentative to combative to smirky to smiley (especially when regaling us with how much she enjoyed her sexual encounters). Jodi is unbelievably evil. :banghead::jail:

Good thing she didn't do that. More chances of not getting fried. Bet she was convinced that her stupid battered woman, sex slave idea was going to work for sure.

Maybe a garbage bag she brought?

Good question.

In that plastic garbage bag she packed in her trusty killer kit?

Premeditation. She did not want to ruin her shoes. If she had put shoes on to load the car why would she remove them????
Exactly...

But more curious to me is WHY mention that she didn't have shoes on...couldn't
find them...in her direct testimony?

Why mention something like that...if no one has ever asked anything about it?
Like I said she never says anything without calculation, therefore she made that statement for a reason, IMO...
Is she trying something preemptive...just in case......of something?

taken as a measure against something possible, anticipated, or feared; preventive; deterrent: a preemptive tactic against a ruthless business rival

Am I in jodi thought process overload?

She might have had a better chance of something less than 1st degree if she had told the truth!
She would have had to admit she was obsessed with him and his last email set her off.
That she was going to try and convince him to go to Cancel and he said NO!
THEN she snapped.... but she still brought a gun and made sure there was no paper trail so.... uhh... :nevermind:

I've imagined that many times just looking at Travis's sisters. Her brother always looks completely enraged like he's going to jump over the barrier and go after her.

Her father hasn't been in court for a while? I think I only saw him in the beginning. I get pissed looking at her mother and aunt. Especially the aunt. Something about her demeanor looks very wrong. Been dying to know why she wears those headset things in her ears. Is she deaf or doesn't speak English?

Well, I am pretty sure I saw a picture of the crime scene of photos of the stairs with little blood drops, so I don't think it was completley clean.

But we see the swipes of blood on the walls, where you can clearly see that some bloody fabric was wiped against them. I am not sure exactly where those pictures are taken though. Just that a wall was smeared with blood.

You can wring out the towel so it's not dripping, but still wet enough with blood to make those marks. Plus eventually she put on his shower shoes, that were left just off the bloody carpet area, IMO. My feeling is that she kicked them off before heading back through the blood, and then slipped them back on when she walked out of it so not to track blood anywhere else.

Have they shown that blood was found in those shoes but not under them?

To me it seems JM has cleared TA name, has proven JA story of self defense is BS, and has shown premeditation, but I think he needs to focus on her motive some more still.
