While I find talking about what actually may have occurred that day interesting... IMO it doesn't make a darn bit of difference as to the verdict.

It's guilty of murder in the first degree, sentence is death. That's the way I would vote.

I'd like to know why she kept calling police, calling his friends, going to memorials, etc.

She didn't have to do any of that, and she shouldn't have done it.

Well, if she hadn't, she would have cast additional suspiciousness over her potential involvement. She gained at least three bits of gratification from doing so..people expected her to show up (helping dispel rumors, because who does that), and she relished in the role of the ex-g/f in front of friends and gather intel at the same time.

They might as well re-write the DSM-V. Are we even up to 5?

Thanks, I know it isn't much compared to what others have been through on here but I thought I'd mention it because she really reminds me of him and because of that, I'll never believe her abuse claims.

My thoughts on the camera. I think she took them on Travis' camera with the intentions of taking the camera. After the murder she really couldn't because she had cut her hand and there was his and her blood all over it. I think she connected to her computer and uploaded them on her machine so she could still have the photos becuase she wanted the momento of her handy work to look at later. Then she deleted all the photos after she got her copies and then put it in the washer with bleach to get rid of her DNA and all the blood. After she returned home those pictures are saved on a card and erased off her computer. I think there is a card hidden somewhere that if she gets out she will retrieve. JMHO

Flores' investigation reports show last email activity on TA's computer at 16:19 on 06/04/08. See StepanieHart posted link a page or so back. It's in there. Does that jibe?

Okay, JA (liar) said they slept and when Travis woke up about 1:30 they had sex. Did they have sex till 5pm and if not, what did they do for the remainder of that time?

Travis sent a text message from his phone to Chris Hughes at 1213 so he was obviously awake before JA said he was. Also he had removed his watch and ring near the kitchen sink and moved all the chairs and stuff downstairs that day to clean an area of the floor with the new machine he had bought. Chairs and stuff were never put back in place by him. His laptop was last used at 1619 (4.19) for email activity. About 20 minutes later he was in the shower.

The things Jodi does reminds me of him. Finding ways to insert herself into his life. Keeping her things at his house so she has reasons to show up to get them, borrowing money and cars so she had reasons to see him. When she wanted to switch cars and he hitched a ride with friends and told her to let him know when she made the switch, it really seemed like he knew she was trying to see him and was avoiding her. Then she didn't get the car...probably because she didn't want the car, she wanted an excuse to see him.

And, let's not forget the text messages she "accidentally" texted to him, that was supposedly meant for another guy. I don't believe that story for one second. She wanted a reason to talk to him, and maybe get under his skin a little bit at the same time.

Thank you so much for sharing your story with us. It has always struck me that, when a man is abusive to a woman, and wants her back, he does a lot of begging and pleading for another chance. There is no evidence that Travis did any of that, but quite the opposite. All we have is her word that he "guilted" her into coming to see him, which I feel like was likely the other way around, if anything. It's as if she is projecting her actions onto him when she is the truth culprit.

One might think that, but in truth because they do not experience human emotion the way normal people do, a normal person really can't anticipate what they are capable of, or how they will react in a given situation. Sometimes if they think that you have figured out their patterns then they will deliberately change them so that they always have the upper hand. Jodi was much, much more than just a mere con-artist.

No, I am talking about the psychopath, and I am talking from personal experience dealing with one. I know I was able to start anticipating certain patterns and behaviors.

Emotions may be lacking, and what they do seems more like a mechanism, IMO. During that time though, I had no idea what I was dealing with and had very little knowledge that there were people like that out there.

Yes, you are right when you say just when you think you got them figured and can predict them, they change it. So true! Keeping you constantly off balance is how they can get away with so much. With the stalking psychopath, the stalking and constant calls wear you down too.

No contact is the only way to keep them out of your life.

I really don't understand why there is any resistance to the idea that they had sex that day. It doesn't make him any less a victim. That he had a sexual weakness for her is well documented and confirmed by his own words on the phone sex tape.

I personally don't have a resistance to it and certainly don't think it makes him less of a victim. I just believe that the photos of him seemed to be somewhat stalkish, and the photos of her seem staged. There is not one photo of them together. I think that after he said the things he did to her in that email, I believe he was DONE with her for good. I just believe that this is one of the many factors that caused her rage that day. The phone sex tape was a few weeks before the email where he told her it was done. I just find it more likely that they did not have sex that day than they did. It isn't anything earth shattering, but I am entitled to my opinion and it doesn't have to be accepted or understood by anyone really.
