I was chocked, strangled, during a DV incident. First of all, I RAN from my abuser and called 911. Although I got scared when the police arrived and tried to stand by him, I took pictures! You do take pictures no matter what. BTW, I didn't pass out as she "claims" so mine would be less of an assault in the "Arias world". There in NO amount of make-up that would cover the marks...EVER! She is a liar! :twocents:

The psychologist on NG tonight likely didn't know the details of Jodi's life. Jodi is a parasite and not a sad puppy who has experienced so much loss in her life and self-esteem problems that she abandonment issues. She was not attached to Darryl evidenced by her dumping him when his house became "upside down" (mortgage). She also dumped his child whom she interacted/lived with for four years. She detached herself from them immediately. She was having sex with Travis within 72 hours of meeting him.

And she was making out with the next guy with in 24 hrs of killing TA.

Maybe she thinks so highly of herself that she was CERTAIN that she could convince everyone that she had to be innocent and the flowers/letter were part of her plan to "outsmart" everyone?

I have the hardest time figuring JA out. When you print a list like this, I think, well, of course, that's her. But then I read a description of Borderline Personality Disorder, and that sounds like her too. The same for Sociopath/Psychopath. Can she be bits and pieces of all three?

Yes! She is very warped. Very few psych patients receive only one diagnosis.

They create a false dichotomy, use haphazard, unscientific "polling" and insult women round the world, all for ratings. I'm offended. They reinforce the stereotype that women are not critical thinkers, but, rather, are emotional and sentimental, and therefore unreasonable. When a Jury goes home such as this one and they have TV's I know they are instructed not to watch TV, no computer, or rather no coverage of the trial... there is no way to check that, it is on the honor system right? I hope

I think it is simply the honor system... but your question makes me curious about something else regarding this:

There is no admonition that the jurors not watch, read hear or otherwise learn about or discuss OTHER true crime documentaries - many of which these days seem awfully similar to some aspects of this case - especially the one about women who kill. Perhaps they would self-regulate and stay away from anything related to similar crimes/events/documentaries, etc., but there are a couple that prove a small woman can kill a much larger man, or portray similar psychopathy (in women), etc.

Just made me wonder about the juror's curiosity and what they themselves might feel free to learn or see... even things about forensics - they can't research THIS case, it must be implied that they can't look into any case or related issue as a matter of course.

I wonder what is going through their minds...

That is so true. After this case, JM will need major destressing. Dealing with someone like this is exhausting and always tends to get the best of you. He is treading in dangerous waters. I am not sure he is aware of it.

Sorry, I disagree. I think he knows EXACTLY what he's dealing with, and that he'll be able to adapt his questioning accordingly. This is only the second day of his cross, and Nurmi has been pretty successful in limiting his time (not to mention the ridiculous court schedule). I don't think that JM is in any way blindsided by this defendant. He knows without question what she is.

FYI, "Regan" (or "Reagan") was the name of the young girl who became possessed by the Devil in "The Exorcist".

I'm going back through Jodi on the tapes and she talks about children names and says Hinkley, Megan and Reagan. John Hinkley shot President Ronald Reagan in 1981

Reagan can also be spelled Regan, which ironically is the name of the character who was possessed in "The Exorcist".

Hinckley could be after Gordon Hinckley, president of the Mormon church (now deceased).

I wonder also. And I really think even if they did sneak a peek at all the talk about the trial, they can still come to the fair conclusion on their own based on the merits of the case.
