He sounds too smart to be a Dolphins fan. :waitasec:

:laughcry:

I think it makes sense, but he couldn't explain it well enough in the minute or less he was given. I think JA would rather have him dead than have any other woman get him. If he's dead she's not gonna get him, but neither will anyone else. I think it finally sank in that he had no interest in marrying her so if he's gonna cut her out of his life. She's gonna make sure he's not a distraction for her.

Thank God!

Did anyone else find it odd that she said this was the first person she'd ever killed? Does that make you think she's killed before or was planning to kill again or it's just meaningless?

I think she has thought about killing people before.

Because Travis liked the name Iris for a girls name... not sure about the "20" maybe she thought she only stabbed him twenty times.

OMG. I think you may have nailed it. I bet she tried to count the number of times she stabbed him. I bet she was going for 20 exactly and then sent the IRIS flowers in that exact amount as another way to harm his family.

She is pure evil and she thinks of these sort of things.

Narcissists must always be in control. Jodi is a definitely a narcissist.
Narcissistic personality disorder:
• Are self-centered and boastful
• Seek constant attention and admiration
• Consider themselves better than others
• Exaggerate their talents and achievements
• Believe that they are entitled to special treatment
• Are easily hurt but may not show it
• Set unrealistic goals
• May take advantage of others to achieve their goals
Other common traits of narcissistic personality disorder include the following:
• Preoccupation with fantasies that focus on unlimited success, power, intelligence, beauty, or love
• Belief that he or she is "special" and unique, and can only be understood by other special people
• Expectation that others will automatically go along with what he or she wants
• Inability to recognize or identify with the feelings, needs, and viewpoints of others
• Envy of others or a belief that others are envious of him or her
• Hypersensitivity to insults (real or imagined), criticism, or defeat, possibly reacting with rage, shame, and humiliation
• Arrogant behavior and/or attitude

JM needs to hone in on the murder and coverup. The volleying is tiresome and only humanizing her as an underdog.

IMO, the jury will not remember Jodi's nonsensical ranting about total BS during direct. They will only remember her being 'picked on'.

I don't think she is, but I have the benefit of internet and tv discussion. The jury doesn't.

Juan needs to do what he does best........be himself ........the same way he has been trying cases for over three decades.

He knows exactly what he is doing. No one needs to tell a highly seasoned Prosecutor what to do or how to do it, imo.

Jean said the jury isnt even looking at Jodi...they are concentrated on Juan just like he needs them to be.

She also said it is far different in the courtroom than watching it on tv and they are busy taking notes and listening to him.

IMO

Love Sack. Love Sack. Love sack.
Is this some regional term for what most people call a BEAN BAG CHAIR ??

Never heard the term love sack in my life ... JA seems to relish mentioning all the "grinding" she was into, and "No we weren't in bed - we were in a Love Sack".

Errrgh!!
Enough of this evil murdering low life.
Time for a Valium ... She's worn on my last nerve today.

If I have to hear about one more love sack encounter I will barf.

Now that makes me think of music and the B=52s, lol.

"the love sack is a little ole place where we can get to geeeeeeeeeeeeetheeeer, love sack baby"

What is it indeed about this trial?

Have I mentioned yet today how very much I revile this woman.

My gut tells me the jury will find her Guilty of 1st degree murder. The judge will assess the Penalty at Death by lethal injection.

It will be her first death sentence given. Her reasoning will be dramatic and she will reveal she believes she killed him in cold blood, intricately planning his murder and brutally nearly dismembering him and stuffing him in the shower in a rage killing she has never seen the likes of.

She is not buying a second of this.

When you ask it that way, I don't know what to say. It is a really odd remark. I'd certainly say she does not see killing as all that bad, as long as she can excuse it in her own mind. My guess is we caught her at the beginning of her career.

Hopefully.

If you are a woman and you don't believe Arias raise your hand (I would thank this to raise my hand it I could!)

Also heard on JVM that Martinez is going down the path of Jeff Ashton and how Baez took the wind out of those sails with the assertion "Caylee wasn't missing", etc, etc.

Therefore, another thing that I cannot understand is why the continual comparisons to that case? Travis was obviously murdered, and his body was stuffed in the shower of his home. JA is asserting it was self-defense. There is no question how Travis died or who killed him.

:furious:

The testimony about the flowers she sent made my freakin' skin crawl. She is so damned creepy that she doesn't even GET how completely creepy that was.

Can you imagine what she wrote in that 18 page letter to his family...

When a Jury goes home such as this one and they have TV's I know they are instructed not to watch TV, no computer, or rather no coverage of the trial... there is no way to check that, it is on the honor system right? I hope

Honor system ... I'm sure the last thing they want to hear when they leave court is more about that defendant.

That guy was right. He said the only way she could control travis was if he was dead. That's why she's so at peace with this and has been since the minute she knew he was dead.
We will have to agree to disagree. Jodi is a narcissist and psychopath aka a monster. She is not a sad little puppy that is afraid of abandonment. Remember that she dumped Darryl (lived with him 4 years) at the first sign that he had financial problems. (She never attached to him because she CAN'T attach to anyone. She only loves herself.) She planned to kill Travis because he had the "audacity" to insult/reject her. Nobody is allowed to insult a narcissist without experiencing some form of punishment.

i don't believe her at all. why would he say that if it weren't true? he's mormom, he's married to someone else now. so why would he cop to that if it didn't happen?

i think she wanted that encounter to sound a little romantic and not sexual. she knows how that makes her look---like the monster she is. that's why she's acting all butt hurt that he said that. but i believe him.
She was more angry/upset about that incident that almost anything else she's testified to!

Pensfan, I forgot you worked in the field. :blushing: You know a hell of a lot more than I do.

We're back. That was...delightful.
Kitty must be bathed every week or every other week at the most, or she starts to smell like corn chips. Literally.

What the hell are you feeding that cat? :what:

wow, I think a WS member emailed NG to tell her to suggest that JM replay JA interview with Flores where she says in response to JA owning a gun "Not to my knowledge"

Could sear I heard that come up in here earlier today.

Good on ya.

You guys,

I don't know why no one believes this... but those HLN shows (NG, JVM, DD) do whatever it takes to get RATINGS! RATINGS = Advertising $$$$. This is the only thing they care about.

So they put on guests and give them 'sides' to take in order to create controversy. It's true. It's really true! Sometimes what a talking head will say doesn't even make sense in the context, but it's controversial and controversy sells.

You're seeing a 'fake' show each and every night, manufactured to rile up as many people as possible to get people watching and...increase those RATINGS!

And every time someone tunes in and falls for it, HLN wins.
