I've never seen such a compelling prosecutor IRL. After reading books by Vincent Bugliosi, and how he approached his cases-I think JM is cut from the same dedicated, brilliant cloth. Absolutely stunning handling of the creature on the stand.

She has said "Travis would edify me in a good light" or something like that when referring to Travis speaking at her funeral.

She said "don't edify me as a blond" when she wanted to be thought of as a brunette.

And she said something about "edify me" to a text message to Ryan. And I think there have been other times she has used the word.

Her various usages of "edify" actually had me wondering if I have misunderstood the meaning of the word for my entire life. So I looked it up to check, and no, I have not misunderstood its meaning - Jodi is using the word incorrectly. She thinks "edify" means to describe, but it doesn't.

She also doesn't know the meaning of the word "ironic."

IMO this is something psychopaths do a lot - their word usage is bizarre and nonsensical.

Just like her misuse of "flourishing", as in "he flourished on...". Like someone who likes to use big words to sound educated.
