:blushing: I have. And ended up breaking an engagement over it. Red Flags of him online in middle of night (he was chatting) led me to sleuth him........ and then dump him. :blushing: and yep.........on my way out the door, I let the girl that he was seeing know that we had been living together, and what was happening on my end. I know that many many think that doing such is an invasion of privacy, but I'll be d*(*ed if I get into a marriage with someone like that. (And the man.....lied through his teeth)... Nope, I didn't kill him......just moved on.

Don't throw rotten apples please!

Yeah, but you didn't brutally kill another boyfriend down the line. I think the context of the killing is important simply because it shows that her actions didn't stop at the invasion of privacy they kept evolving until she killed TA. Many of us have checked out an email, text, phone records or whatever when we've suspected someone of cheating on us, but I doubt we've all suspected it with every relationship nor do we eventually kill a SO.

Why didn't Nurmi pull a candy bar out of his pocket (you know he has candy somewhere) and give it to looooong-suffering, starving JA? Pffffffft!

JM established that she is a stalker from age 17.

Got her to say that she "always tells the truth".

Implied that she was the faciitator of anal sex with Travis, or at the very least, enabled it in a progressive way with the KY. And that indeed, anal sex happened for her way before Travis.

That she hacked into her putative boyfirends" personal stuff and felt justified to do it.

Question?
When do y'all think the whole trial will wrap up ? A month? Two months? A year! Never?

  • #405
I sense she is so suffocating to the guys that they run for the hills. She seems controlling, possessive, jealous, etc. It doesnt take them long to figure out she is unreasonably jealous for no good reason. I am sure she showed her jealous tendencies right away. She is probably one of those people that would get jealous even if a guy made an innocent glance at another woman.

In fact, I know she is. Remember the story when Travis had to hold up the drunk girl from falling down. Jodi freaked out and that story sounded innocent.

BBM

I agree. IMHO, I think she believed getting her "freak on" would keep the men indeared to her, but when the thrill of it was gone (on the man's part), or her possessiveness became too overwhelming, she had to start looking for some explanation of why the "he" of the moment was at fault that the relationship wasn't working instead of looking at herself.

There are also men who do the same. My ex not only hacked my accounts but accused me all the time. I never was or did cheat but it was exhausting to continuously feel you're being watched. In the end, he only made me better at concealing things. Like having a separate email accounts I never accessed at home. :)

I hear ya, I can say that my ex husband spent our marriage worrying that I was sneaking around when it was the furthest thought from my mind. He would even question why I had worn "sexy" underwear on a specific day (um, they were the last clean ones in the drawer because laundry needs done), etc

Eventually, after 14 years with the most controlling narcissistic person I have ever known, I did end up having an emotional affair (which in my book is just as bad as physical cheating) and he caught me at it.

Wanna know how? He had our phone line tapped! Apparently had for a long long time.

It became a self fulfilling prophecy.

But in general, if someone, male or female, does this as a regular habit, it is problem.

They are either attracting or attracted to cheaters, or they are driving them to it.

If someone who does not do this as a regular practice does it, it is usually because they have an inkling already that something shady is happening. In that case, they should snoop a bit to confirm and then kick the person to the curb.

But this seems to be a lifelong pattern with JA, and it tells me something. She has never "graduated" to grown up relationships. She remains stuck in Bobby land forever, a perpetually 12 year old girl with an unrequited "love"

Oh goodness, no rotten apples coming your way. IF I lived with a man and he was at this computer and I was doing my hair a few feet away in the bathroom and I happen to overhear something or he was typing away, and then he left the room and I was getting dressed and noticed a chat room window open and a woman sending him heart icons, this is how I would handle it.

I would close the door and lock it so he could not see me. I would quietly scroll to see what the heck that was. And if it was what I thought it was I would act casual...wait for him to go to work and when he returned I would be gone with all my belongings and the best part, I would not tell him why I left. Nope, not a word, never return a call, email or anything else. And if he lived here and did it and it's my house, good luck picking up your belongings on my front lawn and no, I'm not sorry about the sprinklers. (for 6 hrs)

So yes, we are all human.

Got her to say that she "always tells the truth".

She actually said she will always say the truth.
She emphasized the will after JM tried to reiterate the "litany of lies".
I thought it was... interesting.

True... however I feel a female would "tap deeper into" Jodi's inner female (moon) side. I know that sounds weird but they are not at all on the same level and his pounding away like that could be causing the juror to get bored, as I am.

A female prosecutor - like Kelly Siegler? HAHAHAHA!! :) Makes JM look like a veritable cream puff.

I think he's brilliant and I don't see how gender factors in. The state is doing just fine with JM, considering his record - including putting another woman on AZ's DR.

He is focused, determined, passionate and I personally appreciate the fact that he doesn't defer to gender roles by treating the defendant more 'gently' simply because she's female.

Have you seen the autopsy photos that show what she did to this young man? Her prosecution should be relentless and aggressive and there is no one better than JM imv.

  • #411
I think the state would have been better off with a female prosecutor. Juan is too "aggressive" and she is using using this as excuses for HER behaviour.

Yes, but most people have seen with their own eyes and heard with their own ears that Juan is being assertive
not aggressive. Jodi appears not able to give a straight answer, but is lying, rebellious, combative, evasive, glib, backtalks and shoots out insults and orders to everyone including the Judge.

Are you listening to the tv programs and not watching the trial?

Shannon Peterson is on NG right now!

No rotten apples coming from me, but you were in a different situation. You were living with your boyfriend and contemplating marriage. I have no problem with you sleuthing his late night computer activity.

But Jodi and Travis were not even dating anymore, and lived 1000 miles away from each other and she was still snooping/hacking/ trespassing/peeping in on him.

Exactly! As to relating to this case a psychopath does this as standard operating procedure and more. That's just the tip of the iceberg

And she has an emerging pattern of stalking.

I'm feeling lucky that my typical relationship included a man that constantly called me to his computer/laptop or phone and asked me "can you fix this? what did i do here? its all blue now? How do i find mail?"

I'd like to know if his siblings are able to stomach lunch.
Their stress levels have to be through the roof too.

I will say JM needs to wrap it up or her games will continue to escalate.
MOO

Migraine headaches?

Am I the only one who thinks that incisive wounds to the head and the gunshot through the cranium may have hurt Travis's head more than a little?

  • #417
My statement has nothing to do with whether he get a conviction. It is about the flow of the trial. *yawn* the sex talk etc... is BORING.

The "sex talk" is a big part of the case... a big part of her defense... so if it's "boring" I'm sure there are other things people can be doing or watching...

JMO she loves to tease men.

And She follows through.

Maybe they saw at break that the married woman has come forward to dispel what Jodi said and need to rethink things.

Radar online questioned her like 5min after Jodi spewed her name in court.

Can you imagine being that woman and getting that telephone call?

Good grief. Jodi is just randomly lashing out at people now.

The woman was on JVM tonight and said that nothing was ever going on. She's been a friend of Travis for many years, before he moved to Arizona.

I wonder if she's refusing lunch.

I volunteer at a very large county jail in Texas and they have a very early feeding schedule-
Breakfast is served by 4:30am
Lunch is served by 10:30am
Dinner is served by 4:00pm

Inmates going to court are chained up and in the holding cells (area behind the side door in court room) before 7:00am.
They get a sack lunch with 2 meat and cheese sandwiches. If they're still there when its dinner- they get 2 more meat and cheese sandwiches. Oh, the guards pass out paper cups and they get water out of the sink/toilet combo unit. ;)

I do not believe she's missing lunch unless its her personal choice. moo
