It would be a waste of time to be sympathetic, but I fear it may be so. I do have one question, which may have been covered, but it seemed to me that the photos she took of Travis in the shower before her flurry of activity may have been taken by her for her own "trophy" use, as we have seen so many killers do. He may not have initially known she was taking the pics, and when he saw that she was, tried to get the camera, and it may have started the mess. I don't believe he wanted her to be taking his picture, especially if things were over....and tried to stop her. She may have been in the mood to share her pics online, to "prove" she had been with him, which a jealous woman would enjoy doing, or perhaps keep them for trophies.

He got her to ask him what this had to do with things. (She's rude and snarky again.)

She then said that it was a pre-op photo and a medical photo.

(Which once again showed the jury that she's a LIAR. DB took a "medical" photo of her?)

I think she may be quite prepared for testimony with JM about the murder. This is where she has practiced for 4+ years. Her lack of remembering has set a pattern so when she gets to that part, it won't be something new for the jury to hear. She will spin what she does "remember" to the hilt. I would love to see him trip her on when (if) they get to the murder, but I'm not at all sure she won't end up scoring points. She's going to get all "victim" on him. It will be interesting to say the least.

:worms:It is excruciating to watch Juan going over everything again and again, and ask "Right?" at the end of every statement he makes. Yes, I agree, it is terrible that Jodi Arias killed Travis. We know this. Is there good and bad in every person? It doesn't seem so. It seems to me that there are truly some individuals who are so self-serving that there is no redemption. It also seems to me that this defendant is a true pro at self-preservation. I am more interested in what has made her this way....I realize my view will be unpopular, but someone like me may be sitting on that jury, and under this excruciating testimony, personally, I want it to stop. If you have ever been in the box, being hammered by an attorney, you feel a spot of something akin to "PLEASE MAKE THIS STOP!" She's guilty, we know it....let's end it. I think it is somehow merciful for murderers to take their own lives when all is said and done, because it spares us this agony. I understand the need for interrogation, but it's not fun, I don't see how anyone can think she is enjoying this endless recitation. I am afraid that the more Juan goes on and on, asking about each individual statement, he is illiciting the sympathy of a juror. In fact, as this continues, it appears that she grows stronger in the stand, she is NOT breaking under the pressure....(but I am.)

I can understand where you are coming from. At a few points I have even found myself thinking that she takes so much time answering because she wants to get it right.

Then I remember what she did to this guy and I realize that when she talks in circles it's only to benifit herself. The jury is in the courtroom with Travis' family. That has to bring home the fact that she killed him viciously. The testimony about the contact she had with his grandmother afterward mortified me. It gave me chills and interrupted my sleep. It was like her stalking carried over to a grieving family.

I'm happy that Juan has been prefacing many of his questions with...before you murdered Travis, etc to try to show the true victim here. Sadly, Jodi thrives on playing the victim and has had a lot of practice. I hope Juan continues to bring the focus back on the true victim. JMO.

I heard a TH (criminal defense attny) proclaim on HLN or IS that "Jodi is NOT on trial for lying!" Not surprising from a def attny, but he must be worried that JM is impeaching her every lie. One after another!

When thinking about her lunch issues and finally reading the article about the lawyer complaining that his client was out of it in court due to not eating and Arpaio making the statement that if you want to eat when you want then you shouldn't be in jail or something of that nature.
Wouldn't it make sense to have a separate section within the jails for those awaiting trials and sentencing? According to our justice system you are innocent until proven guilty so why not have a bit more leeway to those in that position? Also this would be stop anyone claiming they were so hungry/low blood sugar their court appearances were hampered.

Yeah, funny that. It's not like plastic surgeons don't take before and after pics for one's medical file. Unless, maybe, a surgeon who only charges $300 for the operation, then you may have to take your own photos.

I particularly do not want to hear about a bug she squashed on June 21 of 2005 or a puppy dog whose ears she tugged on, or some boy she chased after school, enough Juan, get out of the MUD, what I do care about is June 4th, 2008, it is a slam dunk case, short of Jodi bringing a film crew along, you have everything and more, Concentrate on her bloody palm print and the crime itself.

We sure do not want the jury saying she lied 47 times and is a bit of a star but I am not sure of the murder.

Jails ARE for those who are detained pretrial. Prisons are for those who have been convicted and sentenced. (except in my small state where they are combined).

Hmmm, I admit it's been awhile but I don't recall the "don't look at fat people" part. I think the concept is correct and right...focus on what you want, think positively and good things will happen. There can be exaggeration in anything, but the power of positive thinking is real. IMO

bbm: as far as i'm aware,(ive watched too many shows about plastic surgery than id care to admit) those photos for comparison are done in the actual drs office not by you/another person at home. bullchit
