Nancy counting out all the stab wounds. I want JM to do this in his closing.

And even in rapid succession as she was counting it took 20 seconds of the less than two minutes JA murdered Travis.

When exactly was there time for everything JA claims Travis did to provoke this "self-defense"?

Had to take a break to cook mr. dood's din-din, but wanted to weigh in on JA's "miracle migraine." BS BS BS. Like some other WSers, I get real migraines and they completely wipe you out. JA's sudden attack of the vapors was a "this-JM-guy-is-giving-me-a-pain-in-the-azz-help-me-Nurmi" quasi-headache to get her out of the line of fire and give the defense time to regroup. Too much heat; get her outta da kitchen! They couldn't be more obvious.

Guys, I think the point folks are tryint o make -myself included- is whether it would be useful to the DT on appeal. And it just might.

If the food issue was grounds for appeal, every inmate ever convicted in this jurisdiction would have been set free by now. I'm not buying the appeal argument.

BBM

The judge in Elizabeth Johnson's trial explained that the mornings are used much of the time for handling sentencing on other cases they've worked on, for hearing pleas and the like - the stuff that should only take a few minutes time to handle for each person.

It's better than abruptly stopping the trial to handle those things at the end of the day. Remember, too, in Maricopa County, for the most part, the courts are dark on Fridays....

I understand that they work on other cases in the early hours of the morning, but these could be moved to the end of the day vs. starting a Capital Murder trial late. A judge could be brought in to handle small cases to ease the load on the trial judge. This is done all the time here. Why would Friday not be a trial day anyway? I'm curious.
Since Jodi's defense is trying to get the trial end time shortened, it would be

I love (not) how she says she doesn't want to ruin anyone's marriage by naming names and in the next millisecond, with a smirk, says "Shannon Crabtree Peterson".

The smirk does me in.

As some talking head pointed out, Jodi is hardly in a position to take the high moral ground over anyone, much less judge them. Does she hope we will all forget what she did and rush off to judge Ms Peterson for talking to Travis on email?

Did Juan get to premeditation this afternoon at all?

If not, tomorrow has to be all about premeditation.

Hate to disagree with you lil_buddy (I usually don't!)...

I think snooping is absolutely toxic to any relationship (including looking in medicine cabinets of friends, etc.)

If you snoop and find something hurtful or secret - you're either stuck with that knowledge or you have to come out with it, proving you're a snoop... so either way - game over. It destroys trust. Period.

If I don't trust someone, I keep my distance. If I'm concerned about my partner - I ask openly. I found out my ex was an obsessive cheater because he left evidence in plain sight. Multiple times. Denied everything.

I have lived with my current housemate for years - I have never looked at his phone, computer (I look away from computer screens unless invited by the person using it to see something), opened any of his office or bedroom drawers...

I believe in simple respect for privacy and manners. And I expect the same back.

I read a post earlier/yesterday in which someone commented that "all women snoop" and that really got me a little frosted.

It is so unhealthy and so disrespectful of the person being snooped on.

When it comes to kids - I made it clear that if they ever gave me a valid reason to snoop on them - in any manner I chose, then I would - and it would be a consequence of their behaviour, thus my concern for their safety or health or whatever. Sometimes their honesty has been unexpectedly difficult, but far better than the alternative.

That's my view, anyway... I know lots of people disagree with me - that's fine as long as they don't snoop on anyone in my world. :)

I want to say that I'm kind of ambivalent on the subject.
It's a slippery slope.
If you're obsessively snooping on someone - that's a problem and you need some help.
On the other hand if you google and search court records for some guy you're falling for - that might be a good idea.
I think hacking is definitely crossing a line.

but by martinez being so aggressive and she isn't cowering like an abuse victim actually worse for her??

I do not see him being aggressive enough, he is so petty, it is like watching two females in a catfight. Juan is going down on Jodi's level, heck Jodi is even wearing the pants, probably not a good idea for her. But Juan should stick to major points and not discussing different colors of blue.

How will JA answer juror questions?? Will the jury have to ask and re-ask to get the answer?

OMG, she will be in all her glory, turning toward them and droning on and on and on and on, like in the 48 Hours interviews, to share her virtues and victim-ness. She'll have their full attention and no interruptions, to talk about "me, me, me, me, me...". She will love it and it will be utterly sickening.

She was married... there's a HUGE difference.

http://radaronline.com/exclusives/2...s-alexander-affair-shannon-crabtree-peterson/

“Travis and I were very good friends,” Shannon explained. “I met him through Pre-Paid Legal and through church too, although we were in different wards and we were not dating.”

Shannon told RadarOnline.com that she and Travis became friends while he was living in California and admitted that they had one romantic encounter.

“I was going through a divorce from an alcoholic, an angry alcoholic, and Travis really helped me get through that. We never dated but we kissed one time

They are very critical tonight. It's easy to be a monday morning quarterback.

We just have to trust that JM knows his Jury and is making sure he is on the same page with them. The talking heads have no way of knowing, they have not been in court with the Jury all day for weeks like JM has.

She was married... there's a HUGE difference.

HUGE difference is right what Jodi was involved in was without doubt one of the biggest sins there is..only second to murder..

There was nothing going on with this innocent woman that this psycho chose to throw under the bus today..we have the word of no one or nothing but a pathological lying psycho claiming there was inappropriate joking emails..

Point being the huge difference is one is a definite big time, very much looked down upon sin and the other is a fabricated lie from a psycho..yep, you're right, HUGE DIFFERENCE!

This food issue is ridiculous!

From a purely financial standpoint, surely it would have to cost less to provide JA with a Subway sandwich for lunch and one for dinner rather than allowing the food issue to dictate what time court must end for the day and risking illness (feigned or otherwise) from occurring. JMO

Again, I think of the jurors and how bent out of shape I would be were I one of them who had put life on hold while this case ever so slowly plugged along - infuriating!

I LOVE JUAN! He has a plan. They've obviously never put a whole jigsaw puzzle together. Jodi is about 1000 pieces, not 10!

I don't see any volunteers to take him on in the next trial! Anybody? Anybody? BRING IT! :great:

She is not missing a beat, has everyone on speed dial, she is hot though!

Oh, is anyone doing a screen video capture?

As usual I am behind....and I'm sure somebody else responded to this (sorry!) Bur YES! I distinctly remember her saying she was at a PPL speech/lecture/brainwashing/meeting when she got the pen*s pic.....

Am I wrong? I thought Jodi said she was working when she got the peni$ photo on her phone. Today she said she was at a dinner with a table of other people.
