People get pulled over because they are speeding period not because of the color of their car. I've had a number of red cars and my insurance rates did not change. If the rates are higher it's due to their driving record. jmo

But they have no idea what is going on. They haven't read the 82,000 text messages and emails, they haven't hand picked the Jury and spent 6 weeks shoulder to shoulder with them, they haven't listened to and analyzed hours of videotape.

Juan has used his soft voice with Jodi during the last two questioning sessions. The two of them were in cahoots this morning discussing Jodi's favorite subject. They were agreeing on almost everything--that Jodi enjoyed the sex and solicited it, that Jodi was no cringing, controlled wallflower. How did he get her to agree to all that? Because he knows her so well, he knows what to do, what to say, how to elicit whatever persona he wants to elicit from her. He knows her cold.

I am waiting for the moment he pulls out of his bag of tricks something that leaves her speechless. It is slowly dawning on her that he might be a little better at this game than she is. I can see it from time to time over the last two sessions in her eyes, the look of a cornered animal.

and wanted to add that if Juan is getting into the weeds with her its because wild, dangerous reptiles hide in the tall grass, and sometimes, to catch one, you gotta wade into thick of it. Its the only way to get the job done.

I've made a resolution for the day-- NO HLN in the Pawprint household. NONE!! Also no In Session. Zip, zero, zilch!

I didn't know you were just talking about JA saying that. I thought you were talking about the subject in more general terms. My post is more general and not talking about JA specifically saying what she did.

I agree that what JA says is offensive to real rape victims, because she's such a liar, etc. I'm a former victim, too. She totally reminds me of the person responsible for that. No, I don't side with JA in the least!

I do try to explain how different things about sex can be a sensitive issue for some people, and I didn't mean my post to sound like you were on the opposite side. I jumped off your post more than I made it sound, probably. Sorry for that, absolutely!!

eta: I don't know where the 'nothing playful about rape' came up, but I don't think it sounds like I said anything like that. Maybe you were speaking generally, too. I get confused and can be confusing, but I think we're on the same side really!

Last week Gus said....the helio phone I bought... err... gave to JA was lost for a couple years until the car was cleaned out and at that point it was found. (not an exact quote and yes he started to say bought for her and then changed it to gave)

I didn't think anything of it...this is Gus after all, but his story matches what JA told and how would he really know this unless it was found in his car.? Just another connection between those two. Anyone know when her phone was lost, time frame?

I don't know, I think maybe she'd enjoy the thought of being made a martyr in some twisted way. LWOP could be too mundane in her view, the true loss of the case. idk, JMO.

Then again, I'm sure her instinct for self-preservation is driving all her lies so. Who even knows.

I want to re-watch the 48Hours segment where she's describing the ninja attack. This time, though, I'll view it through the lens that she's talking about what SHE did to Travis. Gawd, while I was listening to her I got severe chills. What we were hearing was the truth about Travis's last minutes.

I feel the same way about talking to my friends! It's my "dirty little secret."

Yes, I think she believes she is a GODDESS (just like she said on the tape), the ultimate seductress. I think this may be part of the coldness on the part of her defense atty Nurmi and herself (she may have been flirty with him ala CA and Baez but it didn't work). I think she believes she can seduce/flirt/turn on JM and throw him off his game. OR maybe she just wants to turn him on; regardless of what the endgame is, I think she enjoys what she perceives as her sexual power.

It's freaking CREEPY to watch. I am literally gasping out loud watching her. I wonder what the jurors think, if they're seeing this, too!
