I know that Martinez is looking at Travis's family thinking I have to clear Travis's name for this family. I've gotta show the jury and people this girl is the one who manipulated him into betraying his religion. He was a good Mormon before he met this girl.

The thing that boggles my mind about this case is how she is not already in jail for several life sentences. She's already admitted to killing him, basically, changed her story several times, shown herself to be quite deranged. How is she still standing? I know everyone should get their fair trial, but how has it gone on for so long? I thought for sure that the fact that she shot him in the head would be the inconsistency that nailed her. How could you not know that you'd shot someone at that proximity? How can she possibly have her claim of self-defense taken seriously at all when she was the one who'd acted violent towards him from the beginning, and she was the one holding the gun?! :banghead:
