I think that Juan is not using a flow chart or map because using a visual aid would help Jodi. This way, it is easier to catch her in her lies, imo.

I strongly disagree with people who say Nurmi is directing her testimony from the defense table. Such a thing would get him disbarred. You may find him unlivable but he is still a professional. What possible motivation could he have to risk his very livelihood to help a psychopath clearly set on sinking herself?

I see little things just hand movements, or stretching. If it was clear direction, this Judge is looking right at him, I have no doubt she would have stopped this and taken him into chambers.

As a defense attorney I can tell you absolutely not. You are not allowed to do anything that could be considered signaling or coaching the witness. Bad bad bad!!!

Thank you ... I really get the impression that the defense is using all sorts of gestures and bold actions to communicate with her, not only to keep her from being argumentative and combative, but also to indicate that she should agree with the prosecution at times.
