JVM just said on HLN that Jodi had to be embarrassed having to sit in court listening to those phone sex calls being played right there in front of her mother.

Wonder which Jodi she's talking about? (j/k)

Me too. I've been just fascinated watching him. He's so good that even the other atty's can't see what he's doing.

Did anyone here follow the Conrad Murray trial? Prosecutor David Walgren was the most organized, thorough and unemotional prosecutor I have ever seen. He wasn't interrupted with objections from the defense and there were less than a handful of sidebars (if that many).

Just got a summons for jury duty on march 14..I hope the trial is over by then. I would hate to miss her face when she eats her words.

Ok. Here is part of it. In Session interview with Daniele Schreier [sp?].

Interviewer: From a forensic psychology standpoint do you think the prosecutor is posing the questions and the tone of his voice in a particular way when you have a liar, like Jodi Arias, on the stand?

DS: I do think, personally I disagree with many of our ...analysts here.. I think he is perfect for Jodi Arias personality. He triggers her, he's direct in his questioning, he demands respect, and what he brings out is her true personality. She nearly cracked a couple of times on the stand. Remember, we want to look for does the defendant have judgment and good impulse control and also insight and Juan Martinez has actually demonstrated excellently --it might be his personality style, or he might have been coached--that she does not have judgment, that she is very disrespectful at times to him, she does not have any personal insight, she does not take any responsibility, and she doesn't have impulse control because she charged back at him at various times very inappropriately.

For those waiting for the sex testimony to end, just wait until the Dv expert testifies. That is all we will hear. Jodi will really light up then.

OMG, thank you. I have never found anyone that recalls that movie and that particular segment of the trilogy. That show terrified me.

And you are right, once Karen was possessed by the spirit from the carved doll, her sitting there with that butcher knife. Shudder.

Yep JA is just that scary.

Trilogy of Terror(1975) Part 3 - YouTube at the 3:30 mark

sorry for the OT bored waiting for testimony to resume

OMG I just laughed myself silly!!

Never saw that before but that five minutes of agonizing screaming is what I've been doing all week trying to listento Jodi refusing to answer with a simple yes or no.

I made mention of this before---it wasn't so long ago that her lifestyle was considered dieviant....just sayin what two consenting adults do isn't my concern....I voted yes on gay marriage (want to cover all bases--I'm not judging)

It's incredibly tame if you consider what some people do INSIDE consenting relationships where nobody is a victim.

I can't watch her show anymore. I don't know why it is impossible for her to speak in a normal tone, she always has to yell. Lately she's had two very shrill female lawyers on there. And don't get me started on the blonde male defense lawyer.

I am awesome! As soon as court recessed I ran out and shovelled snow, then I came in, dismantled the dishwasher, cleaned the crap away from the drain that was preventing the dirty water from flowing out and leaving the dishes grungy, threw some fixin's on the table so the kids can fix their own lunch, grabbed a cup of coffee and here I am, ready for action!!!

Well, there goes Nurmi under the bus.

All lies and inconsistencies on direct were because of the questions he asked her! :floorlaugh::floorlaugh: :jail:

Is it sad that I panic when there is no court? Of course I'm not watching this trial for entertainment purposes. I want Justice for Travis and this case has grown on me. I'm hooked...

No not at all. I think most of us are in the same boat in how we view this trial... we have become invested. I know that I want it to be everyday, I want court to last all day long, and I really want it to be over and hear the guilty verdict. That's all.

The WS experience is the only positive and it's a HUGE positive. I have trouble comprehending how one evil person can commit this most evil act and cause so much pain and heartache in so many people's lives. Give her attorneys, legal rights, and supporters and the destruction she causes becomes oppressive.
WS is really more of a support group in this case, for me at least.

I don't know why she has to yell either, and I hate all her self aggrandising about rescue animals, and I never need to hear about how she overcame alcoholism ever again either.

I'd probably have a lot more goodwill towards her if she got the facts right and didn't pretend to be shocked by sexcapades you know don't shock her one bit.

A couple of questions for those of you that have been following the trial from the beginning.

1. TA's roomies: She testified they were there when she arrived in the early hours. In their statements were they unaware Travis had company that night?

2. What was the date Travis' body was discovered?

3. I saw Lisa testify during the defense portion, but missed the PA's case. Did Mimi testify? If so, what information regarding Jodi did she give?

Thanks guys.
