When the feed showed the car chase yesterday that was the first thing that came to my mind. That road in itself showed how easy it would be to bury or hide anything easily.

And soak the bloody clothes in gas before burying them, for good measure.

I think Jodi said that she was with her sister at some monastery when she got the call that the house had been "burglarized." Actually, I think it was her sister who got the call.

She also claimed that she was with her sister at the house just before they left for the monastery. Though she indicated to the cop that she had been the last one in the home before it was burglarized.

They were at a Buddhist Temple that Jodi claimed had no cell service and they didn't get the message until after they left. Nancy Grace's people called the temple and they confirmed that they do have cell service. Another lie from Jodi.

Just logging in to say I'm present! :seeya: I know some of you don't watch Nancy Grace but trust me on this, you need to find last night's episode. The difference between a standard "Self-defense" plea vs. a "Self-defense by reason of "Battered Wife Syndrome" was explained in a very simplified way. I've heard and read for days now that some people are not understanding the difference and therefore do not understand why Juan is getting so detailed on the sex part of this trial. They think that he is beating a dead horse and keeping the trial in limbo by drilling her repeatedly on the txts, e-mails and the Dateline interviews. There is a very important reason for this and it has to do with the "Battered Wife Syndrome" that Jodi's defense described in the opening statement. When you are using this type of self-defense plea then the prosecutor has to disprove the "Battered" part of the defense.
It is worth it for some who are confused as to why Juan seems to be fixated on the sexual and physical part of this testimony.

PS: I think that he has expertly covered this and totally disproved it.
