i really think she must believe she's connected with someone on that jury to say such a thing. she knows what it means. nurmi's probably told her it's her best hope so she can lie better next time.

it was mentioned when nurmi claimed it was a body bugg. it's not. what's on his arm is duct tape---or sure looks like it to me. they FOUND duct tape and i haven't heard about this body bugg so i'm assuming it's another defense lie.

I did hear a female friend say he wore one.
I never heard that one was found at his home.
Wonder if she took that to?

I'm still trying to figure out what is the truth behind this rope thing. I was shocked when she admitted she tossed the rope on direct. If she didn't mention rope in the first place, would anyone know anything about a rope?

Is the whole rope thing just a way to get the knife in the upstairs bathroom? Couldn't she have them cutting an apple and having wine and cheese in bed or something instead?

She mentioned it because she heard the forensics had "fibers" from something decorative, or I forget what they said? And she was trying to tailor her story to fit their evidence.. so then she made up that a rope was there

Yes, and that was a beautiful, skillful performance by Juan - with great finesse. He took as long as he needed to take to get Jodi to answer the questions so he could trap her in a double bind. Tedious maybe, but necessary.

BBM. answer--yes. they found some little piece of fringe-y type stuff in the bathroom. he had some decorative pillows. maybe it came from them? but i seriously doubt there was any rope. merely her excuse for a knife being available upstairs.

If Jodi's rope story were true, wouldn't the forensics team have found trace on the bed or floor? Not trying to be all CSI..ish, but it seems impossible to me that someone could cut a rope and there not be trace. Of course Juan easily destroyed her rope story anyway, but I'm curious if her defense team thought of the forensics before they decided the rope story was a go.

When JA was questioned about the rope by Nurmi, what she did with it after she removed it, she said she believes she tossed the rope over by the dresser. I had the same thoughts as Juan, "how the heck does one tie a rope to a sleigh bed"? Unless you wrap it around a time or two, it's going to fall to the floor behind the headboard. Unless she deliberately took it with her when she packed up, it should've still be there when evidence was collected. I say BS to the whole rope theory (lie). She only wished hahaha. And to think Juan's just getting started with her. So much more to come. I have no doubt she's going to the gurney. IMO any jury can see through all her lies, her attempts to cover her she has majorly failed at. :moo:

That line of questioning, and why it took so long I missed what the point was for so long for him to be questioning. When you do a tie up with sleigh bed......it is yes, done around back......not "taut" at either the wrap around or the hands.... usually loose hands so you can slip into to make taut (as differentiated from TIGHT) blush so you can slip into them and do the fantasy. You slip in.....bring hands from full spread eagle to make taut.. (OK, I read books, ok!.........and follow the Bob Bashara bsm case on WS too! lol)
