IMO ~ Jodi cannot stand to have Juan "telling her story" about the details (which she stated she doesn't remember) of Travis' murder. She has unknowingly met her match in a very savvy, educated man named Juan Martinez. Breaking down a Psychopath is an art and Juan is a Master. I ♥ watching him in action ~ he is brilliant!! I'm sure tomorrow is going to be the BIG/Major event that Jodi "can't remember" , and she'll fall right into Juan's Trap of Truth. Tomorrow will seal the deal for Jodi!

I've never seen her look so shaken and almost defeated as she did at the end of trial today.

I think you may have missed the point of FrayedKnot's post. It's easy to nitpick the looks of a nasty killer and it's easy to hurt the feelings of people who share similar traits. For instance, I've heard people disparage the size of JA's thighs and her pouty lower lip - well my thighs are way fatter than JA's and I too have a large pouty lower lip.

I think part of what makes JA diabolical are her good looks. Studies have shown that people do associate good looks with positive personality traits like trustworthiness . In other words, people are more trusting of good looking people.

As an aside, jail does nothing for a woman's looks. Combination of cheap jail soap and bored, nervous picking. (led a therapy group in jail once)

It looks to me like a shoe. The toe is pointed up in the air because the killer is taking a step. Is that what you mean?

The scale is wrong....imo. The baseboards are unusually short in that house - more like 2" rather than 4". I think that's the body......JMO :moo:

but..... the angle is wrong - the camera is about 2ft off the ground.

Regarding Jean Casarez:
This is one commentator who is in entirely over her head. The woman is CLUELESS. It is astounding to watch questions posed to her. She never understands the questions correctly, she never answers the questions put to her, and she pontificates on irrelevant unrelated issues. Her commentary is largely pure drivel. She frequently misses the point entirely or she puts emphasis on the wrong point.

Case in point- she was reporting on the Arizona Supreme Court decision when this judicial body denied request of interlocutory review. Casarez first called it “INTERROCKATORY” and then corrected herself with INTERROGATORY - again wrong.

The lady’s face is made up of pure Botox. Her lips hardly move. Her hairdo is age inappropriate. She manages to dress in wardrobes that range from jungle wear to sleeveless casual.
I cannot understand how this talentless lady made it to InSession for any reason.

Whenever JC is on the screen I immediately mute the TV and await coherent intelligent discussion from somebody else.

I agree, but you made me laugh too...

I had the same impression. That she was goading him. But still,,,there is a jury here and they, like us, are probably saying WTF - Did she just say "we",,,Who is the second part of the "we"?

moo

yeah. But the awful thing is they can't talk to anyone about any of this.

They must feel like they're going to explode, imo.

here's my take on the remote....I think....I know I have asked already two times if there was a dvd stolen at the same time as the gun, but I have not looked at what anyone has written (forgive me please) as threads were moving just too fast and then I had to turn over my laptop to my son for homework.....so...here goes...I think that JA had MM go to the g-parents home and steal the gun and the dvd player and to just go ahead and take the $40 for your trouble.....she goes to MM's gets the gun, gives DB or his little boy the dvd player as a gift, but forgets to give them the remote to it, so she needs to go back and do that.....this is my take on the remote.....now, I just gotta find out if a dvd player was actually taken from the g-parents home .......

quote from article:

The only things reported taken were the handgun, a DVD player, and $30, while other valuable items, including a large pile of quarters and three other guns, were left untouched. Arias told police that her laptop computer was not taken because she had hidden it in a laundry basket covered with clothes.

YES. DVD Player taken

Jurors viewed photos of Arias's grandparents home and heard from Officer Friedman on the items that were reportedly taken: the handgun, $30 in cash and a DVD player were taken. Just as importantly, Prosecutor Juan Martinez pointed to items that weren't taken, such as the television, Arias's laptop, and stacks of quarters were located immediately above the cabinet where the 25 caliber gun was taken. Other guns remained untouched in the home.

Maybe it was okay because she was psychic as a sock?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just love how pschic socks always see some "darkness + light" and then after the fact, they can easily fit the situation to what they said.

Here is a reading for her. My "spidey-sense" tells me she is surrounded by some "darkness " and some "light".

Next year after we hear she has had a car wreck OR found a new husband, I can then tell her how right I was with either the "darkness" OR "light".

I've never seen her look so shaken and almost defeated as she did at the end of trial today.

That last hour of cross-examination really did seem to do her in. First time I've seen any real indication that Juan is getting the better of her. IOW, reality is encroaching on her. Tomorrow might be downright explosive as he continues to confront her with reality. (Remembering a book by Scott Peck, confronting someone like JA with reality-repeatedly-will cause a meltdown of some sort). I've also observed it IRL.

Jodi Airy 🤬🤬🤬's genetics did nothing for her looks. IMO.

Another thought just hit me IMO Travis totally told her to hit the road!
JA is stalker crazy. She would have stayed there longer had he allowed
her to do so.
She would have blown Ryan off at the drop of a hat.

Maybe she did just go there to kill him?

Have we seen the e-mail he sent on the 26th?
I think he may have threatened to get a restraining order or
something.-since 1000 miles didn't keep her away.

Honestly if she had any dirt on him that she could prove
I think she would have tried to ruin him.

I THINK She attempted to get some 🤬🤬🤬 photos to blackmail him
and out him to the church.... but that would out her too no?
He may have deleted the photos himself.???

well she did say on the stand today that it was a remote she returned...when asked what kind, she said....uuuuuuuuuummmmmm a dvd, or uuuuuuummm a tv remote, I can't remember or something like that.....

I was online looking at the crime photo scenes and noticed that the pic on JA's drivers lic there is NO smile but yet her prison mug shot has a smile - I find that odd.

Thinking outloud: what man has a 20 ft decorative rope just lying about the house complete with tassels? Who needs to cut rope in a bathroom when the bedroom had ample room for that? But back to reality, no rope, just a convenient way to place the knife at the scene.

At one point, there was a picture of TA's desk with a check on it from JA - what was the date on that check, anyone know?

interesting thought***

earlier in the trial (like right after the state rested) Nurmi said in open court that, for scheduling purposes, his case in chief would wrap up around 8 February

we are currently (and obviously) well past 8 February and Juan has not even finished his cross.

Nurmi will then get up for re-direct which, honestly, could take days.

Then Nurmi also has all the rest of his witnesses to call.
:gasp:

Based on the date approximation he gave to the judge I am just guessing that he did not plan on Arias getting up on the stand. I think we well knows what he is dealing with and did not want her up there giving version 8.0

All the above being said, if Arias is trying to go for the longest trial in US history she would not succeed as the McMartin preschool trial was the longest and it lasted 3 years

He has been talking to someone Jodi knows. I think that is what I heard. MM maybe. Threats maybe coming from Jodi via her new friend Carr.

I don't know if it was legitimate or not, but I read a comment somewhere that there is a jury member who knows JA. Maybe this is not who is being referred to though, I have no idea.

  • #578
B Carr spoke with Jodi Sunday. Talking about what is going on the outside with a certain person who he will not name. Nancy asked if it was a mutual friend.. he says yes, someone on the outside. Very Vague. Make your best guesses. I still think it may be MM.

  • #579
TY
What I saw today more than any other day was Nurmi's objections were actually 'leading' JA into her next answer on the 'overruled' obejctions..
Did anyone else notice this?

More often I noticed when he objected, JA would answer anyway before the judge had a chance to say sustained. Gotta love it when that happens!!!

Brian Carr, friend of Jodi. His sister was victim of DV so he reached out to jodi and became friends. he talked to her Sunday. Talked about what is goin on outside with a certain person. Wouldnt say who on air. (that is creepy)
