Hello All, this is my 1st post....but been lurking for awhile. JA mentioned that she returned the gas can. Whenever you return anything at Walmart they circle it on the original receipt. (usually with writing next to it) When JM put up the receipt today it was not circled. Just my observation...

Yes, and it seems to be such a pointless lie. Don't see how this helps. It only makes her look worse for the lie.

She comes up with these lies that don't help her for some reason, she probably doesn't even know. Like the lie that she broke a glass at his house to explain alleged cuts on her right fingers. She is already admitting she stabbed him, and it is likely she got cut while stabbing him. No need to make up the lie about the glass.

Travis had a new camera. Jodi evidently hadn't used it before. Either it fell and triggered it to take a picture or it was on a timer to repeatedly take pictures in intervals. I would have loved to have been with the police when they discovered the pictures of Travis after his death. Can you imagine their excitement! You just can't make this stuff up! I have a feeling some mystery writers will take this idea and run with it!

Bryan Carr came on tv and said Jodi doesn't have a jail girlfriend and on Sunday they were discussing someone he cannot mention. LOL What an idiot.

Thanks for the reply! i enjoyed your post. I agree, I believe he was shot last, and the blood drip on shower resulted from attack in or right by shower. I have just never noticed the things I marked until txblondie pointed out what looked like blood on shower. If I saw that as a juror (assuming it is a blood drip) it would lead me to believe the attack started in/by shower where he was taken off guard and stabbed and she was lying about shooting him first in the closet.

That picture of the robe still hanging up is sooo creepy to me.

Right, if could just get passed that bathrobe (just know forensics tested it since right there in the midst of a bloody crime scene) but another poster (where are ya?) said maybe JA used it but then believe her DNA would be on it somewhere, a hair, something, however was an excellent thought :rocker:

I tell you what would be a (chilling) fascinating study is about Narcissists and sociopaths who are actually abusers and use their sophisticated manipulative "powers" to twist it via the courts in a myriad of ways to make it appear they are the abused.

I believe family court would be a fertile resource for all kinds of these cases.

Ya know, for someone other than me to do. To expose this kind of thing, like we are seeing right here in this trial.

This is kind of my practice niche, and it's very very common to see these types whenever you have drawn out litigation in family court. I'm pretty confident in saying that if whenever there's protracted litigation in family court, at least one of the parties is personality disordered.

These types of personalities thrive on the conflict, and indeed they do use the court system to inflict additional abuse. Unfortunately they are often successful because civil courts, and family courts in particular, are not set up to expose these kinds of abuses, and there's really no way to stop someone from litigating if they are determined to keep the controversies going.

These people always make horrible witnesses, exactly like Jodi, and they usually try everything to avoid actually taking the stand and going through with a hearing or trial. Putting them on the stand is the very best way to demonstrate to the judge what kind of person we're dealing with - otherwise it is very, very difficult to expose this kind of personality -- they always have the advantage in litigation because they are not playing by the rules, but the other party is.

I think it occurred in 62 seconds. The first accidental photo was when it began. She stabbed him in the heart and various other places on his front, 15 times, then he turned to the sink and down the hall and she stabbed him in the back along the way 13 times, then the neck cut in the bedroom. Drag him back. 28 stabs and the neck slice can be done in that time.

What is unbelievable is her story that would have in the same time all of the above, PLUS the body slam, struggle, chase, gun shot, more struggle.

When JA testified about her early life, her dad pushed her against a door frame and she "passed out" for a period of time.

Wouldn't a "body slam" (see WWE wrestling maneuver) -- TA allegedly picked her up and then body slammed her to the tile floor -- knock the wind out of her for a few seconds, if not knock HER unconscious before she could escape from him?

The camera could have also been set to the setting to take x amount (usually 3 or 6) of successive photos. Normally this mode is used for sports shooting when you are capturing a sequence of events. In most models, you will hit the shutter button one time and the camera fires off a sequence of photos. Perhaps she was using that while taking pics of Travis in the shower. So the camera could have dropped and she inadvertently stepped on it, or perhaps Travis got his finger on it somehow, and it shot off a sequence of images.

I wonder what's here that interests her? She doesn't seem the zoo or sea world type. It's gotta be a person, and I wonder who it is.

Maybe she went ahead and spent that money knowing Travis would be unable to cash it?

The other day she said that she had planned on meeting Gus Searcy but didn't. (this would be some where near Salinas). I think she did meet him and that he gave her money. His business schedule shows that he was in that area on June 3. I think GS had more of an interest in JA than as just a mentor. We know he gave her the Helios phone and talked to her often and let her stay at his home in Vegas more than once.

If you go back to the testimony of the police officer who pulled her over, he said that someone pulled up ahead of them and seemed to be waiting or watching what JA and the police officer were doing.
