Does anybody wish, when JA said "an attorney told me" re: the taping of the Flores phone call, he'd ask "what's the attorney's name?". Of course she had no attorney. Just another brick in the wall of her lies to show the jury.

I guess an inconsequential detail but how she just flows those lies is infuriating.

Two pages?

I dont know but that is what Beth just told Joey Jackson.

imo

Every time the camera spanned to Beth, she had her head down as if she was taking notes or typing. I doubt she saw the questions put in the basket but our Katiecoollady did!

I see you are another kindred spirit in the race to get the knucklehead award. :floorlaugh: Just kidding but how looooooooong was that yellow line?

:takeabow:

I didn't think it was that long, but from the looks of the car, I must have driven on it for miles! It has big tires and I blame them for slinging the paint everywhere. NOT MY FAULT. :great: I nearly had a stroke when I saw the car. I knew SO would KILL me. (Cars are justified I think...)

And there's still yellow paint up under the wheel thingies...he comes home next week for a week...this should be good...plus I don't know how I'm gonna sneak in my trial coverage. After FCA's trial, I'm kinda forbidden from getting obsessed again with a trial. ;)

Surely not in the drive way. She would not take the chance of roommates or neighbors noticing a strange car in the driveway.

ok I am going along with this........would not Travis notice no vehicle and wonder how she got there or maybe he assumed she used her broomstick!

I was hoping JM would bring up the phone charger thing.... what woman driving all those miles by herself wouldn't pick up a new $10 phone charger? They sell them at most corner stores. But she had money for Fraps and an extra gas can.
Winner winner chicken dinner ! More holes in her Swiss cheese story ...
Pinocchio had nothing on Arias ...

I have to admit I also feel the gun came first. From TA's shower poses, positions of his fists on his chest and the look on his face, I believe he was being threatened with the gun. The first bullet hit him in the head (Perfect position sitting on floor in shower). One bullet may not have fit properly in the chamber and misfired, allowing Travis time to get to the sink, then she started stabbing him in the back. He turned to fight her off, then she stabbed him in the heart, he fell to the floor and started crawling down the hall, when she climbed on his back and slit his throat.

I feel her accounting of the ninjas to Det. Flores, was a close accounting of what Jodi actually did, hearling a gunshot first, including mentioning a misfire and Travis crawling on all 4's, therefore, I believe the gunshot came first. By switching weapons, it is premeditation.

JMO
I agree. She has bits of truth in some of the lies. One of the main reasons I think the shot was first is because it is the easiest way to kill him without getting super close to him and risking him grabbing her arm or something.

Also I dont think she would have risked the loud bang last if she had already stabbed him and slit his throat. He would have already been practically dead by then and so why risk a loud noise bang to risk getting caught.

I think she had planned to just shoot him to death, the gun jammed and then she needed to find another weapon to do the job.

Either way, she premediated the murder because she planned it by going there with gun, gas cans, etc.

Is there any way she could be acquitted....god forbid. :what:

She is scary and dangerous. Even Mark Geragos said she scared him...and he defended Scott Peterson!

Mu husband was in the house about the last ten minutes of court yesterday. He said "she"ll walk just like Casey Anthony did".....

I told him to bite his tongue or i would tell the sleuthers and may have to divorce him. LOL. He never keeps up with any trials. He just assumes some juror will feel sorry for her. I told him he just doesn't know this monster. And that the jurors are seeing what I see.:seeya:

Random thought of mine this morning before I even got out of bed....<how pathetic am I?>

I want hear where she says she parked her rental car on June 4th.
I know we won't get a straight answer but I am curious.

Driveway? Nobody saw it.

Garage? Roommates did not report seeing it there.

Down the street? Most likely. Gives more support to her washing up and doing a wardrobe change after the murder. Then walking down the street with her backpack and whistling like it's a normal day in the neighborhood.

Ideas?

I always went with 'down the street', as in how she described parking the UHaul, but - she would be just as obvious walking up the street with all that baggage, and then back again after the murder. I suppose its minutiae, but I would like to know all details of her premeditation.

If memory serves she was looking for rooms on a LDS website and I think she rented a room from a girl named Rachel (?). That lasted a couple of weeks.

This, wasn't it also rent free? This was also the girl that said she had to move out because she and her boyfriend were getting married, right?

When JM mentioned that she had quite a bit of luggage for such a trip do you think he was
trying to imply that she was in fact packed and ready to go to Mexico with TA?

Good point. My guess is this was the last ditch effort to STOP him from going with Mimi.. She arrived and engaged in wild sex, photo taking, in her mind this is how to get a man.

Instead this may have solidified with him, this is a part of his past, he is moving on and some words were exchanged that gave her the idea nothing was changed and he was excited about the Cancun trip. He may or may not have mentioned Mimi UNLESS Jodi did her famous self deprecating type talk like "well we are each with new people so ..." blah blah "I want to marry a return missionary I think because i wouldn't, and you wouldn't well.. want to marry a freak in bed? then again I'm afraid well.. i'm afraid that "

She was always trying to get him to say he would NOT marry someone that was like "her" in bed. And he never said that... he just didn't say much because nobody can tell what Jodi is trying to get you to say other than "marry me"

And frankly I'm not convinced that the wild sex life they had bothered him at all or would bother him with the woman he eventually married.

I think it was "JODI" he could not see marrying, it was her and her stalker psycho like behavior that made him pull away from her

So she killed him.. Simple as that.

I want everyone to know that I am extremely curious about red gas cans now and want one. I see them at Lowe's and they are cheap, $10 - $40 depending on size. I will get one and have the gas guy put gas in it so I don't hurt anyone at first. And keep it in the garage for an emergency. Learn something new everyday.

I am puzzled why they were out of budget for her. This girl travels by the seat of her pants with just enough cash to get from point A to B via Utah, then Mesa.

Just her method of what seems to be gypsy lifestyle is so darn odd. She isn't able to get along with anyone including herself for very long. Can't get along with High School so leaves, can't get along with her parents so leaves, feels claustrophobic with grandparents so moves to Mesa, AZ in with Travis for 2 to 3 mo at some point, and in a free room with a girlfriend at some point, all after living with a man and his son in Palm Desert area of CA...

then back to Yreka after leaving a trail of destruction to put it mildly.

:floorlaugh:

Steph, the gas has to be used tho. It will go bad. :floorlaugh:

Can someone please tell me whether it is true that JA in direct said that her laptop was in her bedroom when the burglary took place? Yesterday she said it wasn't in her bedroom.
IIRC I'm pretty sure previously she said it was hidden in a clothes basket in her room. Yesterday she said it was with her.

When she is talking about enjoying the "quilting", I hope the jury can see that she absolutely ate up every morsel of attention from Travis.
Her soul purpose in life was attaining Travis.

Only get to see re-runs of the testimony so wondered if anyone could tell me if Juan has asked her about the money transactions on her trip to see Travis? Has he asked her how and why she is getting this money and from whom? TIA

She also said on the stand yesterday that she was bored driving by herself all those miles, so she was calling basically anybody she could find that would talk to her.

So, are we to believe that she could have survived with a dead phone?

I have picked them up at Dollar General for $8 when I've misplaced or left mine places. She had $8, and she's too much like the other cell phone queen we watched on trial..she's NOT gonna be without it.
