Does anybody wish, when JA said "an attorney told me" re: the taping of the Flores phone call, he'd ask "what's the attorney's name?". Of course she had no attorney. Just another brick in the wall of her lies to show the jury.

I guess an inconsequential detail but how she just flows those lies is infuriating.

My thought was....the attorney told you they record these but he didn't tell you not to talk to the police without a lawyer...? :what:

Do we know where she kept the CD's? Did she bring those along because she knew she was going to see Travis, or are they something she always carries with her?

Can someone help me understand what the significance is of this license plate issue?

Is it that Jodi deliberately messed with her plates so her license number wouldn't be easily noticed or written down?

Someone said that it is a strategy to defeat traffic cameras.

I'm not sure exactly how that would defeat the cameras. I do know they sell (on the internet) some kind of invisible, but highly reflective stuff that people spray on their plates to create a distracting glare if the traffic cameras take a pic.

We don't have those cameras where I live, but I have seen them when travelling in AZ. Saw a flash of light at night once on a freeway there and nearly jumped out of my seatbelt! I didn't get a ticket, though, so must not have been aimed at me!

Only get to see re-runs of the testimony so wondered if anyone could tell me if Juan has asked her about the money transactions on her trip to see Travis? Has he asked her how and why she is getting this money and from whom? TIA

He hasn't asked that yet. but is alluding to it. We may get to hear it today.
I hope we get back to the magazine at some point - it's consuming my curiosity!! lol

When JM mentioned that she had quite a bit of luggage for such a trip do you think he was
trying to imply that she was in fact packed and ready to go to Mexico with TA?

Wasn't there a receipt for sunscreen? That could mean she thought she could talk him into taking her on the trip.

Now that is a good catch!!! Premeditation bonus. :rocker:

Yes, she only purchased the Level 2 PPL Plan which gives subscribers 1/2 the Information they need.

Had she paid for a PPL Level 5 plan, he would say they will record you and "don't talk to them without an attorney present"

Crap.. that extra $18 a month would have been worth its weight in gold..

 good morning to all those nameless guests lurking below.

Home with a sick kiddo today so I get to see more of the trial than I normally do. silver lining to what could be an unpleasant day.

My theory is she removed the plates entirely, and put them back on (possibly in the dark) upside down.

Who knows - anything is possible with this chick.

Note she said she believed the gun was not loaded? Then she claims she went to grab this likely unloaded gun to protect herself.

No, no just no.

She also said on the stand yesterday that she was bored driving by herself all those miles, so she was calling basically anybody she could find that would talk to her.

So, are we to believe that she could have survived with a dead phone?

I have picked them up at Dollar General for $8 when I've misplaced or left mine places. She had $8, and she's too much like the other cell phone queen we watched on trial..she's NOT gonna be without it.

Right? She had concerns about her safety in a Starbucks parking lot but would travel through the desert with no means of communication? Sure...

Oh!! I see...that is interesting.

Traffic cameras are not legal in Arkansas yet. So that's a new concept for me.

Thank you for your help!

I want to know what Travis was talking about in those text messages when he said she scammed him and was going to tell everyone what she did. Was it something big enough for her to want to shut him up?

Excellent point!

I was thinking how everything would smell like gas

The gas cans have really good lids on them but you don't drive around with gas like that on a road trp. Keep in mind, she had one goal. She didn't care about the smell, she had to kill Travis. And I am certain that although she used it to fill her car, she also used some of it to burn evidence.

OH wow seriously LOL how long? It will be like the Coke in my refrig! i don't drink soda but it's for company? cans... My parents used to have a coke at night. They passed away within a few weeks of each other in Oct and Dec of 2008.

those cans are still in there. Does that go bad also? I should toss them! LOl not let anyone drink that

Umm yes the coke is probably not any good after 5 yrs. At the end of the cutting season I pour the gas from the can into my car. Usually after around 6 months it is not as efficienct. jmo :floorlaugh:

Went along with my DH for a doc apt yesterday, and had to watch the afternoon portion on u-tube. It's just not the same.
I am so envious of those who are able to attend the trial - it must be awesome.
Thank you so much for your notes.
