I think she went packed for Mexico. I think her trip was meant to be a last ditch effort to "close the deal" and land Travis. She pulled out all stops, sex, photos, etc. and her plan was always this is it, its now or never. It was going to be them together or him dead. one or the other.

I think she did buy sunscreen because ms JA wanted to be prepared for the possiblity that she was going to Mexico. I think the gun was because she wanted to be prepared to kill him if she wasn't going to have him.

I've thought this too.

I also think that after the sex that afternoon is when things went south. As if she thought the sex would make him change his mind. When he didn't, that is when she killed him.

What would I do without you WS'ers? My husband looks at me like I'm crazy whenever I talk about this case and my friends have no idea who Jodi Arias is!!
Oh....and my kids think I am weird for watching it all the time. So at least I have y'all :)

Haha. My husband came home last week and somehow at work mentioned to another guy that I was watching this trial. The other guy lives in Kentucky and he said his wife won't leave the house while the trial is on and she knows every player in the courtroom. LOL! I told my husband I want to meet her!

OH wow seriously LOL how long? It will be like the Coke in my refrig! i don't drink soda but it's for company? cans... My parents used to have a coke at night. They passed away within a few weeks of each other in Oct and Dec of 2008.

those cans are still in there. Does that go bad also? I should toss them! LOl not let anyone drink that

Yes. Throw away the 5 year old cans of coke. (Especially if it is Diet Coke.) Buy a couple new cans for visitors every 6 months or so, lol!

Note she said she believed the gun was not loaded? Then she claims she went to grab this likely unloaded gun to protect herself.

No, no just no.

Especially since she said she pointed at him to make him stop. Nothing elevates an abuser's wrath more than having your own unloaded gun being pointed at you. Her stories continue to be absurd.

Umm yes the coke is probably not any good after 5 yrs. At the end of the cutting season I pour the gas from the can into my car. Usually after around 6 months it is not as efficienct. jmo :floorlaugh:

I just love all the things I learn here at websleuths! BTW, I tried that tinyurl site so as not to blow the margins last night.......thanks to those that said try it out... but I couldn't get it to work. Good thing I know how to just delete a post!

I want everyone to know that I am extremely curious about red gas cans now and want one. I see them at Lowe's and they are cheap, $10 - $40 depending on size. I will get one and have the gas guy put gas in it so I don't hurt anyone at first. And keep it in the garage for an emergency. Learn something new everyday.

I am puzzled why they were out of budget for her. This girl travels by the seat of her pants with just enough cash to get from point A to B via Utah, then Mesa.

Just her method of what seems to be gypsy lifestyle is so darn odd. She isn't able to get along with anyone including herself for very long. Can't get along with High School so leaves, can't get along with her parents so leaves, feels claustrophobic with grandparents so moves to Mesa, AZ in with Travis for 2 to 3 mo at some point, and in a free room with a girlfriend at some point, all after living with a man and his son in Palm Desert area of CA...

then back to Yreka after leaving a trail of destruction to put it mildly.

Why buy what she can beg, borrow or steal? ;)

Speculation here-
I wonder if she tried to talk Travis into an outdoor sex act. Find a secluded place, take turns tying each other up. Kill him and use the 3 gas cans to destroy evidence and delay identification. Use the case (??) of bottled water to clean up.

Yes, she only purchased the Level 2 PPL Plan which gives subscribers 1/2 the Information they need.

Had she paid for a PPL Level 5 plan, he would say they will record you and "don't talk to them without an attorney present"

Crap.. that extra $18 a month would have been worth its weight in gold..

Is this true or you pulling my leg ???

OT Thank you for this tip. I knew gas could go bad but never knew what to do with the gas in the cans. Pouring in car is great idea and then get fresh gas to fill cans. THANK YOU

I am always careful driving when filling up the cans. It is very scary driving with full cans of gas. A serious car accident could cause an inferno inside the car. Be careful when transporting gas in cans. Same with propane refills.

my toddlers come up with better excuses when getting into trouble :floorlaugh:

are you in court today ?

Yes, I'm going for the afternoon session again.

I'm watching the testimony I saw yesterday on IS right now. The advantage you guys have that us in the courtroom don't have is watching her facial expressions up close. She is WAY far away from the gallery and my view of her face was obstructed yesterday but these expressions are a huge part of her testimony. It's so obvious she's a screwball and messing with the prosecutor and the jury and enjoying it. It's not as obvious in person.

I'll post when I get in there (hopefully land on the right thread this time lol). And my notes when I get home tonite. :seeya:

Was this TA's home where the "A" marker is located, and kitty-corner to the neighborhood park?

If so, looks like the portion of E Quintana accross from the park would have been a likely spot for JA to have parked her rental car.?.

I saw a few people mention testimony from yesterday where JA says she remembers placing TA in the shower that day. I watched most of the testimony but missed some towards the end of the day. Does anyone know approximately when this happened? I'm trying to watching video but it would be a lot easier if I had some idea where to find it. TIA!

She has not admitted to remembering putting TA in the shower after killing him.

Stephanie, go online and check out safety precautions first. I have seen on the news that it isn't good to store gasoline in a garage. Don't know if that is hype or not. What if there was someone with a match or cigarette nearby or lightning struck? I'm kinda weird I guess to think of things like that.
