Guys, please take it from an attorney. JM is done with cross. But you didn't hear the words "the state rests" because he said that weeks ago before the defense began its case.

This was cross. The defense is still presenting its case but the state's presentation was over a few weeks ago.

This was the cross of one of the defense witnesses. When an attorney says. "I have nothing further" or that they have no more questions, it is done.

I loved the look on Jodi's face when Juan told Jodi to demonstrate the alleged linebacker attack.

Watching a replay of her talking about the size of TA's closet and how it's bigger than the cell she is living in. The look on her face is chilling as she's looking at the jurors. It's almost as if she's pissed at TA and it's his fault that his closet is bigger than her living space.

Thank god I missed that portion of her testimony today.

For those people unsure what the media was trying to get released it was the hearing on the 10 letters which TA supposedly wrote about being a pedophile. More of Jodi frame up of Travis.

You can read the court final ruling at the link posted below. It proves that Jodi Arias wrote the letters in question herself. JODI WROTE THE LETTERS and that is what the press is after. Court documents does not show the letters themselves but it does show what was ultimately decided about who wrote them.

As many times as Nurmi and Jodi have brought up the letters, I think that it is only right that the Court ruling on them is made public even without showing the letters themselves. In the interest of Justice that ruling should be admitted into the court record for the jury to see and take into consideration in determining if what JA says about TA being a pedophile has ANY truth behind it.

JA had to stand every time the jury entered or exited the courtroom.

JM should've made her stand next to HIM, as he is about an inch shorter than Willmott, who is about 2 or 3 inches shorter than JA.

However, JM got JA to testify about her height in today's testimony.

Right. He did. I think she said 5'-5"...Remember the picture he showed of her and TA side-by-side? She and TA looked to be the same height? Was TA 5-5"? Has his height been listed anywhere?

I thought Nurmi does redirect, JM does a rebuttal (recross?) if he wants to, juror questions for this witness (JA) and she steps down.

KN calls his expert witnesses, JM does cross with them, jury questions for each, then KN closes his CIC.

Then closing arguments - DT first JM last.

Finally deliberations for the guilt phase.

INAL - I think this is basically how it goes, but I'm not absolutely sure...

In the Casey Anthony case, the Prosecution presented their closing statements before the Defense.

If I were JM, when Jodi answered "It's bigger than the cell I live in" I would have made a motion to strike.. Or at least ask for a sidebar...
I think she was made aware by DT that if something like that came up it would predjudice the jury and could be a reason for mistrial..

But might that run the risk of making the issue more of... an issue? Underlining it? Focusing on it? Making sure it would be remembered? Perhaps the DT was hoping for JM to object so they could make something of it.

I dunno.

I trust what JM did today... His soft-spoken demeanor was awesome because I think few expected it.
