The State has blood from her left hand on his wall in the hallway.

:waitasec:

I know that. I was talking about her crying out of guilt for what she has been exposed to have done.

Perhaps you quoted me by mistake?

When he showed her the picture of the shell casing on top of the blood and argued it ended up there after Travis was already bleeding, she looked up long enough to say "it didn't start out there". How does she know the shell casing was somewhere else originally if she went into a fog immediately after she shot him?

I missed what came right after she said that about the bullet. Thought it was a rather astonishing statement. Did JM follow up at all?

Well, the cover up after the fact can be, IMO viewed as helping to prove premeditation when viewed as w hole with the pre-crime acts.

It also blows self defense out of the water.,

Jodi never suffered what she calls fog. One who is in a fog would not be able to think that they must clean up the crime scene and she really did try. She took her bloody socks off, placed him in the shower, rinsed him off and herself i believe...gathered all the evidence, washed blood soaked items, deleted pictures, through the camera in the wash...packed her car, drove off and got rid of the evidence. Who can do that in a foggy state. She was very aware of what she was doing. We also have her calls to him sometime while she was fleeing the scene. No Fogginess Ever.

And another thing that has been on my mind...if TA was lying on the floor next to her after the shot(which I do not believe came first) his attempts to grab at her were most likely pleadings from him to help him. JMO and I am sticking to it. I really pray the jury got this.

I am further back in the thread so I do not know where it will land in the discussions.

What about juror questions for Jodi?

I sure hope there aren't many --because why would you ask a liar anything?

unless it's, Are you going to donate your brain to science?, or something similar

I laying bets defense will bring out Arias says gun jammed.

mebbe. it would give them a rationale, however implausible, on why the use of 2 weapons and why she didn't see any blood on Travis after she shot him.

I agree. I think that he was flailing when he was being stabbed in the shower floor. This was absolutely planned. She needed a position of power. She planned the photo shoot. She brought the weapons.
It is obvious the was premeditated.

Her lies don't fit the result. I say again if Travis is up and shot in the face while chasing her which is not a fatal shot, he would still be alive. She would never have been able to stab him and slit his throat because he would have most likely ran out the door or grabbed her and fought her off. The only way he ends up dead is if she disables him in the shower on the floor. Stabbing him 28 times he is in pain bleeding, in fear, dying. Is he dead at this point and she drags him out to slit his throat? I don't know. So brutal.

Is there any estimate of how many diaries Travis had? She appears to have taken them after she killed him (since they are missing). Wondering if that meant carrying armfuls or handfuls.

The theft of Travis' self, as expressed in his own words, for me ranks at the top of the list of the most despicable and cruel things she's done to Travis' family.

I have a feeling that she didn't dispose of them with other evidence of her crime, but kept them until she could read every page--if she hadn't already, behind his back, while he was alive.

Good morning all! Just checking in and catching up from yesterday. Had to leave early so I'm watching the trial on Youtube. There's no court until Monday right?

Rewatching yesterday's testimony -

Jodi claims to have climbed on one shelf to reach the gun. That is an impossible move without disturbing the shelving. Take a closer look:

35ivfqa.png

See the peg holes on the sides? Those holes make for adjustable shelves, you remove the shelf, and the pegs the shelves REST ON can be moved to different locations. The shelves are NOT FIXED into the piece, they simply rest on the pegs. If Jodi were to step on any one of those shelves, the shelf would flip up in the back, throwing everything on the shelf to the floor, most likely making her fall, and may very well fall out.

There is no WAY she used one of the shelves to boost herself up without disturbing the shelf and the contents that were on there.

If considering that point alone, her entire story of what happened that day is not credible.

Edited to add: I'm jealous of TA's organizational skills, what a tidy closet for a bachelor.

Great observation. We have those kind of shelves in our kitchen cabinets and I have grabbed one and it did tip and everything fell to the floor...just like you explained.

So if I am understanding correctly, as per the time stamps on photos, the last alive pic is @ 5:30 and the dragging pic is @ $5:32? So essentially 2 minutes to kill him?

Hi everyone... This is my first post, so I'm sorry if I do or say anything wrong. I have been watching this trial since opening statements. And while a lot of things bother me about Jodi Arias the one thing that really gets under my skin is how she is acting like an abuse victim. I was emotionally abused for a VERY long time. As an emotional abuse victim I can tell you we would NEVER have the nerve to act the way she acts on the stand. When Juan Martinez asked her about her memory and she said something about men like him and Travis yelling at her makes her brain scramble. Whatever! Our brains DO scramble when being verbally attacked, but it scrambles so much we would NEVER be able to say that! She talks EXACTLY the way my abuser would talk to me. That annoying double talk that you can't pin them down on anything. An abuse victim doesn't know how to do that! We are too scared, nervous and hurt! I get so mad when those silly people on tv say she is a victim and the attorney is being too mean to her. Nope, it's the other way around. She is the abuser! She abused Travis, she attempted to abuse Juan Martinez and she abused the courts with her false claim of being a victim. As much as I like watching the trial I mute a lot of it because I can't stand to hear her lies. I have a lot more to say, but at least I got that part off my chest! Thank you for reading my post!

I also think it was a fake cry. I think I saw one tear fall from her chin, and that was noteworthy.

But I looked for signs of breathlessness and saw none. Her shoulders should have been jerking periodically, with her head bobbing now and then. I've never seen anyone hide their face LIKE their crying, but their body's barely heaving, still the whole time. JODI WAS FAKING.

I saw one tear, on the right side of her face. Just one.

Hi Ricki,

I believe you are right, and wondered why JM did not make a point of measuring a 5' 4" women on one shelf. Obviously her reach to the BACK of the corner would be impossible.

Not to mention the picture showing NOTHING was disturbed, even the bench in the middle of the closet. How does all that take place and the area is in perfect condition?

Jodi also mentions during cross that she stepped on the edge (to explain why nothing was disturbed). That would probably make it even worse.

Hello RU. The explanation is easy. It never happened.

Late to the party this morning ...

If I was sitting on the jury and didn't believe a part of Arias testimony (direct and especially cross), I would toss out ALL of her testimony, leaving only the facts delivered by the prosecutor. So the linebacker charge, the chase through the closet, the blackout, the license plate story, the 3rd can excuse, the gun belonging to Travis, etc. ALL becomes irrelevant when deciding her fate. Lies on top of more lies ... any juror believing any of her nonsense probably thinks that Kim Kardashian is a talented actress and singer as well.

Arias is a proven and admitted liar, especially when it's in her best interest. Why would her being on the stand be any different ? Testimony on the stand is also in her best interest.

JM, in closing, should bring out the fact that Arias DID NOT arrive at her self-defense story until 2010. Why the big delay ? And also she has had years to perfect this twisted web of deceit ...

To me, the email sent to a dead Travis on June 7, 2008 would cinch the DP. This woman is nothing more than a parasite, latching onto men in search of a free ride and unable to accept rejection. The motive - very simply was anger - anger at being tossed aside for another woman for the Cancun trip and being told to hit the road for good.

Are you telling me she said she stepped on the edge of the bottom shelf? I missed that. If that is what you are saying everything on the shelf would be on the floor. The floor was neat and tidy as the rest of the closet.

but didn't we hear that some of the photos were not recovered? some of the deleted ones? they could be in between where it would all make sense for a timer, no?

Those are the deleted photos, I posted the time stamps of the last four photos taken.
