I have seen a few posts how people "don't sit in showers"...well that is the way I shower about 99.99% of the time. It's more comfortable and relaxing to me then standing. the other .01% is usually when my DH is in there with me:blushing: or if i just am doing a quick rinse off...so yes, people do sit in the shower:twocents:

Oh Madeleine, I do know that. But to give an example, I don't understand the replaying of the sex phone tape yesterday. The jury had already heard the whole tape, Nurmi had had plenty of time on direct to bring out all the points he wanted to, and yet he got to go over it all again with the stuff spelled out on screen? I find that confusing. Does that mean he will call his DV expert, JM will cross and then Nurmi will go over it all again a second time? If he was bringing out points that hadn't been made I could understand it. I'm not seeing where there would be grounds for appeal if he doesn't get to bludgeon everyone over the head multiple times.

Great question for a lawyer to answer. We have a few lawyers here and a dedicated "Ask a lawyer a question" thread devoted to such legal matters. I would post my question there to get the answer.

Good morning everyone! I tried to finish watching the testimony from yesterday but I just can't stomach that woman.

It's absolutely amazing to me that everything in the world that "happened" to JA was a direct result of what TA did and he deserved to die because of it.

At this point, I don't care if the jury recommends the DP or not, LWOP would be just fine for me. Then JA can go back to her cell, order up some Advil, get one of those nifty razors (HA!) they give out at the jail, and kill herself correctly this time. Yeah, Jodi, it's going to sting a little. I must have missed something in trial yesterday, I just happened to have it on TV right now (In Session). Are the journal entries that Jodi is reading from the pages that were torn out before Travis' death? Wow, how self serving she still had these pages after so long. Is there proof that these excerpts are actually from the original or made up over the weekend?

Well I am trying to decided if I am brave enough to listen today to the trial. Yesterday was horrible and it gave me a horrendous headache.

Someone sent me a link to that photo... OMG! I had followed the trial starting with JA's being on the stand and I still had no real idea until I saw that picture!

I find the judge's behavior something of a puzzle. Maybe she's letting Nurmi bring in so much because she sees it's all ludicrous and knows the jury won't buy it. lease:

I think she's going WAY overboard to ensure she doesn't get overturned. IMO, she needs a little more confidence in herself and her rulings.

I am no attorney, but I thought in a rebuttal, you could only address things the DA brought up, rebut, so to speak, not introduce new info. You had your chance!
IF the defense is allowed to enter new evidence, then Juan should be able to rebut that!

That's exactly what Jeff Gold said in court yesetrday (to me). He thought the "rape" comment blasted all over that screen would qualify as well for recross. Please let this torture end on a Juan note.

I did too.. I'm so over JA, her finger,her anal sex, her constant lies. I feel so sorry for the jury and the family having to listen to all that!

Think Ill save myself some anxiety and stop watching at least until JM is back up there.

Same here. JA's so toxic, just a short stint of her now makes me feel the need to go out and draw in a good, long, deep breath of cool, clean air.

I also am sick of this attorney who sounds like he's taken an overdose of Benzodiazapines, and his so obvious over-rehearsed lying automaton. I really can't believe he's dragging out the re-direct like this. Imo, it only emphasizes how calculating, insincere, and unbelievable JA is. Maybe the saving grace will be that the jury will find this performance as distasteful, and JA as revolting as I do.
