Hello fellow posters.

I want to thank everyone who posts what is going on during the trial. Due to circumstances out of my control, I cannot watch or hear the proceedings. I usually cannot watch the tapes afterwards. This forum is my only way to know what is going on. I read the complete thread # 68 and have started on #69.

I know it's hard to try and watch something that intense and post at the same time. I really appreciate what you do. The different opinions, comments and jokes (oh my gosh) keep me here.

Butt - I respectfully ask - Can you sometimes elaborate just a little bit more? Yesterday there were almost 20 posts to the effect of "Go Juan!" "Get her Juan!" "Juan is mad" "Oh boy he's going after her". 3 pages of posts before someone says it is voir dire. I don't know what he said to her about the journal entries. Minor4th posted "Prior consistent statements should not be admitted as evidence by Jodi to bolster Jodi's own testimony" and I think that was the result. But what did Juan ask or say? If someone could tell me, I would love to hear it. It may be in thread 69 and I haven't gotten to it yet.

Again, thank you for what you do. Please don't throw virtual apples at me for asking this!

On the NG show last night a caller called into the show and told NG that Jodi Arias' brother acknowledged on FB that Jodi was using those tapes to tarnish Travis' character for future girlfriends. To me that makes perfect sense. Blackmail.

I have a quick question as court starts for the day. I've looked around a bit but either scanned over it or didn't see is explained; is there a specific reason Arias has to wear the stun belt? Is that common practice when a defendant takes the stand? TYIA!
