Do they really need a "hiatus day"?!?! They are only there Mon-Thurs from 10:30-4:30 with an hour and a half for lunch and an afternoon break. This trial is NEVER going to end if they are putting in <16 hours/week. This is SO bizarre!

In all fairness, I don't think anyone could have predicted that JA would be on the stand for 15 days!! When the court schedule was made, they didn't even know IF she would take the stand. The jurors do have lives. Maybe one of them had a preplanned vacation, long weekend scheduled?

This trial is a perfect example of why I firmly believe juror's should get paid a nice wage for their service. JMO
