I thought victim-Jodi LOST HER MEMORY/FOGGED-OUT when "stressed" by Travis yelling at her? Why does she remember each and every episode of "violence" in such grueling detail? I'm confused.:banghead:

She remembers the terrifying episode when Travis lost his temper in traffic and abused the steering wheel in great detail. But nothing from her slaughter of Travis. OK.

Obviously, she remembers everything HE does, but forgets when she retaliates. She remembered right up to the point she "accidentally" shot him and he said he was going to kill her. . . .then it's foggy. He must not have been too threatening after that point or she would have remembered it.

And Travis NEVER traveled, did he Arias? Was there no place in the world he could buy KY except Mesa?

OR online? You can get all sorts of embarrassing products at Drugstore.com!

UM, I think, I think, UM UM UM... Means:

Give me time, I'll come up with something.... ;)

Our Walgreens, Target, CVS and Walmart have it on the shelves with KY.

The Astroglide X is even better. Some brands can cause issues in the hoo-ha-ular region. :blushing:

bbm - unless it was a kinky sex play...... it happens, and with what she's known to do, I dont doubt it COULD have been sex play that she is twisting into something else....

I was referring to the recurring theme in her abuse stories.

This trial is nothing but a huge insult to Travis.

It's a huge insult to every one of us. It's an abuse of the justice system, giving her the stage for days on end to drone on about her butt-hole.

While we're on break I'll reiterate something I said that was met with some challenge by another DV survivor...so just, fwiw, every victim is indeed different...

One thing that has always troubled me about Jodi's recounting of her abuse is her total lack of emotions. Anger is a natural and normal process of recovery. While I'm ambivalent about my ex now, years later, I still become angry recalling what he did to me. His actions anger me...over time you realize it was deeper than just being mistreated - they violated the trust and love you willingly gave.

The fact she expresses no anger has always personally unnerved me. She was apparently so badly abused she had no other alternative but to kill her abuser...yet nothing to denote any anger or resentment at the actions of the person who supposedly put her in that situation.

Instead she diminishes his supposed abuse, downplays the fear most victims and survivors have no problem admitting, praises him years post-abuse and claims she still loves him. She is very much acting like a DV victim who is still actively in, or immediately coming out of, an abusive relationship.

It's almost like she read a book and assumed this was how she had to act without the personal knowledge or insight that most victims don't stay 'there' - they move on and begin to heal from their experiences. As such they use different terminologies, view the relationship and abuser in a different light, and have a much different demeanor than someone still in victim status.

If she is in such a fog when Travis gets angry, yells, and mad, how does she remember the other instances so so well!!!

Y'all have a nice day
I need to see people other than ja and nurmi! and smell fresh air

Well I DO and So do many other people !! The drive was in some not so populated areas...I know we hate Jodi and all that spews from her BUT people do take extra gas cans on road trips ...hey apparently enough do because there is an entire industry dedicated to manufacturing and selling Gas Cans .. Just Saying !!

snipped pic to save space:

I have driven across country, from one coast to the other, over mountains, through the desert, six times, alone and female. I never considered or needed extra gas. What I did was stop at the gas stations along the way. I'm a maverick!

Just saying :seeya:

eta: this was in a truck with crap gas mileage.

Our Walgreens, Target, CVS and Walmart have it on the shelves with KY.

There are Walmarts everywhere in Phoenix - so probably in Mesa too - all part of one big city within the valley.

All of them have self check-out lines. Anyone who wants to buy a personal item can do so anonymously. I know Walmart stocks the things their talking about because it's all right there - next to other stuff I need.

How dumb. JA thinks Travis was embarrassed because he would have to buy this stuff at the corner drugstore - from the pharmacist his family has met with for Sunday dinners for the last 20 years?

Mesa ain't Mayberry, folks.

I wonder if Nurmi takes after hours phone telephone conferences with potential clients? Now I'm not saying but.....wonder if he does and how long it is?

  • #1,273
Guessing Nurmi is hoping the jury will like her by the end of today and then he can put put on the DV expert and psychologist. Can't wait to hear the juror questions. No one likes her and Nurmi should have gotten that by now.

The sketch artist is drawing the camera in the back of court, 100% more interesting that the rehashed testimony #JodiArias

now that is telling! And funny!

Astro glide is much better than KY in terms of making things work smoother/reducing friction . It is typically highly recommended for post Partum use, it is available at Walmart as well as KY.

Coconut oil is good. That's great to know. Thanks, Gypsy Road. Anybody can buy that without people thinking it is for anal sex. But you know now when I see people buying it, I'll probably wonder if they're gonna...you know. :giggle:

Personal lubricants also are a Godsend for those of us who are pre/perimenopausal. For regular ole vaginal sex. :blushing:

Or they follow the Paleo diet...or use it on their hair...

And we all know he never traveled to places where no one knew him, where he could buy personal lubricant. This testimony is soooo lame.

Yeah, right.

He used it with Esther...

Given her ridiculous media conduct following her torture-murder of TA, JA is now in desperate need of The Law of Retraction.

I understand that.... I was making a joke....... nevermind.
