Was that pic shown on the live feed? I did not see it. I would like to see the pics the jury saw. I took Anatomy&Physiology class (beginning) in college and our class would sometimes observe the med students in the cadaver lab. I only add that so nobody will think I am a gore hound.

Given the dark coloring of his face, does anyone think she left him laying on the floor for a while before she dragged him to the shower? Maybe started the laundry first? I'm just thinking of lividity, and the darkness on his face and the palms of his hands. Man, I think I might have nightmares tonight!

:gasp:

Psychopathy isn't in the dsm.

I understand that. From what I can tell researchers are still trying to determine whether it is a distinct disorder.

I would imagine he slid easily on the slippery surface one she got him off the carpet

Good question. I might do a little research. (me, not you) I would think if there was lividity in his face and palms he would have to had been face down. I wonder if the darkness is due to decomp. I believe his fingers had begun to mummify, IIRC.

Hope you don't have any nightmares tonight. I have had dreams that I am reading forums.

This is what his roommates said on the FB group
"

Enrique Cortez Jr. With how Travis traveled, we didn't know he was dead in the bathroom. Your car doesn't have to leave, just you. I was used to my previous roommate always taking off. You also have to remember how big the house was (4500-5000 sq ft) and how the master suite, including the bathroom, occupies only one side, with the other bedrooms on the opposite side of a huge loft from the bathroom's location. That Monday night was the first time I was noticing the smell because it took that long to finally leave the bathroom and reach that side of the top floor.

Taylor Searle It was not abnormal for Travis to be gone for long stretches. His roommates at the time and he kept to themselves.

Zackery Billings Same as what Enrique Cortez Jr. Said Also I was in Restaurant Management at the Time and Was there very little. Just to sleep for the most part.

Enrique Cortez Jr. My work was usually from 8-4:30 in Tempe doing check fraud. At the time I was using the bus because gas was over $4.00/gallon. I would drive to Superstition Springs Mall, catch the 61 westbound, and got off at Priest and Southern. The ride was probably about an hour and 15 minutes. That bus ride home that day was probably what kept me from walking into a bad situation since I probably got home around 6 or later. You have to come to the understanding that I wasn't meant to go in and see the scene. Everything played out the way it did for a reason."

If this isn't allowed please delete, thanks. ETA In Memory of TA

To cause a mod to laugh during this horrific trial, well, in my twisted mind that would shout "score!" :great:

Back to the ME eloquently kicking the DA's hiney...

Dr. Robert Hare, if you're interested.

Thanks. Like I said, I'm certainly no psychological expert and I am by no means qualified to diagnose anyone. Just spouting off based on personal experience.

Hmmmm, there is also a distinction between psychopathy and sociopathy. People with anti social personality disorder have psychopathic traits. But they're not the same.

Not all psychopaths are murderers either, many are very successful politicians;) no joke!

bbm- no joke indeed!.... another excellent book "A First Rate Madness: Uncovering The Links Between Leadership and Mental Illness" by Nassir Ghaemi

In the actual movie, though, Jolie was dx as sociopath (thanks Linda I forgot) and Rider was dx as BPD. Don't make me watch it again, lol.

And to keep it OT, I do see JA as more BPD. She was reacting to uncontrolled emotion, imo. Conversely, I see FCA as lacking emotion, other than frussshtration.

eta: FWIW, I thought they had it wrong in the movie.

IMHO, JA is reacting to the abandonment she is feeling from her ex-lover.......a CLASSIC Borderline Personality Disorder symptom.

My mother has been diagnosed with BPD. In my research I believe personality disorders, especially those in Cluster B, have a lot of "overlap" when it comes to symptoms. Plus the whole comorbidity thing. I am certainly no psychological expert though.

JMO

Jay.......I agree wholeheartedly with you. Cluster B and overlap/comorbidity. Yes.

You know from looking at that picture it looks like she could have put him on something (like a blanket or towel) to drag him back down that hallway. It seems odd that only the center of the hallway looks cleaned up but the edges closer to the baseboards are still covered in blood spatter.

Also in looking at some of the screen shots of the evidence photos I'm shocked to see the blood splatter so low to the ground on the walls, baseboards and door mouldings especially. I think this points to Jodi stabbing Travis as he was ON THE GROUND and completely down and defenseless

Thanks for saying what I was thinking.

Maybe a large bath mat was there? See the curved looking edge where the tile meets the carpet on the right? ~JMO I see a curve (like something was lifted up and removed.)
