I wonder what grounds the judge ruled them inadmissable. Didn't Jodie present them as written by Travis showing him to be a pedophile? Why not let the jury draw their own conclusion about who the true author is.

It was determined they were forged but I don't see why they wouldn't be admissible - maybe brought in my prosecution as proof of more lies/cover-up?

She does not look anything like the Maria that I posted a picture of. Watching testimony yesterday, it sounded like an on again off again and was off at the end of her testimony.

Travis probably invited more than one especially since Mimi made it clear she had no romantic interest in Travis.

Not the same person at all. Marie (MiMi) Hall testified yesterday that she was supposed to be going to Cancun with Travis-among other pertinent facts. Did you even watch her testify?

Yes I did watch her testify, I am saying that the one I posted the pic of did have a consensual relationship w Travis, Mimi was not interested.
Who is Travis likely to pick? Of course a girl he is knocking boots with over one who has no interest, sure he probably used Cancun as bait!

To better sum up my feelings on this I'll say this. In most murder cases there is a tendency to paint the victim as a saint who was killed at the hands of a satanic killer. I don't believe that TA was an honest choirboy.

If it had been the other way around I think it would be easy to paint him as a jerk. JMO

I don't want to broad brush people involved in multi-level marketing schemes, but I myself couldn't be involved in one. I think it takes a little too much willingness to look the other way about the ethical points of such companies.

I certainly don't think of Travis as an innocent choirboy and it is clear that he was playing the field and kept Jodi on the back burner. That said, I don't think that she was abused and I do think that she was also using him and was totally agreeable to the role playing and sex games. However, I do believe that the planned trip to Cancun with another girl was just too much to take so she planned on murdering him.

I think she was agreeable because she saw it as a way to keep him happy. If she kept him happy there was a better chance of him marrying her. I'm not saying he did this, but he may have made comments like; "That was great. I wish I could have that for the rest of my life." or her asking if he was happy afterward and him saying something to the effect; "I've never been happier." Those are things that could be misinterpreted by any woman or man. JMO

I really hate to be a P-i-t-a 'new-to-the-thread' poster, and I did try catching up with all of the posts (I swear!) so please excuse any repeat, ridiculous questions.

Thoughts on the Judge - fair, pro-prosecution or pro-defense in her rulings leading up to trial? I lost track of the case in the last couple of months when it was postponed in November. I read early in this thread someone commenting she has a small bladder - LOL ... that's gonna be annoying! Does the Judge admonish JA if she starts acting up with her dramatics?

Thoughts on the prosecutor and defense atty? Aggressive? Obnoxious? Passionate?


Does JA have one of those shock belts on? If she starts singing Christmas carols, I really hope they give her a jolt or two. Witch.

Because I remember this case from way back in 2008 and it was clear that they were, she was his main interest, not Jodie.
