It all depends on when all this telephone and email activity took place doesn't it?

I lean towards believing that early on in the relationship both probably were emailing one another like mad. Same for spending hours on the telephone.

But once it got to the slashing tires and threatening new girlfriends is where I believe TA's responses to JA may have been to the point and maybe even brutal. Me, I would have been filing a restraining order against anyone sneaking into my house thru the pet door. But Travis was a man and maybe had that 'a man can take care of himself' attitude. Or maybe he was trying not to get her in trouble with the law.

I know JA can lie with the best of them so at this point until I see supporting evidence I don't believe that Travis gave her that T shirt, I don't believe that he gave his passwords to her, I don't believe the french maid outfit.

And I don't believe he wasn't 100% innocent in having that berserk monster stab him 29 times, shoot him in the face and slash his throat from ear to ear.

Hi, Cuckoohead. I agree with you that so much about this case depends on the exact chronology. When things happened makes all the difference. Although Travis' friends seemed somewhat skeptical about Jodi early one, he was likely somewhat smitten. For a time after all, she was an erotic, romantic significant other.

I also agree that he never gave his passwords or that t-shirt to Jodi. His friends had observed Jodi's sneaky behavior.

I think that some of his reluctance to pursue matters legally has to do the thinness of the evidence (How did he know that she slashed his tires?) and professional career (She was, after all, a colleague who he had likely introduced to Prepaid Legal).

Would be nice to know how it was actually used, could make a huge difference in this case.

Probably for the anal sex. :blushing:

watching trial day part 2 (3 hours) and just about everytime they pan to JA, she's writing. I gotta wonder what she's writing about?

Jodi Arias Trial Day 2 (Part1)

Jodi Arias Trial Day 2 (Part2) - YouTube

Seems to me, in every murder trial I have ever watched, the defendant always has his/her eyes down and is writing... and I always wonder, what?

Notes to the Defense attorney(s), or questions to the Def. Atty. to ask the witness, or simply writing a poem, doodling, writing their autobiography to sell later, how many words can you make out of [judge's name or DA's name, etc.] or just what???

I guess it's just what the Def. Attys. tell their clients to do during trial. Probably the "No eye contact with anyone" directive.

Dunno.

Let's try this again in bold, hopefully someone will assist.

I don't have cableTV... is there an online source to see last week's state and defense opening statements? (not reading the blog, but hearing the actual opening)?

In Jodi Arias's case I think she is playing games of 'Hangman's Noose'. After all she notified the world via a television broadcast that 'no jury will is going to convict me' she said, 'why not?' ' Because I am innocent, you can mark my words on that. No jury will convict me.'

This is part of it (audio only) but it's missing about 15 minutes of the state's opening. (Best I could find - sorry!)

ITA.. Also maybe he did not want his church to find out, if he had to go to court and get a restraining order it might get back to them.

No court today?

It's such a silly defense for this horrific crime. Poor, pitiful Jodi apparently found dating Travis confusing. He talked her into oral sex. Then, he talked her into anal sex. He even kept having phone sex with her too. He still didn't want to marry her! So, she had to shoot and stab, stab, stab him to death. It's a silly defense, IMO.

Rejection is no excuse to murder someone.

Defense story is Travis lunged at Jodi for dropping his camera, and in one minute she decided she had to stab and shoot him. What a crock, IMO.

Did you try you tube or you can find it on here https://www.facebook.com/Justice4Travis.

I think you will find at least one witness if not more that will be testifying that Jodi stalked them after they broke up.

With all due respect I am in the middle of a psych degree .I am fully aware of the biological reasoning behind why men are more likely to be less emotionally invested when sex is involved and why women are more apt to think
twice. There being a reason for it does not change the fact that
it is present and because "it is reality", it is glazed over by society.

It is ok if he continues to bed a "psychopath" because he is a man and
cannot help himself? His sex drive is so strong that he can ignore
her slitting his tires, her threats to friends and her apparent breakins?

He did nothing but accept sex from a psychopath? So he didn't
talk to her on the phone as witness by phone records? He didn't email
back and forth with her as discussed in court already?
He did not enter into a financial contract with her also represented in court?
While I do not think she's innocent I do think there is more to the
story. For those who think its cut and dry and all he did was objectify
the woman and that's fine. That's where I see a double standard.

Oh poor guy all he did was have sex with an unstable woman and pull her strings. While we are talking about biology I guess that means if she killed him out of jealousy ( a biologically motivated response as well) then she is hardly
responsible for her actions.

Please point me to one post that claims Travis could not control himself. If you can't, I would appreciate it if you did not put words in my mouth or others. You are distorting what posters he have said.

JMO, it's going to come down to a simple question. Did Jodi kill Travis due to her rage or her fear?

Travis's supporters who run that Facebook page posted a pic of Jodi in court last week. It's from the day she wore the green blouse. The point: JODI'S FINGERNAILS ARE BEAUTIFULLY MANICURED FRENCH TIPS!!

What kind of jail is that she's in, a BEAUTY SPA?! :jail:

I noticed this too. I am shocked Shes not in tons of makeup. Initially I thought it was because her prison did not allow makeup so she couldn't wear it to court but then why would she have her nails done?
