Joel Alan Brodsky

Well, we know in law school he was listening in "Discredit the Witness 101" but I think that was it.

Is Brodsky a criminal attorney? He doesn't seem very sure of himself unless a scripted dialogue. Last night on "Greta" he seemed to be so nervous and on the defensive! Loved how Greta got him to commit to coming on the show again with the "dreaded" panel of real defense attorneys-she slipped in the question so fast, I don't think Brodsky knew what he was agreeing to! Another opportunity for him to show off his ineptness. Wouldn't be surprised if he comes up with some excuse to back out! And this is the best taker that DP could find from his "Today" show plea for representation!!!!
My rant for the day.:)

I would LOVE to see Joel Brioschi go up against the attorneys on Greta. How much do you want to bet he doesn't! He KNOWS they'd rip him a new ***hole!!! :loser:

Did you see them on her show last night? "Bring him on" is what I kept hearing!!

ETA: It will be interesting to see if JAB chickens out tonight or not. Before last night's stupidity about Stacy and the preacher, he was scheduled to appear with Greta's group of lawyers.

I cannot even believe he said he 'received a few calls' regarding Stacy having an affair with the Pastor...When he said that, it literally turned my stomach to the point that I had to drink some Brioschi...he nauseates me! :banghead:

--->>>OOOH yes, Jefferson, Jason and Dick in that order. OR Jason, Jefferson and Dick. Or, hmmm.

Last night Greta said DP'sA had agreed to be ON tonight. She gave him a choice, come ON before the panel, after the panel, or be there withem.

DP'sA keeps sticking one foot then the other in his pie hole, can't wait.
I am wondering IF IF DP'sA had anything to do with the withdrawal of the media from DP's street?

OR if out of respect for the young children still living there, the ministers comment made the media think twice about public opinion, about the intrusion on the teenaged children at least. Has to be hard for those two teenagers.

.

Actually, Jefferson is a Dick. We clashed big time.

I am glad the media has backed off. They can get back there quick if they need to. I still have mixed emotions about the block parties and missing family gatherings in front of the house with the kids there. To the kids it must all seem like a lynch mob and must be scary for them.

Depends on what DrewP told them. If he was a 'concerned' parent, I would think he would keep them busy during those times. Or better yet, since those were situations in honor of their mothers, he could have sent the kids out to talk about how much they missed their mothers. Preventing the kids from honoring their mothers in public, makes me wonder how much they are able to honor her or express their pain in private.

I think Joel's initials are perfect for him. He takes a JAB at the ex-fiance, another JAB at the pastor, another JAB at Stacy....the list goes on. I've never seen anything like it.

That was a good one, Taximom. He is definately worse than Mark Geragos ever thought about being. You know, during Scott's trial, when they set the boat up, I honestly thought then that no decent human being would ever do such a sick and twisted thing, to stoop to suck a low depth as to recreate Laci's final journey, but then last night when Brodsky claimed that Stacy and the preacher were having an affair, I knew that I would NEVER see anyone sink any lower than what Brodsky just had done.

He is a total creep, and I hope the preacher sues him.

That actually scares me. Brodsky has been showing inocompetence throughout the whole time that he has been representing DrewP. And if he is also incompetent in trial, then that leaves DrewP with a good chance at winning an appeal for incompetent representation.

The only possibility that I see is if they charge him with both Stacy and Kathleen, then possibly they will put the DP on the table- and I don't know for sure, but something tells me that Brodsky isn't DP certified. Which means that DrewP will be looking for another attorney.

At Greta they are joking that Brodsky went thru a bar on the way to take the bar. lol.

I worry that Brodsky's attack everyone tactics are going to scare witnesses from coming forward. That's the most effective thing I can see that Brodsky has done. A method to his madness maybe?

Just so you get a better look at how we do things…behind the scenes…I am at the train station so since I have a few minutes, I called OTR producer Steph Watts. He is with Mark Fuhrman in Bolingbrook. When I called the two were busy planning their day…we get lots of tips in our tipbox and they have the job of chasing down the leads. Plus Steph got a very important call last night - in response to Stacy’s Pastor’s interview - and now Mark and Steph are re arranging their schedule to meet with someone. I also discussed with Steph his conversation with Joel Brodsky and Steph confirms Joel will be on the show tonight. I don’t dare ask Steph when he needs to leave there to come back east to see his family and for the holidays…he is doing a great job there and while I want him to ‘have a life’ - I also want to take advantage of his talents and sources. By the way - when he returns home is his decision..not mine

Can you help me understand this???
1/ Sgt. Peterson’s lawyer Joel Brodsky told us yesterday he was too busy to do our show last night. OK. Fine....

(snip)
My view? - Joel Brodsky started this so called “unprofessionalism” by his character assassination of a probably dead woman (who can’t defend her good name) and a pastor on television….why did he do that???

Judge delays Peterson's request to have seized items returned

"A Will County Circuit Court judge said today that he will decide Monday whether to grant Drew Peterson's request to have his two vehicles, 11 firearms and other items seized by police returned to him.

At a 20-minute hearing, Presiding Judge Daniel Rozak listened to arguments from the defense and prosecution before saying he would study case law before rendering a verdict.

Defense attorney John Carroll, who has joined Joel Brodsky in representing Peterson, a suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, told Rozak that police have had sufficient time to analyze the seized property and that authorities are withholding the items to vex Peterson."

I think this new attorney joining Brodsky explains alot of things, such as why Brodsky decided NOT to go on Greta tonight, even though he previously specifically requested to go head to head with the brats.
I think that Brodsky was having regular Tuesday night meetings with other attorneys to help him brainstorm. I think that last night they decided to have this new attorney join the team. And, I also think that is the reason for the website seeking funds. Brodsky might be willing to do this for no or low fees, but would another attorney agree to the same? If so, why?

Okay--I'm confused (not surprising).
Is Mr. Brodsky going to be on Greta tonight??

Oh look! How coincidental!
Wasn't Brodsky talking about the need to hire a private investigator?

Attorney John Paul Carroll Selects Chard.Net for Web Site Design

Chicago attorney John Paul Carroll has selected Chard.Net to design his law firm’s new website. Mr. Carroll, who is also a Chicago private investigator, has a practice that focuses on serious personal injury and serious criminal defense. Will County Assistant State's Atty. John Connor called the defense's request an attempt to "put a clock" on the police investigation and said Rozak signed three of the four warrants on the basis of probable cause.

"What counsel is trying to do is either a fishing expedition or to put a lock on what we're doing," Connor said. "Your honor, this is very early in the game, and we're here addressing matters that should not be addressed at this time."

Carroll countered, saying what is at issue is how long police have to hold items in their possession.

"Assuming the search warrants are beautiful--they're so beautiful they make a law professor cry--the point is how long can they hold them? We're saying they've had enough time," he said.

Actually, Greta's show ought to be a hoot tonite. They really gave it to Bodsky last night over his appearance on Abrams and accusing the minister of having an affair with Stacy. LOL, now this!!:slap:

Oh, and Mark Fuhrman has uncovered something. So stay tuned to Greta OTR tonite!;)
