John already irritating Michigan citizens

I just think the people in MI should know the hard, cold facts of John Ramseys backround. How could people think we are nuts when we present only the truth that can be verified? I wonder if that nut Mrs. B, that lives in MI has anything to do with his campaign. She probably follows the Ramseys around wherever they go.
Bottom line....when anyone comes under a cloud of suspicion, they usually did something to get there. Innocent or guilty. I trust the good people of Michigan understand this. Unless of course they'd like to have their own personal "slick willy" except JR could never match the wiles of Bill even on his best day. I'm not sure if he likes cigars either.

John Ramsey has not been truthful about what happened to JonBenet. His lies, his arrogance, and his disdain for law enforcement hardly makes him a fit candidate to represent anyone, much less the general populace of Northern Michigan
.

Where's Ken Starr when you really need him? ;)

Here's a man he could really sink his teeth into

Cherokee love your comments!

You are right Barbara...what was I thinking? However I don't really care to hear the swamp leader's lame excuses. Knowing John and Patsy after all these years, I think I can come up with some Ramseyish excuses.

Perhaps an interrogation?
Kane: Ramsey what has the JonBenet Ramsey Foundation accomplished?
John: What foundation?
Patsy: This is the first I've heard of it.
Kane: Mr. Ramsey you are the president!
John: I am?
Kane: Patsy you filled out the paperwork!
Patsy: I, most assuredly did not.
Woody: On a scale of 1 to 5, Patsy rated a 4.5 as not being the author of the paperwork.
John: It's obviously some hoax, some one wants to make money off our tragedy.

Show Me, my friend, you are inspired!

KANE: John, what happened to the SHOES Foundation?
JRAMSEY: I wasn't there, and Burke didn't have any.
KANE: Have any what?
JRAMSEY: Hi-Tek shoes, and I refuse to take a polygraph.
KANE: I'm asking about the Foundation.
PRAMSEY: Just get off it, okay? John Ramsey had nothing to do with any SHOES Foundation ... go back to the drawing board.
KANE: But Patsy, it says on the cover of DOI the proceeds were going to the Foundation ...
PRAMSEY: I don't know, um, I mean, it was like ... you know, I was ... and John was ... then it was like, um, I just can't ... I don't remember.

You know Show Me, you are really cruel. You are asking Maikai to come up with answers at a time when Susan Bennett has not been around much to help her with getting answers to give us. You know as well as the rest of us that there is no individual thought, as evidenced by her posts, and yet you are asking her to come up with answers to questions that she is not allowed to comment on without permission!

Now that you mention it, SB hasn't been around much, so I guess I can't answer the Foundation question until I check with her. lol

The motives for the Foundation were purely a grief-stricken parents reaction to the murder of their daughter. Many others have started various foundations for similar reasons. JR answered that question--he wanted to find a way to honor his daughter. No one would listen to him, though, because of the smears put out in the public arena. How could he possibly raise any money for the Foundation?

This explanation would be a reasonable one. Lots of people make decisions during an emotional time that they later realize will not turn out as intended, no matter how well meaning. However, that does not seem to be the case here.

When their paperback came out, the foundation had already been all but closed, yet they continued to claim that the proceeds would go to this charity.

When asked on LKL, THEY did not provide the above explanation that would have satisfied the curious. Patsy went on to say that the foundation had recently donated money to a children's camp.

THEY did not, as usual, tell the truth that they thought it would be wonderful, but given the nature of the foundation and the controversy, it wasn't successful. THEY instead chose to lie once again when they had a wonderful opportunity to tell the truth, especially since the public already knew the answer and now the very people they chose to impress with the foundation can check and see that they are not of the high moral character they try to portray.

Where Is Waldo?

SB didn't seem to be thrilled with the way Ramsey's campaign is being handled. Maybe she put on her Shoes and hit the road to Michigan to take over the show again?!

All I know is that it's not the Same without her around.... :woohoo:

Well said Barbara! Maikai doesn't seem to get the point....if you keep bragging on tv, and to increase sales on your book, about a non existant foundation to futher your political ambitions....you are decietful LIARS. Not grieving parents.

John doesn't need anyone's help to smear him.....he's doing it fine on his own. Check out the foundations activities....a few token donations over the years to the Ramsey's church, Ramsey's camp.....nearly all donations went to futher the Ramsey's OWN interest. To hell with the others. Even Mark Klass was disgusted with Ramsey.

It was never a true foundation....only a tax write off for the Ramseys.
------

The voters in Michigan need to be aware of John's track record.

His non-speak on issues.

His fondness for storing old records in a airplane hanger (which coincidentaly houses his OWN plane) and having someone else pay for it.

His grandiouse praise of himself with his schemes....and his unability to carry thru with his plans.

His finely honed ability to disclaim any responsibility for his actions...others did it or made him do it.

His need to raise up to 200,000 dollars just to win the primary...when the previous representative won both primary and election for 15,000 dollars....WHO DO YOU WANT SPENDING YOUR TAX DOLLARS MICHIGAN? AND WATCH WHAT YOU SAY, 'CAUSE IF JOHN DOESN'T LIKE IT, HE'LL HAVE HIS LAWYER SUE YOU.

Where's my copy of DOI?

With a little research, it seems that it was not a tax write off, but a profitable endeavor for the Ramseys!

Why not look at it in a positive way? Without her around, you are getting information and theories and opinions that are not censored and you may actually see things you haven't noticed before. They may not coincide with what you have been led to believe, but you may even begin to wonder about the things you took as gospel before. It's a good thing!

Sheltered education was never productive.

Barbara you are correct....I can't remember where the info was from. It was well documented.

John and Patsy can certainly put up a website asking for money...but nary a word on the active/defunct foundation....especially since JonBenet gave John a 'platform' to run on!
