John & Beth Dating

Thanks Solace and Ames for posting the rest of the interview text.
Too bad Tom Haney let this unique opprtunity slip by. He could have gone on with words showing Patsy his sympathy and chances are that she would have gone on talking without realizing she had trapped herself.

Rash, as with a lot of the bullsh*% going on in this case, the Ramseys could claim that she meant John's scream was the same as when he brought JB up from the basement. And yes, that is possible. And so a good lawyer could nullify it in a second.
No doubt they would try to explain it away like that, claiming it "had all run together" in Patsy' memory.

"I have said it before and I will repeat it, that is as good as DNA for me. John is involved in the staging of this crime."

Or it could be her remembering John's reaction when he went into the basement after she told him what had happened. I imagine he did scream.
The fiber evidence points to John's involvement, but don't Patsy's fibers in the paint tray, in the wrappings of the garrote and on the duct tape implicate her too? I believe Patsy started staging the garrote scene, (the clumsily done knots point in this direction too), but then had to stop because she could not bring herself to inflict more damage to the vagina with the paintbrush. She then asked John to take over and put underwear on JB (the package with the bloomies may have been in the basement's storage area). jmo

Yes, but then why are John's sweater's fibers not in the garrote - they should be?

--->>>With all of the panic of 'that' night, perhaps he was not wearing his sweater, it would have been too hot.
Running up and down the stairs, etc.

JMO, but I don't think her underwear was changed until the staging was revised to leave her in the house. And I think JR did that so he wouldn't get the blame for the sexual assault...I think wiping, redressing and covering her was an attempt to hide it since she would now be found in the house.

I think they were BOTH there together in the basement. Both involved in the staging/coverup.

This was my original theory too. She may have even started the garotte scene...and couldn't go through with IT...so John stepped in for that and then the damage with the paintbrush. There is NO DOUBT that John placed those huge bloomies on her, something that only a MAN would do.

I agree, and for that matter,I wonder how difficult it would be to prove who did what, and even if they had gotten arrested, would it have led to a conviction for either of them?Because as long as they were legally married, neither would be required to testify against the other.
