Rutherfordton is about 1/2 way between Charlotte and Asheville and just north of the SC border.

I wish there was a picture of the cufflinks or watches. The dates of the coins to me suggest that this Doe died longer ago then the estimated PMI (which has been wrong before), but the other thing that suggests that to me is the general deterioration of things like the belt, or just buttons (?) being left of his clothing.

I wonder if there is DNA on this case? I did a search of old newspapers online, but could find nothing on this Doe.
