The size 12s had to have come from the unwrapped gifts in the basement, the ones that actually appear in crime scene photos. If they had been available to JBR to use, the other 6 pairs would have been found and taken into evidence along with ALL the rest of her underwear. There were no other size 12s. There would have been no reason for the Rs to hide/remove them- if they had not had some link to the crime or staging. So the fact they were not there suggests PR is lying about giving Jenny's gift to JBR instead.
The fact that the Rs sent along a pack of size 12 months (or was it years?) later means that they or Aunt P DID remove them from the house before LE gathered evidence there. It has never been made public as far as I know, if the Rs sent 6 pairs (with the "Wednesday" pair that was found on JBR still in custody as evidence) or the complete set of 7 pairs, obviously proving that this was a new set and not the original set PR admitted to purchasing for Jenny. Would they really be that stupid?
As far as the small amount of blood (a few drops) on the panties not corresponding to the significant amount of blood that would have necessitated wiping down of her thighs/pubic area- obviously her panties had been pulled down for the vaginal assault, no matter which pair she had been wearing. The long johns had no blood- meaning either they had been pulled off completely, or the amount of blood that dripped after wiping was not enough to stain the long johns, only to stain the panties.
DeeDee249,

Maybe , maybe not. Remember John was in and out of the wine-cellar transferring xmas-gifts to his plane, So if there were any size-12's in there he might know about them since Patsy may have said just leave those behind?
If you re-read Patsy's question and answer session you will find that she suggested that
two packs of size-12's were purchased at Bloomingdales. One for Jenny and one for JonBenet. Later during the interview she professes memory loss repeatedly for being unable to restate whether she purchase one or two packs of Bloomingdales size-12's!
So this is when the investigators demolish Patsy's story regarding JonBenet and the size-12's. The interviewer asks Patsy if there had been
two packs of Bloomingdales size-12's purchased then there should be another pack of size-12's lying about the house? Patsy agrees, then she is told that there are
no size-12's in JonBenet's panty drawer.
Now the question of interest to those who think that the size-12's originated in the basement is: why was the remaining 6-pairs of size-12's removed?
Also if Patsy simply returns 6-pairs then she is returning crime-scene evidence, but what if she returned a full pack of seven, unopened, later claiming this must be the second set I purchased for Jenny?
So someone removed the size-12's theoretically all 13 pairs, yet Patsy claims she placed 7 pairs into JonBenet's panty drawer. Now Patsy was the person who redressed JonBenet in the size-12's, as some claim, then why should she tell the investigators that she placed 7-pairs of size-12 Bloomingdales into JonBenet's panty drawer? She would know in advance that they were gone?
So the big question is why bother to remove 6-pairs of size-12's? This a staging error, so big the Ramsey's later returned a pack of size-12's.
The conclusion that I draw from the above is that Patsy was
not person who removed the crime-scene evidence, or even requested it be removed by some other third party.
e.g. Patsy during her interview is lying through her teeth, ignorant that the size-12's had been removed from the crime-scene, possibly right up until the point where she is gently reminded that if two packs of size-12's were purchased then another pack should be elsewhere in the house?
