Rottenborn argues Depp asked for "more ecstasy and cocaine" in the days following his finger injury. Depp: I was asking for ecstasy because that's what was requested by Miss Heard.

Just have to say, Heard wasn’t a squeaky clean innocent in all of this drug and alcohol use. It appears that she liked her ecstasy, coke, wine (not talking about sipping on a glass either), etc, etc.

Out of curiosity, are you basing your opinion of this judge just on this trial alone?

When Depp was on direct they were continually trying to get in statements made by third parties. This is hearsay, therefore not allowed. In fact, I think if this went on in a criminal trial, she would have given them a stern warning early on.

Maybe that stern warning early on would have made me respect her more. I wish she would have done that.

Yes, I am basing it off of what I'm seeing in this trial. I understand what hearsay is, but IMO she is quick to side with the defense to the point that it made her seem biased. Just my non professional opinion.

Here's a look at one of the "reminders" that Depp wrote following the finger injury. Depp agrees the the message reads "Starring Billy Bob and Easy Amber."

This message is in reference to the 2018 movie "London Fields," which Heard starred in alongside Billy Bob Thornton and James Franco.

Haven't been too impressed with Depp's legal team. Just for today there could be so many objections for improper impeachment, yet she sits silent. Maybe it is some kind of strategy so she can make the defense look like huge liars on redirect.

Depp testified yesterday that he lied about how he hurt his finger, telling doctors he cut it in an accordion door. Rottenborn now references a statement in which it was cut with a kitchen knife.

as for the testimony being a surprise, all of it should be new to the Virginia jury, so yes, they have to have it all over again.

a large reason why I keep giving JD the benefit of the doubt is, chronic pain legitimately sucks. I’ve had varying stages of lumbago, sciatica and plantar faascitiis for about 15 years now, and it’s very frustrating when nothing is denting your chronic pain.

I agree.
I suffer from neck pain. I happened to have had two beers with dinner out and realized my pain was less. It’s a scary realization.
