She feared she would perish in an attack by JD where he allegedly compressed her neck and told her: 'I'm going to f**king kill you and I'll 🤬🤬🤬🤬 your corpse'.

He threatened to kill her many times and would blame all his actions on a self-created third person he dubbed 'the monster' during 3years of marriage where she felt 'powerless'.

He told her that the only way to escape their marriage was to die.

She alleges that he repeatedly threatened to have her raped by other men and told her after one row on a flight, 'When we land, I can call some black brothers who can 🤬🤬🤬🤬 you if you're so desperate for it'. He also allegedly told her, 'I will cut up your face so no one will want you ever again' and about how he knew people who could 'break a leg, real cheap'.

She alleges he beat her and abused her often while on drink and drug binges including one occasion in Australia where she claims she was held hostage for three days.

In her bombshell witness statement she also claims:

If she attempted to seduce him while wearing something 'sexy' - he would call her '🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬', '🤬🤬🤬🤬', 'fame-hungry', 'gold-digger' and 'an attention 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬'. Later he would say, 'well I'm going to have to watch you get raped' and 'I hope you get railed by a bunch of f**king fellas.'

He held Boo out of the window of the moving car while 'howling like a dog';

On her 30th birthday in April 2016 she claims Mr Depp repeatedly pushed her over, smashed pictures and photographs around the apartment and left a note saying: 'Happy F**king Birthday'.

Rick Wood was hired as the couple's security guard while the newlyweds were in Australia in 2015 and Depp was filming a Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
Mr Wood described Depp as "laid-back" and "great" during his time on the Gold Coast.
"He stays in character so he's pretty much Jack Sparrow - great bloke," Mr Woods said.
"I couldn't see it in him and in my industry you know who's a wife-beater and who's not," Mr Wood said.
Mr Wood said he had "never" seen Depp do drugs or drink and described Heard as someone who "stirs the pot".
Mr Wood says he edited a security report for Disney before it went to back to the movie giant, downplaying Heard's bizarre behavior.
"She made up this big drama she was leaving, taxis would turn up we would have to wave them away and then we would pick up the suitcase and there was nothing in it," Mr Wood said.
"All for show some drama, look at me."

Ms Heard said Mr Depp told her he did not want a pre-nuptial agreement but it was his sister, Christi Dembrowski, who wanted the couple to get one.

"He mentioned... it was more about Christi, his sister, who handled most of his affairs.

"He said it was Christi, that he didn't want that [the pre-nuptial agreement], that he trusted me and, as he said to me time and time again, the only way out of this was death."

Ms Heard added that she had hired a lawyer who worked on a draft pre-nuptial agreement and it was sent to Mr Depp's team but never signed.

Text messages were read out in court, showing Mr Depp's sister had told him to get an agreement signed.
Challenged over whether Mr Depp did want a pre-nuptial agreement, Ms Heard said "I had no idea. He told me he didn't. What Johnny told me is that he would look it up and that the only way out of this was death.

"He told me this time and time again and I offered time and time again to sign whatever it was that he or his team needed or wanted.

"I made it very clear from the early days... that I was not interested in Johnny's money, I never had been, I never was."

She was asked about five penthouse apartments in the Eastern Columbia Building in Los Angeles, which her sister and friend moved into.

Asked whether they paid any rent, Ms Heard said: "No, Johnny wouldn't let them."

"He is very good at manipulating people," said Ms Heard, alleging he was violent and she feared for her life.

"Some incidents were so severe that I was afraid he was going to kill me, either intentionally or just by losing control and going too far," she said.

Ms Heard, 34, claimed Mr Depp had a "unique ability to use his charisma to convey a certain impression of reality" and "he is very good at manipulating people".

"He would blame all his actions on a self-created third party instead of himself, which he often called 'the monster'.

"He would speak about it as if it was another person or personality and not him doing all these things."

She said in the beginning of their relationship, he would be "intensely affectionate, warm and charming" and it felt like she was "dating a king".

Johnny Depp threatened to carve and disfigure Amber Heard’s face if she left him, repeatedly demeaned her and often physically attacked her.
......and on one occasion told her: “I’m going to have to watch you get raped.”

Asked by Mr Justice Nicol whether she “threw pots and pans at Mr Depp”, Heard said: “Only to escape him.”

They both have issues, and AH is a liar, JMO.

I know! I mean, WHO freakin lives like this??? Was the lawsuit worth all this personal cr@p being publicized??? To what end result???

ITA this is absolutely insane.
It’s probably worth it to JD if he wants to set the record straight if lies were told about him.

This is revolting. Both of them are made in hell for each other. I don’t even read it, it’s to maddening.

I have been following this but not posting. I have to say, they both seem like monsters capable of manipulating and harming people. I think they were in a mutually abusive relationship with both being offenders. She clearly is not innocent in this and has participated in abuse just as much. (And did so sober, which IMO is more calculating.) I am a little baffled at the people who think because AH seems like a totally abusive loser, that it somehow appeases JD of any guilt here. He is clearly (IMO) completely unstable, volatile, and has serious issues with substances abusive behaviors. As someone who works with abused folks, I abhor the argument that being good to someone in the past is proof they can't hurt others. It's used a lot against victims and it's just pathetic. I don't believe for a second that he wasn't also abusive and manipulative. They are gas-lighting the heck out of each other. That is not to say that I believe she doesn't play an equal part.

Physically, he just looks awful. (I mean from a health standpoint.) I can't see how this has helped him, it has really damaged his marketability...not that I feel that's important...but I assume it is to him. I'm not sure she would have a huge long-term career based on what I feel her talent level is, but it's probably damaged as well.

They both seem like awful people. They are so stuck in this cycle of insanity that they felt this would be worth it.

@blue22 you summed up so many of my thoughts, quite nicely. They are both horrible people and it's shocking that JD thought this court case was a good idea. It's like a contest, who is the worst person? And apparently, everyone they know is a freeloader.

Ms Laws put it to AH that the evidence in her US deposition when she filed for a restraining order that she was “extremely afraid” of JD was “not true”. AH replied, “That is absolutely not true. I was petrified of the monster that Johnny could become.”

Ms Laws pointed out that in the deposition Ms Heard said she’d had “no contact” with JD after the alleged incident on May 21, 2016. AH said at that point she was trying to get a restraining order so JD could not come to her apartment. She said, “Johnny left the apartment after hitting me and then breaking objects. I heard a door smash, I heard him screaming, I heard him go into my apartment.”

She said she repeatedly asked security not to let Mr Depp into her apartment.
