Two disgusting, abusive human beings.I hope to never hear either of their names again.
Well said...I see no difference in them.

Well said...I see no difference in them.

Heard’s form of gaslighting and enmeshment seems particularly heinous to me, wherein she has plainly tried the game of blaming him for any abuse, insofar as the good old ‘I am very invested in convincing my partner that the only reason I behave this way, is that they have driven me to it with the intensity of our loooooove. When they get hit it’s their fault, really’; exists and has been deployed by many a partner in their past.

I also think that in light of this type of aggression, her pretenses of ‘but I’m just rendered toooooooo stunnnnnnnnned’ to react!!’’ ring particularly hollow; and seem more like something she’s absorbed as a result of being told about its commonality in DV relationships because, that’s the other side of the ‘witnesses lifetime of domestic abuse on the part of parental figures’ coin.

I understand she can feel both; but that’s the flip side:

Witnesses to abuse often grow up to be the abuser.

I very much think that’s Amber; and you can tell it by/in her choice of words.

She’s literally said ‘my parents had an abusive relationship; but they loved each other very much.’

most people would in fact instantly, instantly respond with ‘oh sweetie, that’s not some grand love.’

She’s also borderline said that violence = love (the testimony of their residential caretaker in Australia, site of the alleged three-day nonstop ‘blackout’ and ‘hostage’ situation - because nobody’s been wondering and worrying where their star is, when he’s supposed to be on a set filming, by her team’s own questions yesterday to his sister; the overwhelming majority of people, even abusers, would be too conscious of this potential impingement of third parties at any point, to be running around chopping off their own finger when they’re expected to be on a set) was, literally:

‘Have you ever been so angry at someone that you just lost it?’

Well, she’s literally told us she has.

In her own words.

Literally and figuratively by her actions; and then she’s also said out loud to him (paraphrasing, but this is the gist):

‘oh, boo-hoo, what are you gonna do, go to the authorities and tell people the great powerful wealthy movie star Johnny Depp can’t control his own wife, who hits him?’

I mean, I’ve never been in a physically abusive relationship myself, just an occasional reluctant witness to one; but this sounds very much like the talk of an abuser to me, and not their victim.

Amber Heard's Ex-Assistant Says Star 'Twisted' Her Rape Story for 'Own Use' in Johnny Depp Case
"She referred directly to a violent rape that occurred to me 26 years ago and she twisted it into her own story and she used it for her own use," James testified. "This of course caused me extreme distress and outrage that she would dare to attempt to use the most harrowing experience of my life as her own narrative."

^^^^ THIS ! ^^^^

yeah… that one’s not great either.

Amber has showed quite clearly on multiple occasions by her testimony on the prior case, to possess Lori Vallow-levels of projection.

By which I mean, she blames everyone else and claims that they are in fact the people causing chaos; when in reality, she has just flipped the script and accuse them of being the people engaging in HER behaviors.

this has been Heard’s primary, if not near-sole, justification voiced throughout the process of the entire mess:

‘But, but but but, him first! He started it!’

Regardless in fact of ‘who started it’ (and I’d say there’s equal evidence it’s her); it’s never her fault; like Veruca Salt in Veruca’s own mind, she’s just reacting logically and appropriately to being thwarted by the big bad world.

She rarely, if ever, appears to say ‘you know, I should be the bigger person here. I should let this go.’

It’s literally not in her (no pun intended; I swear) makeup.

No, she’d prefer to literally go down swinging.

She chases him into rooms, when he’s trying/preferring to practice conflict avoidance, as has been his wont for, it seems, nearly all his life; and when he does so, she calls this, and by extension him, basically a coward and a weakling; in the same way abusive men from time immemorial have called women ‘babies’ etc., for ‘not being able to take a little pain’.

It’s Heard who equates violence with love, IMO. Not Johnny.

Johnny Depp’s sister: Amber Heard called bro an ‘old fat man’
Amber Heard once called Johnny Depp an “old fat man” and questioned why French fashion house Dior would ever want to work with him, the actor’s sister testified on Tuesday…..
When Depp told Heard that Dior was interested in a campaign with him, she was “in disbelief and sort of disgusted,” the sister claimed. “Dior, why would Dior want to do business with you? They’re about class and style, and you don’t have style,” Heard allegedly said.

Frankly her thoughts are exactly what I thought. He really does not look good in the courtroom and while clearly he has and probably still can get the beautiful ladies I think it fitting that Dior only wanted him for their "Sauvage" fragrance line for men...not fashion at all.

What is the main reason( other than a last ditch attempt to ignite his career to the level he enjoyed years ago ) that Depp thinks the result in US will be different than UK. Star power better here?

IMO, it is probably a matter of soothing his ego, trying to clear his name and be able to get work again (roles for him have been dropped during this).

This trial in the US is much different than the one in the UK where he sued The Sun newspaper that described him as a wife beater, and The Sun prevailed in that case. There was no jury in the UK and only heard and ruled by the judge

True enough, but if JD loses he's going to be in worse shape than before he started filing lawsuits. IMO

This is why I believe JD, he has way too much to lose. Apparently, if he loses he has to pay 100 million! I am trying to find article where I read this. My apologies in advance.

Do we have any details on the makeup (sex, race, age, etc) of this jury?

i looked it up and indeed there is also a cream to cover things called amica. I don't think Issac as charming as he was really knows if someone has makeup on or not. I am sure she is very skilled at makeup and natural looking is what she goes for most of the time.

RSBM

You found amica cream that covers things? Can you share more info? Is it a brand or ?? Was that what they asked Gina Deuters about... arnica? or amica? Whatever it is, I think I might need some.

That’s what Heard is requesting in a counter suit. It doesn’t mean she would get that if he loses.

If I remember correctly, Chanley Painter of CTV said 8 were men, most jurors were young …she guessed under 40.

Johnny Depp Struggled to Detoxify from Drugs During Amber Heard Relationship, His Doctor Testifies
During Depp's defamation trial against Amber Heard in Fairfax, Virginia, on Thursday, Beverly Hills doctor David Kipper's deposition (recorded on Feb. 22) was played for the courtroom. In the testimony, Kipper recalled his time spent with the Pirates of the Caribbean star as the actor attempted to "detoxify from his substance abuse" while engaged to Heard. The substances included alcohol, opiates, benzodiazepines and stimulants, according to Kipper.
