Posted on the docket today. The judge in #JohnnyDepp v #AmberHeard granted Depp's motion to exclude Eve Barlow from the courtroom for the duration of the trial.

Turaj also found AMICA cream that covers things and I was curious what that is. (see quoted post) ;)

Thanks, I know what arnica cream is... I've used it (and never noticed a difference on my fair skin).

Yeah. That would be interesting!!

Eve Barlow, a supporter of #AmberHeard, has been banned from the courtroom for the remainder of the trial for being caught using her cellphone in the courtroom on Thursday. Use of electronics is prohibited with the exception of members of #JohnnyDepp and Heard's legal teams.

My suspicion only, but while I was watching the trial yesterday, when Ms Gina Deuters ( who eventually was asked to leave) was on the stand , there was some fast and furious blue post it notes passed, and looks into the gallery coming from AH and to her attorneys. I suspect that Ms Barlow was looking on her phone at Ms Gina Deuters social media, where she might have said she was watching the trial. The removal of Ms Deuters happened very quickly after a sidebar was finally called. My guess, JD's side either saw it happen live, or reviewed footage and saw Ms Barlow on the phone, and saw this exchange....prompting them to request the reprimand from the judge

Well said...I see no difference in them.
IMO, that's a win on Depp's side. Then the jury might decide she wasn't truthful in the Washington Post article when she claimed she was the victim of domestic abuse.

It's a genuinely interesting question to me: can you claim to be a victim if you were also a perperator (when no one else was involved except the co-abusers).

To me, it also reflects on the principle of 'no fault' divorce, which has been adopted precisely for the reason that no one has to prove which of the marriage partners were innocent and which guilty. Plus, they both signed a non-disclosure agreement as a condition of the divorce, and she received $7 million for a little over 1 year of marriage.

IMO, Depp would far rather reveal the details of his insane, short, relationship with her, than forever (and presumably continually) be labelled by her and others as an abuser. IMO, he's trying to salvage his past reputation.

I've never seen a reason for why, after living common-law with Vanessa Paradis, he officially married Heard. I'm not sure whether things would be different if they hadn't.

You found amica cream that covers things? Can you share more info? Is it a brand or ?? Was that what they asked Gina Deuters about... arnica? or amica? Whatever it is, I think I might need some.
ARNICA was the one I am familar with and no it is not a coverup as such but takes the darkness out of bruises faster than natures healing...or so it claims. I had not heard about AMICA so did some googling and found it is a line of products Amica Skin Care | Clinical Skincare Products. I assume it is using the same stuff modified. To be precise I am not finding a specific cover up as found in Dermablend but my point is I think she could have covered things up if she wanted. Since I am one of the few around not having formed any opinion at all on these two trying to see all sides.

Link is not helpful. Who is Eve Barlow? What is connection to this trial? Can you provide a working link?

That link didn't work for you? It's the Fairfax County VA court site.

You should see "Select the appropriate High-Profile Case from the drop down menu to see the list of documents made available by the Circuit Court." then chose John C Depp II v Amber Laura Heard.

Actually, many of the documents there are helpful.

ETA: Oh, I now see you found info that works for you.

Thank you! Dang, I was hoping it was something magical I might use since arnica didn't do anything :(

Arnica is amazing. I've found it works best if you use the topical as well as the sublingual/oral

It is! A friend fell down stairs and horribly bruised her lower back, butt, and upper leg…nasty black bruises. She put arnica on those areas and after a couple days the bruises were still visible, but soooo much better! It sold me on this stuff.

If I remember correctly, Chanley Painter of CTV said 8 were men, most jurors were young …she guessed under 40.
She also said that there are 7 jurors and 4 alternates.

Yeah, arnica does nothing for me either, as I bruise everywhere and dramatically at the slightest impulse, being best described in skin pigment as "ghost crayfish". (My mother hates it; she's always saying to me "How can you not know where you got that bruise??!" It's a good thing I usually live alone and can't get a significant other in trouble at my annual physicals, lol).

Retired critical care nurse here: massaging a bruise will help the tissues absorb the displaced blood under the skin faster. Does it matter if any type of ointment is used in conjunction? That's the question. Anti-inflammatories? Maybe.... But even those of us who bruise easily will notice a natural progression of the phases of a bruise within a few days. Does it happen more quickly with certain ointments or creams? I don't know. I just know basic physiology and how most bodies respond.

Thanks, there are definitely some topicals where I've been dubious about their efficacy. (Not anaesthetics, though. That Lidocaine is boss.)

I used Arnica gel and pills after surgery and it did absolutely nothing. I should have listened to my doctor.

Frankly the amica/arnica is somewhat of a "red herring" to me....putting it out there. I take more stock in good professional quality makeup that can and does often cover some major things on people's faces. I just don't think you can discount that.

Thanks @fred&edna for the assistance. I see how the Fairfax County VA website works now.

It's amazing for botox and fillers. it makes a profound difference. Not sure about surgery.
