Nor do I. And I'd really like to hear just what about JR's account of climbing in through the window sounds like he's relating a real incident.
Nuisanceposter said:I voted for he completely made it up. Why would he say, "That's probably how I would have done it?" Either he did that way or he didn't - how does "probably" come in unless he doesn't really know what he's talking about because he hasn't done it? He doesn't even remember which direction he was facing. Come on. It just doesn't sound like he's remembering a real incident.
I voted that John is lying about the window, for the same reason that you did. The words "probably" and "would have"...are crucial here.Nuisanceposter said:I voted for he completely made it up. He lied to his first wife and carried out an affair.
BlueCrab, nice to see you!!

I think the story goes that he came home in a cab and didn't have the opener. I'm taking off soon, and don't have time to look, but I'm thinking that's the case.

rashomon said:Brilliant observation, Tea! For John Ramsey actually theorizes how he "would have" climbed through that window, which suggests that he never did climb through it.
I'm no native speaker - what exactly does John mean by "face-forward"? That he nose-dived through the window into the basement?
snowqueen said:Face-forward would mean he was facing the basement not outside.
Where do you get that he "nose-dived through the window?"
I don't John ever claimed to have nose-dived into the basement, did it?Show Me said:The thought is hilarious! I don't think John could nose dive down that little bitty window well into the basement.
I think John left the shoe mark on the wall himself...and of course with John's weak memory he forgot to tell the cops the window was open and duh....pedophile, monitoring foreign faction kidnapper man might have 'nose dived' into the basement.

Sounds like someone's over active imagination - IMO.
John's weak memory? Keep in mind - people have had ten years to pick apart and find every inconsistency in what the Ramseys said. And in most case those inconsistencies don't mean a thing.
Better yet, why don't you list those inconsistencies and let's look at them one by one.........BlueCrab said:snowqueen,
I respectfully disagree. John's "inconsistencies" began on day one, not 10 years later. And those inconsistencies (lies) during the murder investigation is obvious evidence of a coverup.
Who is he covering up for?
