Better yet, why don't you list those inconsistencies and let's look at them one by one.........

snowqueen,

There have been dozens of "inconsistencies" (a nice way of saying lies) in the Ramseys' versions of what happened. But probably the most important ones occurred on day one (December 26, 1996). For instance, John said Burke slept through all of the events that night and "doesn't know a thing". With that he was quickly ushered out of the house at 7:00 AM and taken to the White's house without being questioned by the police at the Ramsey's house.

But several months later background noises at the end of Patsy's 911 call at 5:52 AM that morning were professionally enhanced by the cops and the enhancement picked up Burke's voice and John's voice on the 911 tape. Therefore, John had lied about Burke being upstairs in bed at 5:52 AM. Burke wasn't upstairs in bed at all at 5:52 AM; he was downstairs in the kitchen talking to his parents. And he had been in the kitchen for awhile because, on the tape, John was strongly admonishing Burke about something.

The cops didn't tell the Ramseys they had all three of their voices caught on tape at the end of the 911 call. The cops waited until after the police interviews of 1997 and 1998 were completed. During those interviews John, Patsy, and Burke each conspiratorily incriminated themselves in separate interviews by saying Burke was upstairs in bed until 7:00 AM and was then taken to the White's house. All three knew better, but they lied.

Why was John lying and covering up the whereabouts of Burke at 5:52 AM on the morning of the murder? This was a significant "inconsistency", and put in doubt everything else the Ramseys said had happened that morning.

There is still debate about the tapes. I've heard them and I don't believe Burke's voice is on the tapes.

Snowqueen, it's a known fact that in several interviews, John claimed it was his idea to call the police because he needed to assuage Patsy's hysteria, and that in other interviews and statements (first crock leaps to mind) she claimed it was all her idea.

Exactly! PP should have been arrested for carting all of the evidence out of the house, too. And the Ramsey's AND Pam should have been charged with Obstruction of Justice and/or Withholding evidence....along with a murder charge for the Ramsey's. IMO A total failure of the justice system....is the way I see it.
And would you suggest that the police officers who helped Pam be arrested as accomplices?

Hey, now that would have not been a bad idea. :D Or they should have at least been suspended from the force for awhile.

Do you know how many times they were asked they question?
Have you ever been in a traumatic situation? If you have, you realize how you can't remember the details - bit, by bit, by bit. And I saw them on LKL and it didn't seem to me that either one was contradicting (or speaking) for the other.

Einstein said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result. Thing is, they always got a different result!

"Have you ever been in a traumatic situation? If you have, you realize how you can't remember the details - bit, by bit, by bit."

Oh, yeah? I remember my father's death like it was yesterday.

snowqueen,

You didn't hear Burke's voice on the enhanced 911 tape because that tape has never been released to the public. All you heard was the unenhanced 911 tape available to everyone.

In one of John's interviews, when asked when he last saw JB alive...he thought a minute, answered the question and then had to ask Patsy if it was correct. I believe that I would have it burned in my brain, the last time that I saw my child alive, and wouldn't have to ask my spouse for confirmation.

I remember a lot about my mother's and my father's deaths but for them to die before me is the norm.

However, when I accounted how my granddaughter's leg was broken on the slide, my son said to me, "That's not what you said the first time."

Big difference in a parent dying and a child being murdered.

I'm not sure I could remember my name if I was placed under the stress the Ramseys had to endure.

From the Aerospace Corp. Homepage:

"Since 1960 The Aerospace Corporation has operated a federally funded research and development center in support of national-security, civil and commercial space programs. We're applying the leading technologies and the brightest minds in the industry to meet the challenges of space. "

I do believe that these people know what they are doing.

  • Aerospace Analysis. At the request of BPD, Aerospace Corporation which reportedly had more advanced equipment for such analysis, conducted a test of the 911 tape. The official report from Aerospace was given to BPD in May 1997, but has never been released to the public. In August 1998, it was reported "Robert Pentz, director of the National Law Enforcement & Corrections Technology Center for the Western Region, operated by Aerospace Corp. for the National Institute of Justice, said the company had no comment on the tape. "Even though we acknowledge the fact we do work for law enforcement agencies ... it is a matter of policy we don't comment on cases that are open without written permission of the affected law enforcement agency," Pentz said."
  1. Leaked Findings in Thomas Book. However, purported findings from that report were leaked by Steve Thomas in his book and one by Henry Lee: "For a few tantalizing seconds, police heard background sounds that they could not understand. Detectives sent this tape out to the best electronic experts in the region and, still, save for Patsy Ramsey's sobbing and prayers, nothing more could be made out of the background noise. Then the police discovered a new and expert electronics company, Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, California, that they provided with a copy of the tape. What came back was worth all of this trouble. When these sounds were brought up many times over, police heard Burke and John Ramsey in an exchange. The child said, "Please, what do I do?" To this John Ramsey replied, "We are not speaking to you." Finally, Burke is heard to ask, "What did you find?"

Crab's putting it out. The version we heard was edited.

Don't take my word for it. Take a listen. Right after the 4th "Patsy?" the audio goes totally dead and comes back on just before the hang-up. Sounds like the Plumbers at work, if you get that reference!

Listen to the tapes and decide for yourself.

The plumbers - another conspiracy? lol

Actually, that Plumbers crack WAS a joke!

I did, and I have.

Yeah. Those plumbers should learn to tighten their belts before bending over.

My cousin and best friend died October 31, 1995.

To this day, I can remember the last time I saw her. Can still picture it in my mind. As a matter of fact, I can remember the last time I saw her healthy and alive; when I saw her after emergency surgery; and the last time I saw her appear to be breathing, but was, indeed, gone...

I remember our last phone converstation.

The last time I saw her alive and healthy was on a Thursday. Our last phone conversation was on Friday. She died the following Tuesday.

I remember what I was doing when I got the call that she was taken to the hospital and being rushed into emergency surgery.

I still remember.

IrishMist: Great, great post. It is answers like these (by John) that lend credence to my belief that he is involved. He has to be careful in how he answers when he last saw her and he is being careful. THERE IS NO WAY HE WOULD NOT REMEMBER WHEN HE SAW HIS DAUGHTER LAST.

Please, the things the Ramseys have been able to put out and get away with is incredible. "Patsy do you remember when I last saw our six year old daughter, who I loved more than life, who was murdered in our home after Christmas day, because I just can't remember. Help me with this Patsy".

It's hard for me to believe, too, Solace. I still can't say with certaintly that they are guilty. But so many of their actions and reactions make me think that if they didn't do it, they know who did. Too many evasions.
